We gotta make it to the lunchroom quick before anyone else, then get out of there. We still have to eat something." I said
"Right." He replied and followed me down to the lunchroom.
The place was already pretty full. There were way more people than I thought there would be. I guess a lot of people thought it would be a good idea to get there early.
'Here we go again' I thought to myself.
Since Kirishima and I didn't bring a lunch, we stood in the lunch line. The line went quick, we grabbed our lunch, and yeeted out that bitch.
"Well that was easier than I thought it would be." I chuckled and sighed of relief.
"Yeah, almost toooo easy." Kirishima mentioned. He sounded like he was suspicious of something. "Wasn't it a little quiet for it being a lunch room? And wasn't everything going too smoothly? I mean, when has it ever only taken 3 minutes to get through the lunch line?"
"You're right. Something definitely seems odd." I agreed. "You wanna check it out?"
"Sure, but if things go to shit, just know we're probably the only two normal ones in that whole room.
"Deal."
Me and Kirishima walked back into the lunch room. Everyone was completely silent. They were just looking at each other, but not like they were confused. It was like they were communicating with their eyes only.
"I don't know what the freak is going on here but we have to blend in so that we don't get wrapped into this too." Kirishima whispered to me.
"Yeah, okay." I whispered back.
From then on, me and Kirishima didn't say a word to each other. He signaled with his hands that he was going to take the side of the room that had the third years, I was going to take the side with our class and the rest of the first years, and we'd meet in the middle where the second years sat. I don't know how I got all of that from a couple of hand signals but I understood and gave him a thumbs up.

I tiptoed around the tables trying not to disturb whatever process was going on between the students. Is it even fair to call them students anymore? It definitely looked like them, but it wasn't the class 1-A that I knew.
"(Y/n)! Please tell me you can speak!" Deku said as he stood up and grabbed me.
Everyone in the room turned our way.
"Run Kirishima!" I yelled across the room. I grabbed deku's hand and headed towards the exit.
I was being pulled by (y/n) but I couldn't help but look back at the hundreds of student who were chasing us. I swear the lunch room wasn't this big before. Where did they all come from.
Suddenly, (y/n) stopped pulling me and we stood still.
"Uhhhhh (y/n), why'd we stop? They're still coming towards us you know." I said nervously.
"I know that. I have a plan. Just keep holding my hand." She told me. I blushed a little because I got to hold her hand longer, but she didn't look scared at all. I took a deep breath and trusted her. "Kirishima, go through the door before us." She yelled out to him.
"I was already planning on it." He said as he ran by us. You could hear the fear in his voice.
"You ready deku?" (Y/n) asked me.
"Yeah." I nodded.
"Time freeze!" She yelled. I could see the bubble around us, but I wasn't frozen because I was holding her hand. "Come on let's go."
"Ok— Ahhhhhhhh!!" I screamed mid sentence." One of them had grabbed my leg and started pulling me back towards them. (Y/n), who was still holding my hand, grabbed onto me with her other hand and pulled as hard as she could.

Other than when I was sitting at the table, this is the closest I had ever gotten to 'them', whoever they are that took over my friends, bodies. Before, I was trying to avoid making eye contact because everyone started acting weird but now, looking into their eyes, it gave me a warm feeling, like everything was going to be okay.
"Stay with me Deku!" (Y/n) yelled. I snapped out of it and kicked 'them' in the face so that 'they' would let go and we ran away.
"Couldn't you just have put the whole room in a time freeze?" I asked.
"Yeah, but then I would have a headache and I wouldn't be able to run as fast as we're running now." She replied.
We caught up to Kirishima in front of the school.
"I think we should go lock ourselves in the dorms." I said. "Luckily, it doesn't look like 'they' can use the quirks of our friends."
"Good idea." Kirishima said.
We headed towards the dorms, locked the doors and boarded up the windows with anything we could find. This was our new headquarters.
We all sat on some of the chairs and couches that were left in the common room.
"Wait, they were able to grab deku through my time freeze." I said. "They can defy space and time!"
"Wait, if they can do that, then aren't our quirks useless against them?" Kirishima asked.
"Maybe quirks like mines, but maybe not every quirk." I reasoned. "Dek—" I stopped.
Deku was just looking, at nothing, like 'they' were in the lunchroom.
"Deku!" I called out to him louder.
He turned his head toward me. Then shook his head as if something had taken over him.
"Sorry. I'm fine. I'm fine." He smiled.
I looked at Kirishima and he gave me the same look.
They got Deku didn't they?

The Last Breath
When Yezzu first sent his sons to the realm of men, they brought with them the magic of the gods. They created the three kingdoms we now have today being Dremshen, Ex'ol, and Kantillion. In the five thousand years since the gods left, much has changed. Great wars were fought, Universities were built, civilizations were created. One thing remained after the gods' departure though, their powers. Today, the balance of crafting the three gods brought has shifted. In the beginning, each had the same skill as the other, but the magic that was passed down through the millennia has diminished. The struggle for power that started long ago is coming to a defining moment. Plots of war and assassination are being weaved. Don't despair, for we may yet be saved from the disasters to come. Our hope lies in three young crafters. The first is William Divus, who sets out from his small village into the Dremshen Kingdom to study crafting after his father's passing. His questions about his father and his quest for knowledge drive him. Next comes Ehzahn Obasi, an Ex'olian thief with unparalleled skill. He steals for the thrill, no longer needing the rewards that come with it. He has just achieved his lifelong dream, but he will soon learn how much he underestimated the fallout from his daring theft. The last is Ki Soru, the niece of a powerful duke. She showed promise with crafting at a young age, so she had the best training the Kantillion Kingdom had to offer. Ten years have passed since her lessons began, leaving the king unsatisfied with the results. Her life is upended when her new teacher arrives, revealing a secret kept from her that changes her whole life. These three are our heroes. They were born in separate kingdoms under vastly differing upbringing, but each with their own part to play in the challenges to come. Here begins our tale of mischief and misery with only but a sliver of hope.
8 133Aethernum—Cradle of Yore
Diary Number 999, year I-don't-care, location home. Parenting. Of all I've found clear answers except for this most mundane topic. And not for the lack of trying. My library, so humongous my good friends told me one after the other there is no book it doesn't contain helped little. There are crumbling tomes of ancient magic, vocabularies depicting the evolution of the magical language itself, grimoires and holy bibles of cults long past, rows and rows filled with scrolls bearing the efforts of my magical research, contracts, diaries, letters and more. But parenting? There was none. Yet a struggle nearly every member of the Races is not foreign to. I...must have lived under a rock. Across aeons no less. What a humbling revelation.
8 136Problems of Modern Society
There are many problems in our society. So come along and lets make them sound worse than they really are!
8 231Short Stories
So these are just a few, very short, stories that I just had to write. They tend to focus on different things, as and when they come to me. They'll most likely be fantasy, and not very long. At all. Honestly, I'm putting them up here so they don't just sit on my hard drive. Kind of sad to think of imagination unshared. Edit: If you could provide some feedback on what you read, I would appreciate it. I do just post these here, and will continue (as and when) to do so.Thank you.

8 73Broken (Peeta Mellark Fanfiction)
Peeta Mellark has survived the Hunger Games, he escaped the Quarter Quell, then he was rescued from the torturous hands of the Capitol. His memory has been tampered with, so everything he sees could be either real or fake. Instead of a smooth recovery, he is thrown right into war. What would become of him in the end? Broken. (Taking place a little over halfway through the Mockingjay book and after the movie Mockingjay Part 1) This is a somewhat sequel to the other story I wrote called Hijacked, but I think you could read this without reading the other one. This story and these characters are owned by Suzanne Collins, not me (obvi)
