《ONLY US (ongoing)》Chapter 13

Adonis loomed over no mans land, not yet in his natural form.
"Tonight, we save the queen" he boomed to his loyal soldiers.
They bark in return, baring they're necks at the tattooed alpha in front of them.
Adonis stood with no shirt on and only basketball shorts to cover his private places.
"After tonight we will honour the dead that will fall in this great battle and we will bathe in triumph as the moon shines down. May my ancestors bring us glory." Adonis yelled to his troops, his muscles tensing as the thought of seeing his mate again hung in the air.
"Memento Mori" Adonis says, watching as all of his wolves bore their neck.
"And long live the fucking queen" he finishes before turning on his heel and running into the forests, hearing the howls of his packs approval and feeling their presence behind him as he ran.
As they approached they kept a look out as their king slowed and a group of three men and two women stand in front of him and kneel.
"You may stand" he spoke with authority.
"Introduce yourselves to my warriors." Adonis says, stepping to the side so the little pack was in front of the warriors.
" Salve. We are the Unkindness, our duty is to serve and protect the King and Queen, therefore the crown. I am Karmichael Herrmann and these are my colleagues. I will let them introduce themselves." Karmichael says, he was a man of height, standing at 6'1, still smaller than the alpha but still tall. He had blond hair with beautiful green eyes.
"I'm Joey." A guy with light blue hair says, he stood at about 5'10 and had almost yellowish eyes, a huge contrast to his hair.
"I'm Damien." A dark skinned man said, his eyes a deep brown and hair almost black with thick curls. He was maybe 6 foot and had a slight frown set on his face naturally.
"I'm Saskia!" A girl with short black hair and brown eyes said, smiling. She was about 5'8 roughly but still looked small when near the guys she worked with.
"I'm Alice" a brown skinned girl said, she had wild curly black hair and a small, slightly chubby, body. She stood around 5'6 and looked to be a complete dwarf next to the others. She had small brown eyes and when she looked around, Adonis noticed how one eye was cloudy, white even. She was blind in one eye.
The warriors nod, studying them before turning back to their alpha.
"Show time" Adonis says sarcastically, turning around as the five wolves come behind him and getting into fighting stance.
"Memento Mori?" Joey says, his hand digging into the soil on the forest floor.
"Memento Mori" everyone nodded.
Adonis took off in a sprint with his pack following behind.
He dodged trees and hedges and bushes alike, getting ready to shift.
He started to feel tingly, Excors sensing Mabel near by.
Suddenly screams ripped through the air.
"ADONIS" a voice screamed into the air, so loud it almost made Adonis cover his ears.
At the sound of his mates voice, a voice he hadn't heard in years, Excors went into a frenzy, throwing himself to the front of Adonis' mind and shifting instantly.

He howled.
The deep red wolf stood to his full height of, unnaturally, 6 foot and his pack members bowed before him.
He felt a rush of power fill his veins, his eyes switching from hazel to black.
His pack warriors huff slightly, feeling the air turn cold and isolated at the sudden appearance of their alphas wolf.
Excors put a paw forward slowly, almost giving his, now startled, enemies a chance to run.
Adonis urged Excors to go forward.
And then he ran. He ran so fast that he was flying more than he was running, his feet hardly touching the floor.
He heard the rumbling from the army he had brought, their paws hitting the ground with speed.
Adonis
Adonis
Adonis
Adonis
Her voice echoed inside his head, goddess he was so ready to find her.
They approach a worn down underground bunker.
She must be in there Adonis thought with certainty, feeling her energy.
The Unkindness step up, standing level with Beta Arthur and Liam, right behind the gigantic Wolf.
Karmichael sighed a small breath of anticipation before him and his team bowed before Adonis.
"We will follow your lead Dux." Karmichael said, declaring their allegiance.
Adonis glanced back, Excors' eyes flashing at the display of loyalty.
He nodded and yet again let out a howl.
His pack let out a following howl, shaking the trees around them.
Guards flood the exit of the bunker and involuntarily fall to their knees in front of the King.
Excors steps forward as the Unkindness shifts behind him, coming to flank his sides.
His red fur seems to be everywhere, everywhere and nowhere at the same time. His Vantablack eyes sucking the warmth out of the air.
Excors flashes the guards a wolfish smirk while walking towards them slowly.
Some choke for breath as Adonis limits the oxygen in the air. He has always been able to do that. Take away peoples oxygen, choke them.
He steps in front of the top guard and slowly wraps his deadly jaws around the woman's throat, causing her to choke slightly.
Each time she whimpered he would close his mouth, slowly by slowly, making sure her peers witnessed her pain.
"P-please" the woman whispered out, trying desperately to pry herself from the wolfs grip.
Adonis only sighed happily and snapped his jaws closed, cracking her neck and detaching her head from her body in less than a second. Her body hit the floor and blood poured from the warm body as it slowly went cold.
With a nod of his head, Adonis had his pack ripping apart the filthy rogues that dare take his mate.
He slowly walked towards the entrance door in the midst of the chaos.
He was finally gonna see her, touch her, love her.
And goddess was he ready.
**
A feeling of peace filled her as she looked around the empty white room.
"Hello?" She called out.
Huh she thought, I didn't stutter.
"Hello is anyone there?" She called again, even though the room appeared to be a plain white with no person in sight, she couldn't help but shake the feeling someone was with her.
"It's me" a small voice said from the corner.
Mabel whipped around, her light brown soft curls flowing around her as she spotted the person in the corner of the room.

"Hello. Who are you, may I ask?" Mabel asked, curious as to why she was no longer in the cell.
Dang it she thought, I've got to get back, they're going to rescue me soon.
"You don't remember? My names Nicholas." The child stated, seemingly saddened at the thought of Mabel forgetting him.
"Nicholas! Oh my you've grown taller. How are you? How's your momma?" She answered, feeling a sense of protectiveness for the child.
"I am okay. My momma is doing okay, she will be anyways." He answered.
She realised that his answers left her wondering more than before she asked them.
"Why are you here?" Mabel asked, looking around for an escape that her and Nicholas could take.
"I don't know, you tell me." He replied, making her eyebrows knit together and her turn to him questionably.
"What does that mean?"
"You are the one who brought me here." He answered as if it was obvious.
"Nicholas where are we?" She asked, a sudden stab of dread washing through her.
"We're in your subconscious." He answered.
"Why are we here." She asked.
"Don't you remember? They must pay for what they've done", he replied, looking down at his hands as if on instinct.
"Why? Who? What have they done?" Mabel asked.
"I can't tell you much but...Them. The bad guys. They hurt you and you'll make them pay." Nicholas says, waiting for her reaction.
"How do I stop? I don't want to make them pay, I don't I promise." She says, trying to convince the small boy of her innocence.
Nicholas seemed to consider her words for a second, staring at her as if to figure her out.
"Wake up." He answered simply after a minute.
"Wake up?" She asked closing her eyes in focus.
"Wake up." He said, grabbing hold of her by either sides of her face and placing a kiss on her forehead.
"Call me when you need me, okay?" He says, hugging her- wrapping his arms around her torso.
"Okay" she replied, smiling, placing her hand on the boys head.
Funny, she thought, Adonis used to say the same thing.
-
Her eyes shot open, back to their normal ice colour.
"What was that?" Ame asks, turning to look at Mabel in confusion.
Mabels shakes her head, trying to bring herself to reality more.
Only then did the sounds of screams register in her mind as she shot up from her position on the floor. She clung to Penny for support when she felt dizzy from the sudden pull of gravity, only to be placed back on the floor by Penny.
"Stay there, Dux is coming, he'll be here soon.", she orders before sitting against the wall, eyes glued to Mabel.
"She's not going with him by herself" Soter says, walking to sit next to Mabel.
"Yes she is, he will want to be with her by himself." Penny states, glaring harshly at the blonde boy. If anyone saw them, they'd believe they were siblings bickering over chocolate.
"She can't, she hardly remembers them, I know her more than you and I know she will get overwhelmed." He states, glaring back at her.
"She won't, she's known them her whole life."
"Not for the last three years." Soter says, continuing to bicker.
"She has known him since she was fucking four, they're mates."
"You can't force her into something that will stress her out."
"You're stressing her out right now."
"Let her have her own decision." Oria cuts in, joining the conversation.
"We will, and her decision won't include you."
"We'll all still be there for her." Soter says with defiance.
Mabels head aches as they argue back and forth and she wishes for nothing more than to go back into her subconscious with Nicholas.
The screams continue outside the door, almost adding to her headache.
She feels herself shake, almost as if her body is expecting something.
Suddenly they are cut off, everything falling silent.
Mabel stands up, still shaking slightly.
Everyone in the cell stand too, flanking Mabel from either side.
The air turns hostile.
Mabel can't help but smile at the sense of familiarity of the coldness.
Penny, Oria, Ame and Soter immediately feel the heaviness of a powerful presence, whereas Mabel is growing stronger.
Her eyes glow, staying the same dazzling blue but somehow they glow brighter, lighting the cell up slightly.
Slow antagonising steps are heard from outside the cell, paws scraping against the hard ground.
Mabels thighs and neck burn from her previous wounds but for some reason her body is ignoring the pain, focusing on the new aura that's on the brink of entering the cell.
a voice whispers in her head.
She replied immediately, wondering who the strange energy emitted from.
Suddenly a deep growl forced through the door as it banged open.
All of them fall to their knees, except for Mabel.
Even though the entire building was drowning in darkness, Mabel could still see him.
See his beautiful hazel eyes as they flashed black, both him and his monster eager to see her.
See his brilliant red fur, enveloping her senses.
Smell his mouth watering scent of cinnamon and soft vanilla, a woody sort of smell.
The wolf let out a small whine then did the unexpected.
The six foot wolf stood in front of Mabels 5'4 form and bowed, bearing his neck.
Even as he bowed, he was still taller than Mabel.
Mabels eyes well up with tears, her blood staining her thighs and neck long forgotten.
The wolf peeked up at her, licking her hand- encouraging her to move.
She let out a shaky breath, her eyes glowing brighter and brighter, so much so that Oria, Ame, Soter and Penny had to look away.
But the wolfs eyes were locked on hers.
"A-Addie?" She spoke, her voice cracking.
The wolfs eyes lit up, giving her a wolfish smile as his eyes flashed to Hazel and he nodded.
"Excors?" She says, as the wolfs eyes turned black and he whined, licking her forehead and cheeks.
She let out a sob, a devastating sob that Adonis felt in his chest.
She wrapped her short arms around his neck and cried into his fur, gripping onto it for dear life.
He turns his head into her, licking her shoulder as she shakes from her unsteady breathing and wet sobs.
He was home.
