Tris was born in Northern Ireland and her family lived there until she turned eleven. They moved to Virginia to be near her father's sick mother and have been there ever since. Her parents and sister keep it a secret that they also moved because of her. In her last year of middle school, Tris lost it and completely trashed the place. The Salvatore School was recommended to them so they moved there. Killing two birds with one stone.

- She's very powerful to the point of losing control when she's upset

- Her sister used to go to the Salvatore school and Tris kinda lives in her shadow

- She doesn't have many friends but that's mainly because she doesn't want them

- She'll murder anyone who even thinks of calling her Beatrice, metaphorically of course

- Alaric and Tris have grown somewhat close over the years. When she was sent to the school, she was kinda a problem child with her anger issues and all. The headmaster knew she wasn't like that on purpose and was a good person. They ended up spending a lot of time together so he now looks out for her like another daughter. But not as much as Hope and definitely not as much as his own kids

- Her and Lizzie have a complicated relationship. They aren't exactly friendly but the twin is quite ... protective over Tris because they both have similar mental issues

- Alaric gave Tris a necklace soon after she arrived at the Salvatore school spelled to hold her explosive magic back when she wears it
