Rapid Cellular Regeeration/Regenerative Healing/Spontaneous Regeneration
She can close minor to moderate wounds near-instantaneously, appearing as though nothing ever happened. Lost limbs and internal organs will be completely regenerated, damaged nerves can be healed, critically and fatally damaged cells can regenerate, preventing scars.
She is practically immune to drugs, disease, and all harmful foreign substances. (Like alcohol)
She is immune, or at least highly resistant, to telepathic attacks, since the regenerative power restores brain cells to its unaltered state.
The healing strength may be so powerful that her blood could be enriched with healing powers that can be used to heal others.

Teresa Aimee Veeks, preferably known as Aimee, was the product of a casual two week fling between a government agent with an unbelievable sense of aim on a mission in a completely mundane town in Texas and a town Hair Stylist. Shannon didn't learn about her pregnancy until he had left town so she decided not to tell him and try her hand at single parenting. Aimee grew up with the impression that her father just didn't want her which her mother just let her believe. It wasn't until she was five that Nick Fury informed Clint about the child and, as far as Aimee knows, neither Shannon nor Clint wanted their daughter to be dragged into the danger that was a life involved with SHIELD. Aimee would have chosen a life full of danger any day with a parent that would look after her and let her have a childhood.
Instead, at seven years old, her mother lost the battle with alcoholism, becoming the town drunk and submitting Aimee to years of child abuse. Shannon claimed to love her daughter and never personally, just neglected her and endangered her by letting boyfriends and hook-ups roam free in the house. You can only imagine what the child endured. Nonetheless, she was a good child as she excelled academically and in extra-curricular activities too, becoming head cheerleader. At sixteen, her school organised a trip across state for some cheerleading competition which she had to work to pay for herself. She eventually did it but maybe she shouldn't have. Away from home, some men kidnapped her after seeing her compete and win the cheerleading competition. They must've been looking for a young girl strong and flexible enough to survive an experiment that could either ruin or better her hair life. She was left in a dark room with ten other teenage boys and girls, some brought against their wills and some volunteered. On day three, people started to take them one at a time and the screaming began. No one told them what was happening and Aimee was terrified. The others never came back.

She was the last one to be taken from the room and she was brought to what looked like a hospital room and harshly strapped to a bed, face-down. She didn't know what the hell was going on so she was crying and trying but failing to fight against the restraints. But, as soon as the incredibly sharp pain ran down her spine started sending fire through her veins, her vision faded to black and she was dead to the world for days. She was told what had happened when she woke; she was the only one to survive an experiment in attempts to make an enhanced human. They injected twelve circular needles along her spine, eight injections along every third vertebrae in her spine. She was very confused what they meant by enhanced because she didn't look any different and she couldn't create any power or destroy anything. They let her recover for a month then they called her to a training room.
They opened fire on her suddenly, bullets raining down on her. It didn't hurt exactly, it was like hundreds of little electrical zaps. And there was no blood, no holes. She was fine.
They spent months testing if she was immune to other forms of damage and she was, to everything. They also started training her to defend herself, to fight. She trained in everything for the years she was in Germany, physically and mentally. She was happy to do anything that they asked because they never treated her badly after her enhancement. They also never told her that they were HYDRA, that their goal was destruction.
It wasn't until she was nineteen that HYDRA retrieved Loki's Sceptre and the Infinity Stone so they started slightly different experiments again. They recruited many people again, in their twenties this time. Aimee didn't meet any of them until after so she met only two. Pietro and Wanda Maximoff. She was younger than the twins but she couldn't be hurt so she trained them. They all quickly became the best friends and, after a year of so, Aimee fell in love with Wanda. And vice-versa.
At twenty-two years old, HYDRA sent Aimee on a mission to kill some important SHIELD Director. Natasha Romanoff was the person that she was pitted against. Natasha recognised her from photos of Clint's presumed dead daughter. Natasha tried to talk to Aimee but the young woman didn't believe that she was sent by the bad guys to assassinate the good guys. Aimee started to fight the SHIELD agent and Natasha was actually surprised that a child that was kidnapped over five years ago was so competent at fighting. The onslaught of fists and kicks went on for half an hour with Aimee trying to end Natasha and Nat trying to subdue her best friend's daughter.
After a long time, Aimee was shoved into a wall. A piece of metal was sticking out was shoved into her skull. She immediately lost consciousness and her eyes instantly glazed over a milky white. Natasha was horrified and in the next couple of hours, Clint was too.

Aimee had no concept of anything for another half day until she regained consciousness in almorg because they mortician removed the metal shoved in her brain. She woke alone in another surgical room completely naked with her skin split open and folded over her ribs. Little cries of fear came from her mouth as used her hands to rejoin her skin. She covered herself with a sheet when the person in charge of her autopsy came back and screamed, alerting everyone.
After the big surprise that she wasn't dead and that she was enhanced, Clint refused to let her go back to HYDRA because she was his child and didn't want harm to come to her. At the same room time, SHIELD refused to let her go back because they couldn't allow an indestructible assassin to be back in HYDRAs hands. Unlike the latter, she wasn't locked in a dark empty room. She was just situated in a bedroom at the Avengers compound and forbidden to leave without company.
- Aimee tried countless times in the three months to escape and return to Wanda specifically but she never could
- She refused to tell SHIELD about either her girlfriend or her best friend because she was concerned that they would get hurt
- After some time, she ended up really enjoying the company of Natasha and their bond grew to a kid sister kind of relationship. Her relationship with her father started with a severe dislike but after a while it became a tolerence. Clint has and will always love his daughter but she's still a little salty that he knew about her and didn't come for the abused child
- Her mother has been notified that Aimee is alive but the young woman refuses to see or contact her because of the neglect that she allowed
- She is quite a jumpy girl because of the trauma of both her childhood and the experiments
- She has quite a lot of survivors guilt because she was the only one that survived HYDRA's first experiments. Now Pietro's death is added to that as she should've been the one to save her father as the bullets would've bounced right off her
First Appearance - Avengers: Age of Ultron
Final Appearance - TBA
In Avengers: Age of Ultron, Aimee still isn't allowed to go on mission with the rest of the team, especially on one's involving HYDRA because some still questioned her loyalty so she wasn't on any mission surrounding the retrieval of the sceptre. That meant that she wasn't present for the mission where the enhanced twins were violently introduced. When Natasha and Steve came home, they immediately demanded answers about the other two young adults with powers. Aimee stayed silent for fear of condemning who she felt were more like family than anyone but then Natasha let slip that the speedster hurt her father. She rethought her stance then and told them everything, believing that they wouldn't hurt her best friend and the woman that she loved. Because of the whole mess with Ultron and because Aimee knew the twins and could potentially turn them, she came along to Ulysses Klaw's ship. She fought no one but fired guns at the robots so she couldn't hurt Wanda or Pietro. Wanda incapacitated most of the other Avengers but she saw when Clint hurt her girlfriend. Pietro came to get his sister but she told him to go back for Aimee while she dealt with 'the big one'. Aimee woke up again in an apartment that she didn't know and she started freaking out because this was similar to the memory of the morgue which still tormented her when she slept. Wanda entered the room and the room was full of tearful reunions. Aimee tried to convince them that the Avengers weren't bad people that were helping the world, not destroying it like Ultron. They didn't listen and consequently brought her along to Dr Cho's. She just stood back silently and just watched as Wana saw nwhat Ultron planned. The rest of the movie went on, the only difference is her being part of the Avengers team. In between AoU and Captain America: Civil War, Aimee mourns Pietro Maximoff right alongside Wanda but her girlfriend's grief is obviously more so Aimee tries comforting or distracting her.
In CA: CW, she obviously sticks with Wanda and she believes that Tony is wrong in signing control of six super people to being ordered about by selfish governments.
Avengers: Infinity War - As is just she's helping the Avengers. She is snapped with Wanda.
Avengers: Endgame - She comes back with the others and engages in the final battle with the others.
In Wandavision, she's Wanda's wife. Vision won't be there so the government is focused on the town. Somehow Wanda makes herself pregnant even though they're both biological females.
In Hawkeye, Aimee is only mentioned in a phone call with her father.

As this is an archive of Catalyst Quest (an interactive, collaborative story), the prompts that were included with the original run of Avowed have been stripped, and the story is presented like a traditional novel for your reading convenience. If you would like to read Catalyst in its original format or participate in current events, you can find us here, on Sufficient Velocity. This book is complete! The story will continue with Catalyst: Calunoth, just as soon as I am done revising its content for here on Royal Road.
