In Polis, Cali was born into a very prestigious family that was full of Nightbloods. Her cousin, Lexa, and her younger brother, Leo, were both Nightbleeders and she was also one. Lexa and Cali were close in age by three years but, luckily, Cali wasn't old enough to fight in the Conclave.
