She has one fingernail scratch mark going from the bottom of her eye to her cheek. It's self inflicted as she tried to scratch her eyes out once when a building that she in blew up on a mission. It was like she was in a trance so she didn't intentionally try to hurt herself. The other scars faded except for one

Pietro Maximoff

Meadhbh truly is from the planet of Morag, a civilisation that was abandoned centuries ago. No one knows who her birth parents were but her birth mother was definitely a Terran. No one knows the circumstances of her birth either but the only thing that is a known fact is that the Power Stone was present in some capacity at her birth.

She thinks she was born in the city of Irkutsk, a city in Russia, to someone completely unknown. She was left as a baby abandoned in a park with nothing but a blanket and a note from her birth mother about how she didn't think she could handle parenthood. Roisin Яхонтов found the baby while the family were at the park. In the note, it read that the biological mother was from Israel and had been visiting Irkutsk Oblast in Russia on a trip where she met someone, had a one night stand and had a kid nine months later. That was a lie obviously but it's what Meadhbh believes.

Roisin immediately raced her to a nearby hospital and in the hospital, the doctors reasoned that she was only a day or two old and hadn't been left outside for too long. The Яхонтов family was never really fond of the new baby but Roisin was so decided to adopt her. They then took her back to the Яхонтов household just outside the city. The family came to have ten people in it and Meadhbh was very much the baby with siblings being at least 12 years older.

Ten years later, the Яхонтов parents both died in a explosion which devastated Meadhbh who was the only one left living in the household with them so she took it really hard.

She then had to go to live around Midtown Manhattan in America with her 34 year old brother at the time, Adrian, and his wife Kelly and son Joey. Her powers started to manifest just when she got out of her pit of depression at sixteen despite being so young and immediately her brother didn't know what to do with her. She started causing explosions and she couldn't control it.

Her mum named her because she was from Ireland and hadn't really got to pay tribute to her homeland with her up other kids

- Despite being in America for 13 years, her accent is still very Russian

- Tony is like a father to her and Steve is like an older brother

- She was in the home with her parents when the explosion. She was told that it was a gas leak but she's now terrified that she did it. She basically sat curled up in a ballfor a whole day watching her home burn down around her. She didn't know how at the time but she protected herself with a shield. She basically watched her parents die.

- She has never been the best at regulating her emotions and, after her adoptive parents died and because she was in the blast, now she has PTSD

- She gets triggered by fire

- The PTSD causes her to lose control of her powers. She's better than she was but that's only because of the training she got

Between Iron Man 2 and The Avengers, Meadhbh is eighteen and ends up accidentally using her powers to blow up her high schools Chem Lab. There were no other students in the room so it was just her and her male teacher. Something during that conversation freaked her out so much that she lost control of her power and caused an explosion in that room. She obviously survived but her teacher didn't. The police came to arrest her for manslaughter but it was mostly because they feared her. She almost freaked out again at the prospect of being trapped and she would have annihilated an entire city block if Iron Man hadn't swooped in and talked her down. Tony saw her as a scared little girl so he wouldn't hurt her, he just helped her to relax. He spoke to the cops on her behalf and got them to understand that she meant no harm and was just protecting herself from a bad man. They let her go and Tony brought her home with him to help her train her.

In The Avengers, Meadhbh had realised that the easiest power to control was her speed but she was still training so she wasn't an Avenger yet. Wasn't involved in the Battle of New York.

In Captain America: The Winter Soldier, she was got close to Steve and saw him as a really old older brother figure and she helped him with the Winter Soldier situation. She became an Avenger after that.
