Oralie was born to no one in particular in the Ironcrest Illyrian war camp. Her father was a warrior so she assumed that he died in some kind of violent circumstance and she doesn't know who her mother was but she became an orphan before she was even old enough to know them. Unlike male orphans, the females had always been brought up in a strict school-type-residence that drills nothing into the girls heads but being the perfect wife for the Illyrian warriors. Oralie was different though. The level of power she had was unheard of in anyone let alone in a female or a nobody orphan. The leader of the war camp refused to let her have even one siphon because of both her gender and her age let alone the multiple her power demanded. Some would say that she became incredibly unhinged once her power started to grow. Because she wasn't storing it, it messed with her head so much that the other girls were terrified of her. She would seem like she was talking to imaginary entities that in reality were nothing but empty space, sometimes even naming the dead. She would scream at the top of her lungs about things that would happen to people she'd never met. She would have outbursts too, sometimes violent ones and sometimes just emotional. She'd never be violent in terms of randomly hurting others though. No, it was mainly directed at herself or if she was actually being threatened.

One day, when she turned twenty, the leader of the camp had is men take her to cut off her wings to make her what they considered to be a good wife. Rhysand had already outlawed the practice but she lived in one of the worst war camps that said they'd adhere but then did it anyway. They dragged her kicking and screaming, fighting them as best as she could despite that not being very well. Fate apparently favoured her because that day the High Lord of the Night Court arrived for a surprise inspection of the camp. Cassian and Azriel were there alongside Rhys at the war camp when they all witnessed Oralie fighting hysterically, begging them not to take her wings because "everyone would burn if she fell." Rhysand saw her and she reminded him of the story of his father first seeing and saving his mother. He would've put a stop to it anyway but her downright refusal to be mutilated had him taking a second look. He stopped it right then and there but soon he realised the amount of raw power that small body of hers held. He realised how messed up yet fragile she was in her mind too and took her home to try help her.
She'd received the Siphons and the training she needed but also got the love and the patience she never had. Rhysand and her became really close and he assisted with the magic/power she had. Amren was the one that helped her navigate those visions of hers because she theorised that her mother was from her world and felt a kinship with the young female. Azriel helped teach her to fly as the people at the war camp just refused to teach the crazy girl. Cassian taught her the physical strength and the art of fighting she'd need. Mor helped her with her social skills and how not to say everything that was in her head in front of everyone but also with accepting herself in just being herself. Everyone was also just there for her. They would all try to understand and be incredibly patient with her, never getting frustrated when she'd stop in the middle of a conversation to either completely yell at or eerily whisper to no one in particular. Everyone was so good to her and she soon became so much better in every sense of the word. She would only rarely lose control of her major power. She stopped having her visions during the day and so only dreamed them. She got to the point of being a real Illyrian warrior despite being female. And being able to fly despite not being taught until she was in her late teens. She didn't randomly speak out about nothing in particular or tell someone she didn't know about what she heard or saw and she didn't question her worth as much. She was happy. Accepted.

It wasn't until two decades later that things started to get a lot less platonic between Rhysand and Oralie. They were always close but their relationship became more affectionate so soon after she became more lucid and present. Their mating bond didn't snap into place until after about those twenty years of her living in Velaris with him and Rhys did recognise it but Ora didn't. He didn't tell her right away. That was mainly because she had been so messed up and confused about everything when she arrived that she didn't sense anything between them for ages. When she started to get a little better, she just didn't understand the minor pull to him. He didn't think it'd be a good thing to tell her when she was so vulnerable so he didn't even though it broke his heart every time he looked at her. He thought it'd be manipulative and unforgivable. She was somewhat mad at him at first for keeping it from her but she couldn't stay away from him for long and a couple of days later accepted the mating bond. She had always felt bad because he'd been silently suffering with the inability to tell her during that time of secrecy.
Once their relationship became romantic, her having to initiate it as he had always miraculously been able to restrain himself from speaking to or touching her in that way because he didn't want to push her, in a consuming moment of passion, they began the sealing of that relationship, of their potential mating bond. Rhysand told her everything then.
She was somewhat mad at him at first but she couldn't stay away from him for long and a couple of days later accepted the mating bond. She had always felt bad because he'd been silently suffering with the inability to tell her during that over three decades.
- Oralie got so depressed when Rhysand was Under the Mountain. Their relationship was just so new and it devastated her to lose it.
- One of her eyes is blue, the other brown
- After being saved from the brutalisation the other Illyrians wanted to inflict on her, Rhysand and the others stayed in a house in the war camp and brought her to stay with them. They stayed for about a week. Rhys decided after getting to know her that he would risk it and trust her. So he brought her to Velaris. She has lived in the townhouse ever since
- She has never been able to live with the quiet or even without the presence of someone nearby
- She used to wake up every night with the need to tell people what she saw but she eventually managed to get to the point of only waking on more important vision occasions after then waiting until morning to tell people what she saw
- She is so protective over Feyre and her sisters
- Her favourite things to do are to sit and watch and listen to the Inner Circles conversations without even engaging and she also adores flying. She likes the warmth and looking at the beautiful stars. The thing she holds dearest in the world are her friends. She really really dislikes the darkness and the silence as they both attribute to everything becoming more overwhelming
- She is terribly afraid of abandonment so has an irrational fear of the people she loves turning on her and believing she's crazy like everyone else who've met her or even heard of her does
- Rhys (in ACOMAF) marries her and names her High Lady of the Night Court

Weavers... this lot has been synonymous with freaks at best, and devil worshipers at worst, since they were first found. Thankfully, they make up a negligible number of people, but they can still be incredibly dangerous. Oftentimes, they wind up killing themselves or others when their ability to perform magic begins to manifest, acting as a sort of natural culling process for weavers. However, this was well before the Republic of Sidia realized that the ability to manipulate reality can be reigned in, controlled. So if you had the chance to turn something dangerous into a weapon, why wouldn't you? This is what fate awaits a young man named Emmet. After his weaving manifests and blood is on his hands, he is given a choice: the gallows, or the Esphell Monastery. What awaits Emmet at the monastery? What is this magic, and how can he control it? What happens to weaver's once they are properly trained? And most importantly, will he survive long enough to have these questions answered?
