Cassia was born to a crazy household in Jalisco, Mexico when her mother was merely sixteen years old. Soon after she was born, the two moved to California for a better life away from her grandparents, her aunts and uncles and her cousins that were all in the one house.
They had always lived alone in California but once Cassia turned nine, her mother had another child. Cassia was always very close to both her mother and her half brother and loves them dearly.
At her tenth birthday party, powers began to surface which totally freaked her out. But her mother found out and soon explained it all. The powers were passed down from her Abuela's side of the family and always skipped a generation which was why her mom didn't have them.
Most people thought Cassia to be really really strange so she was bullied a lot. Eventually, when she was fourteen and about to start a new school, her mother moved them all to Beacon Hills.

Cassia was sitting at a table in the corner of the library. She was bored out of her mind with nothing to do in her free period so, every so often, she would force a little squirmy feeling of pain onto a guy across the room. She would inconspicuously chuckle every time her unsuspecting victim would hit his arm as if there was a bug or something eating at him. Eventually, your OC caught wind of this. Cleverly seeing the response from the guy and the pleased look on Cassia's face, your OCgot out of your seat to confront her.
