《Todobakudeku x reader》(Todoroki pt.1) Costume Party

Everyone funneled into the class and the seats filled up quickly. I was forced to sit in the back next to Todoroki and Toru. We had time to socialize before Mr. Aiwaza came, but I decided to keep to myself. I put my head down and started to doze off until I felt someone shaking my shoulder.
"Hey (y/n), it's time for lunch." Todoroki said still gathering his things.
I look around and everyone is gone except for Todoroki. I swear I was just starting to fall asleep bt time flew so fast.
We had free a little bit of free time since Mr. Aizawa wasn't there yet. I look over to Bakugo but he's just yelling and it's too early to deal with him. Iida and Uraraka are in their own little conversation and Deku is just mumbling to himself again.
The only other person I really know is (y/n) but she was already fast asleep. God she's so cute when she sleeps. I hear a little snore come from her and I almost burst out laughing in the middle of class but I restricted my enjoyment to a light smile. I guess I'm the only one who heard it. I'm never gonna let her live this down.
After class is over, I shake her awake and gather my things. She raised her head and almost looked confused, but I just let her be.
I managed to make it out of the classroom before Todoroki and I headed to the roof. It was raining but instead of going back inside, I ran out in the rain, put myself in a time bubble, and spin around looking at all the water drops that are standing still in the air.
When I finish turning, I see Todoroki leaning in the door frame smiling. Seeing him smile was a first for me. I ran over through the rain, grabbed his hand, and shot another time bubble, this time with both me and Todoroki in it.
"Isn't it beautiful?" I ask him.
"Yeah." He says looking around.
"So what? Is this our little spot or something? I ask jokingly. He looks down at me.
"Well you did steal it from me." He says smiling.
"Hey! I was just being a good friend!" I said in my defense.

"I guess so." He replies taking one step closer to me, Making me feel shorter than I already am. "You know, you have the funniest snore in the world." He says.
I can see his terrible attempt to hold his laughter in. My cheeks turn pink.
"Just let it all out." I told him, folding my arms and rolling my eyes. He breaks out in full laughter, wiping tears from his eyes. "Jeez it wasn't that funny!" I pout.
"Sorry, sorry." He says and truly means it.
Out of nowhere I get this terrible headache and I fall to the ground. My time bubble instantly disappears.
"Are you alright?!" Todoroki asked with a worried look on his face.
"Yeah I'm fine. I just went way over my limit for how long the time bubble last I told him. He helps me off of the ground.
"Yeah I was kinda wondering why rain drops were still floating." he said looking away.
"Well we should probably head to lunch now. We're both soaked." I said walking towards the door.
"Yeah." He responds, following me back into the school.
Me and Todoroki parted ways. He went straight to the lunchroom and I stopped by my locker to get my bento. When I get into the lunchroom, I once again spot Deku's green hair and I walk over. There was no Uraraka, Iida, or Todoroki in sight.
"Deku, why are sitting alone? I ask.
"Uraraka and Iida found two seats together at Bakugo's table today and Todorki is just being Todoroki." He answered. I look over to see Uraraka and Iida, but I didn't know what he meant about Todoroki. I walk and sit in the seat across from Deku.
"Why are you wet?" He continues
"Long story, but were changing into our costumes after lunch is over anyways so it's not that big of a deal." I said.
"Okay. Also, I heard about you and Kacchan." He said in a sadder tone.
"Oh that was nothing. The power went out and I didn't want to step on everybody trying to find my spot and Bakugo was just there too from when he stormed off. I said, trying not to mention the slight cuddle sesh we had.

"Oh okay" he said.
Lunch was over and it was time for our next hero class, but this time we can wear our costumes! I can't wait to see everyone's costumes. My costume is red and black with a special part on my right arm from my elbow to my middle finger to enhance my time freezes to make them bigger and better.
It was a little tighter on my body than expected, but I guess you can't have any loose fabric when you're hopping around battling enemies. All the other girls costumes were pretty too, well, at least the ones I could see in the locker room.
Everyone had their costumes tailored to their quirk. Since my quirk comes from my hands, I didn't really need to add or remove anything from the clothing itself. My arm piece did the trick.
We all walked out to the training grounds where the boys and Mr. Aizawa were already standing. Deku was the first person I spotted, as always, because of his green hair. He looked back and waved hello and I did the same. No one else really seemed to notice us walk onto the field until we got closer
"Well looks like everyones here." Mr. Aizawa said in his usually dull tone. "Today is meant to be the day where you try out your costumes to make sure they fit and work properly, as well as to see if you needed to add or remove something. Your costumes will change the more you develop your quirks. For today, you'll be pairing in teams of two. Your goal is to make it to the top of the tower before anyone else.
You may use your quirks to your full ability since we're outside, but please do not try to kill anyone. Especially you Bakugo." Mr. Aizawa finished.
Of course Bakugo would be the one he calls out. He wanted his superhero name to be Lord Explosion Murder for gosh sake.
I looked over to see who didn't have a partner. Pretty much everyone didn't so I decided to make the first move. I walked up to Todoroki and asked if he wanted to be my partner. I could freeze everyone in time so that we could get a head start, and he could just make a giant ice platform.
"Uh hey Todoroki. Would you maybe kinda sorta like... be my partner for assignment?" I said awkwardly trying to avoid eye contact.
"Sure! You can freeze everyone while we fly our way to the top on an ice platform I can make." He said confidently like he's had the time to think this up.
"Cool. I had the same idea, though, are you gonna be able to make it to the top that quickly? That tower is pretty high." I asked concerned.
"Of course. As long as I have you. Keep them froze as long as you can, but don't give yourself a headache okay?" He told me.
"Okay. I promise I won't." I reply.
Everyone gathered by the starting line near the bottom of the building in their pairs of two.
"On your marks, get set, GO!" Mr. Aizawa said.
Before I knew it, Todoroki grabbed me and started skating on his ice towards the foot of the building. I held out my arm and released a time freeze bubble that caught everyone, even Mr. Aizawa. I knew that this arm piece would help, but this is just over powering.
I still could still only hold it for 10 seconds. We were about half way up the tower when I saw Uraraka on Iida's back making him weightless, skating up the side of the building and pass us.
Bakugo and Kirishima were pretty close behind us too. Bakugo was using his grenade looking cannons and kirishima was just dead weight since all he could do was turn to stone.
Me and Todoroki made up the tower second, right behind Iida and Uraraka.
"Despite our best efforts, we still lost." I said looking over at Todoroki who was next to me.
"Yeah. Let's drown in our sorrows with a tub of ice cream." He looked down at me and said.
"Sure why not?" I questioned, not knowing what I was getting myself into.
"My dorm, 12am sharp." He said before walking away.
Why would he ask me to meet so late? We do still have school tomorrow.

Apex Predator
Earth is a fairly small place, but it's all Bath has. It's the only home he's ever known for all of his 500-or-so-million years of life. One day, Bath realized his treasured Earth was being drawn into the next mass extinction ahead of schedule. So, fascinated by the humans and their quick rise to power (after all, setting off a mass extinction is a pretty sizable achievement), what's a nearly all-powerful, somewhat bored, morally ambiguous, savagely violent, shapeshifting alien entity to do other than assume the form of a human and do some front-line investigating? Little did Bath know he would soon stumble upon a mysterious human organization with a gate leading to planets eons away. And that's just the beginning... A story with aliens, intergalactic space travel, mind powers, and an abundance of adventure! Author's note: ON HIATUS! Hello and thank you for reading! Constructive criticism and grammar-policing are both appreciated. Parts 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6 are complete at 1271 pages! Part 7 is in progress! If you've ever read any other web serials, you might've noticed that authors get better with time (that is, their art or writing improves). Wutosama of Metaworld Chronicles noted that the first 20 chaps are always a mess. This is also the case with Apex Predator. The first two parts (ranging just under 30 chapters, or 161 pages) are absolutely subpar. While I have edited them as of 7-10-18, they require a rewrite, which is currently in the works but not complete. For a sample that gives insight into what the latter ~80% of the story's writing style is like, check out chapter 56. Vote for Apex Predator on Top Web Fiction! The Apex Predator Discord is here. Cover: original work done by me, the author, caerulex.
