《Todobakudeku x reader》(Todoroki pt.2) Late Night Thoughts

I made my way down the large tower and back to the ground. That was the last class and now I don't really know what to do until 12. It's only 4:30.
Jeez. I have less than eight hours to clean my room. It's a disaster! Well let's get down to business I guess. First the clothes all over the room. I should wash them, but this is a dorm and I'll never get the chance to wash them, so in the closet they go.
Covers? I'll change those and put the dirty ones in the closet. I'll put my shoes in the closet too. The pepsi bottles, shoe boxes, more clothes, extra covers, hair products (because that's the only way to get my hair the way it always looks), and dishes--wait dishes? Eh I don't feel like doing them. They can go in there too.
Well looks like its all clean, and in record time. It's only 5pm. As long as nobody touches this closet ever, I'll be fine.
I guess sitting in the common did end up passing a lot of time. It's already 11:55pm. I guess I'll go up into my dorm and throw on a t-shirt and some shorts. I may fall asleep over there. Might as well be comfortable while doing it.
I showed up at the door at 11:59pm sharp. Right before I could knock, the door swung open.
"I'm glad you showed up on time." He said slightly blushing and looking away. "Or else I would've opened the door for nobody."
"Oh hi." I say as I smile and walk in. He closes the door behinds me and looks me up and down.
"In your pajamas already?" He asked.
"Yeah. It's, ya know, kinda like 12 o'clock at night. I'm kinda tired, but I'm sure this ice cream will give me a jolt of energy." I say sitting on the floor in front of the bed.

"Speaking of ice cream, what flavor do you want?" He asks walking towards the fridge.
"You got birthday cake?" I say questioning his question.
"Of course." He smiles while pulling it out of the freezer, as well as another tub of ice cream that I can't see the name of. He walks over and sits next to me.
"What other flavors do you have?" I asked curiously.
"Vanilla, strawberry cheesecake, chocolate chip cookie dough, fudge, super man, cookies and cream, butter pecan, mint chocolate chip, oreo, m&m, and snickers." He replied in a long chain of words.
"And you have a tub of each?!" I ask surprised.
"Where do you even put all of those?"
"My quirk is shooting literal ice out of my hand remember? Ice cream is my best friend." He replied
"Wow. I'm gonna have to move into here as soon as possible." I joke.
"By all means, go ahead. It's not like I have company everyday." He says opening his ice cream.
I actually started to consider his offer. When he started digging into his ice cream, I can finally see what's inside. Todoroki didn't mention this flavor. It doesn't look like an ice cream I've ever seen. There are many different textures and it looks like its base is chocolate.
I opened my own ice cream and ate some too to try to distract myself from his interesting flavor, but it didn't work.
"What flavor do you have?" I finally ask.
"Try it and find out." He says, putting a decent amount on his spoon and feeding it to me.
"It's delicious!! What is this?" I ask with my mouth still full, going in for another scoop with my own spoon.
"Shi chocolate. Shi is four in Japanese so it has four different chocolates. The ice cream itself, caramel m&ms, chunky chocolate chip, and small kit kat bites. It doesn't sound too good at first but it's so good.

"I can tell. See the world doesn't need heroes. Why commit a crime when you have this ice cream?" I ask.
"Well there are 1, those who can't buy it, 2, those who don't know about it, and 3, those who don't or can't eat ice cream." Todoroki answers
"Look, only we need to know about it. It can be like a code word or something we say to each other in class." I say still eating from his tub of ice cream.
"Alright. Deal." He agreed.
Me and todoroki spent the rest of the night talking to around 4am. I don't even remember going to sleep.
I woke up the next morning feeling a great deal of warmth on my back side. I tried to move, but something was restaining me. It was an arm, Todoroki's arm. And his bed, and his room. I guess I was right about falling asleep here. I slightly turned my head to see Todoroki sleep. I wanted this moment to last forever. Me comfortably in his arms sleeping peacefully.
I closed my eyes again to try to savor the last minutes of this heaven until I felt todoroki's breathing change pattern. He sighed into a groan, but I understood because who likes waking up? He moved a little and finally opened his eyes
"Uh... s-s-sorry. I must've turned in my sleep last night." He says in a light chuckle, fully sitting up and scratching his head.
The more he sits up, the more of him I can see. He had no shirt on. Just his boxer briefs. He rolled out of the bed and onto the floor and lays there. I can hear his faint snores.
"Hey! Get up!" I told him in a playful way. But I couldn't help but fall back asleep myself.
I woke up an hour later and looked at the clock.
"8:02am?! We're late! Class starts at 8am! Todoroki, wake up. We're late!" I said panicked.
"Late?!" Todoroki questioned. He jolted up and went to his closet but a bunch of stuff came towering out.
"I'll let you deal with that. I'm going to my dorm to change. Meet me downstairs and we can take your ice." I said opening the door to his dorm. He nodded to show he understood and I rushed towards my room.
The halls were silent and empty. Everyone else was in class already. I got my uniform, did the bare essentials, and ran back downstairs where Todoroki was. When I was close enough, he grabbed my hand and dashed away on his ice. We couldn't use our quirks in the school itself so we ran up the three flights of stairs and finally made it to the classroom.
Todoroki slid open the door but we both needed time to catch our breaths. Everyone stared as we walked in, and by some miracle, Mr. Aizawa wasn't there yet.
"Well aren't you two just always together." Uraraka said from her seat smiling.
"Right. Always late to something together." Denki said.
"DON'T TELL ME YOU TWO ARE FUC--" Bakugo said as I froze him in a time bubble before he could finish his sentence,
"Ofc we aren't!" I said and me and Todoroki took our seats. I was in the front row and he was in the back.
"KING?!" Bakugo finished once he was out of the time freeze.

8 131The Fate Eater
What might a man really do if he found himself reincarnated into a fantasy world as a dragon prince? How would he come to terms with his new nature, his larger-than-life family, the agendas of warring factions, and the destiny he never asked for? This is a story that intends to defy some isekai tropes, but play into others. It's mainly about exploring a rich hand-crafted world, full of its own history and mysteries. Its characters have their own lives and aspirations, and our protagonist is but a piece of the greater tapestry. This story is not about right and wrong, or good and evil. It's about a dragon-man being tested by fate, power, and time. It's about what it's like to live as an outsider who lost their home. But perhaps the most central theme is freedom. What does freedom really mean? What will it cost and how much might one be willing to pay for it? Does it even truly exist? Let's find out together.

But the past has a way of rising again. A surprise rescue mission brings Brenn face to face with her wife; delirious, ill, and scarred from the bullets Brenn thought had killed her, but very much alive with a newborn at her breast. A newborn whose very existence could mean intergalactic war. Now Brenn must balance her wife’s delicate mental health, new motherhood, and her own complicated feelings while working with her Captain and their odd bunch of friends and allies to protect her tiny family from a small, but influential group within the Aesir government who will stop at nothing to take back Brenn’s wife and child. All the while, there are whispers of a greater and more ancient power coming to life. A power Brenn’s wife knows more about than she wants to let on. It’s a good thing Brenn is used to fighting. CW: Contains mildly graphic scenes of violence/death, topics of unwanted pregnancy/abortion, scientific experimentation on sapient beings, depression/suicide, grief, and trauma. The tone of this fiction is often dark and distinctly dystopian in lighter shades of Margaret Atwood, though where there is darkness there is always hope and light. On Hiatus Until September When the School Year Begins and Mom This story takes a considerable amount of time and mental energy to complete. I thought I had enough backlog and time to post it as a serial while COVID kept my child home from school, but it turns out while I can quickly write other pieces, I cannot produce the quality I need with this one at an acceptable rate. We'll resume in September when my days are much freer. Thank you for your patience and stay tuned for a different storytelling romp more suited for a serial platform in the meantime.
