《Todobakudeku x reader》(Todoroki pt. 5) Close Encounters

"Let's Go!" Kirishima said pumping his fist in the air.
We all split up into our teams to search the training grounds and agreed to meet up at the entrance on the other side.
Todoroki and I took our portion of the training ground and began to search.
"So all we have to do is walk to the other side of the training ground?" Todoroki asked me.
"Yeah pretty much. That's what Iida said would be the best."
"This is gonna be a breeze."
"Sure is." I commented.
"You know, it's funny how we agreed that we shouldn't split up but we ended up splitting up anyway, just in a smaller space." Todoroki thought out loud.
"Now that I think about it, that's pretty true."
The walk was pretty silent after the small conversation me and Todoroki had when each team first split up and took their separate part of the training grounds. Nothing had seemed suspicious from our side of the field nor did anyone say anything from over the headsets.
The entrance was in sight and team 'Fast Gravity' that was made up of Iida and Uraraka were already there. They were there pretty early if you ask me, but I guess with iida's speed along with Uraraka making him weightless, it could've been possible.
"Hey, were supposed to check inside the buildings orrrr, just walk from point A to point B?" The four of us heard Denki day from over the headset.
"Well of course you were. It's not checking if you don't check." Mina said next from over speaker.
"Umm..." Kirishima started over the headset. "We didn't check inside the buildings either."
Iida sighed and then face palmed his forehead. "It doesn't matter if you checked inside or not. The buildings are mostly broken down and almost all windows should be busted. There aren't any basements to make sure no one would be stuck in a total collapse so as long as you didn't see anything suspicious you should be fine."

It was weird hearing Iida in real life and through the headset at the same time since the headset sound was slightly delayed.
Bakugo and Kirishima were the next to arrive followed by Mina and Jirou, and so on until the last group to come was team 'Yay' with Denki, mineta, and Shoji.
"What took you guys so long." Jiro asked.
Before they could even answer, Shoji took a step forward and raised his hand. "Can I get another partner?"
"Jeez it's been 20 minutes. What did you guys do to him?" I asked.
"Nothing." Kaminari and Mineta said suspiciously at the same time and looked away.
Iida pinched the bridge of his nose then adjusted his glasses. "Okay Mineta you're by yourself and Kaminari you go with Shinso."
"SHINSO?!" The whole class said together like the mystery gang unmasking the true culprit. Iida was the only one that didn't seem surprised.
"Yo." Shinso said from the back of the group. Everyone turned their heads to see him.
"But shinso, you're not in our class. Do you know where your class is? Or better yet, the whole school?" Mina asked.
"No I just woke up late and saw you guys walking into here so I followed." Shinso said through a yawn.
"Wait a minute! Are we just going to completely skip over the fact that I'm by myself now? There's clearly enough people now to have groups of two split even!" Mineta said drawing the class' attention back towards the front.
"Shoji is going to be in a group of three with Sero and Ojiro." Iida said.
"But why have a group of three and a group of one when you can have two groups of two?!" Mineta fussed.

"Does anyone volunteer to be Mineta's partner?" Iida waited for a moment. "Going once, going twice, gone."
Mineta's jaw dropped as he looked around the class.
"Well with that out of the way, let's move on the training ground B." Iida said and led the group to the next giant area we would have to cover.
No one else questioned how Shinso got there or if he really did oversleep. For all we know, he could be an imposter.
"Alone... by myself. With no one else. And danger. *shiver shiver* I think I'll just hide behind this rock... No! Rocks are for babies. I can do this.... I can't do this!"

Magic-Farming
A thought experiment gone out of control, inspired by kosnik4's popular story, Magic-Smithing. What would life be like for someone else who was transported to the world inside Magic-Smithing? Someone who wasn't as prone to encounter incresasingly dangerous people, whose life was a little less chaotic? What if this person was content with a simple life of farming? Tending to the plants, sowing seeds, and reaping a great harvest at the end of the year. Of course, he's also a data scientist, so he can't help but squeeze out the maximum possible efficiency of his time and the potential of his attributes. Who doesn't make excel spreadsheets in their spare time? This is a slightly more "Slice of Life" esque version of kosnik4's story. Hopefully lighthearted, funny, and as enjoyable to read as it is thinking of increasingly ridiculous skill progressions. Thanks to kosnik4 and Magic-Smithing for providing fertile grounds for creativity to thrive. NOTE: THIS IS A FAN FICTION, AND ALL INTELLECTUAL RIGHTS BELONG TO KOSNIK4. I'm a patron of his story, and love reading about what happens next in his story. I've tried my best to be as accurate to his canon science as possible, though it's not 100% feasible. Afterall, the story isn't even done yet! My plan for the releases is to release a single chapter a day until 3/7, and then release 4 chapters a week on M, W, F, & Sat. P.S. If anyone can figure out what the EXACT formula for Level XP is, I'd love to hear it. I'm starting to doubt my math and excel capabilities. I have an equation that is fairly accurate and stays close to his values, but not exactly the same.
