《Whatever》Chapter 6

Oh, so that was the guy who was talking to me. "All right, Arianna and Cameron, you two can take those two sits on the left side and Carter, well since you're Alpha I guess you have to sit near,"
I just looked out the window and thought, "Looks like those sluts will have a knew meat to paw at."
"Jesse." I just looked out the window and choked back a groan. Kya got up from her seat and went to sit two rows down in front. Then I heard the chair beside me being pulled up.
"Well, it looks like we meet again Jesse." I just replied without looking at him and said, "Whatever."
Then we didn't talk throughout the lesson. The teacher gave the same speech about being back at school as always. As soon as the bell rang, I was out of there but then, I was pulled into an empty classroom.
I turned around and was shocked to see Kya. She sure is strong for her size. She looked at me like she could strangle me and asked me, "Jesse do you know who the hell that guy is?"
I raised my left eyebrow and asked her, "Which one? The guy who takes too much care of his hair or the bastard who sits next to me?" She rolled her eyes at me and said sarcatically, "Oh it's the guy with the fabulous- you know who I'm talking about!" I chuckled and said, "Yeah, yeah. What about him?"
Kya screamed excitingly but quietly, "That is Alpha Carter who may I remind you is next-in-line to being Alpha of the strongest pack in the nation!" The she took a deep breath.
I guess she was waiting for my response because she said, "So?"

I just raised my left eyebrow at her and asked, "So what?" Then she ran her hand through her hair while exasperatingly, "So that means you should be honoured that he is actually acknowledging you!"
I laughed at Kya and said while sitting on the desk, "Dude, he is just like any other guy in this school. Except he's an Alpha." I laughed when Kya sighed frustratingly. "Fates, how did I become friends with this girl?" I just laughed and said, "You love me really."
She rolled her eyes but laughed along with me. "Obviously! Besides if we became enemies, you would use my secrets against me!" I smirked at her and said, "You mean when yo-"
she cut me off by covering my mouth with her hand and she said warningly while giving me a pointed look, "Don't you dare."
Then as she pulled her hand away from my mouth, "Went to the boys locker room and saw them all naked!" Then when I saw that look in her eye, I ran the hell out of there and laughed when she said, "You are SO dead Jesse!" I just ran and ran until I saw someone holding their skateboard.
I quickly grabbed it while saying, "Let me borrow this for a sec. Sorry!" Then placed it on the ground and skated. Everyone I skated pass was laughing as I reached the other door of the school.
As someone open the doors for me I heard someone say, "Go Tony Hawk!" I just laughed and as soon as I was outside, I quickly passed the other students and went to the grand staircase.
As soon as I was close enough, I jumped and the skateboard went on the railing and I slid down with the skateboard below my feet while grinning. Then I quickly jumped off the railing when I was near the end and skated to the school's front entrance.

There, waiting, was Kya with her face laughing and smiling.
As I stopped, "I knew you were gonna do that." Kya said while smirking. I rolled my eyes and said sarcastically, "Sure you did." Then Kya asks, "Whose skateboard did you use?"
Just when I wanted to reply I didn't know, "It's mine." I looked up to where the voice belongs to and saw Carter leaning against the school's entrance door.
Did not expect that.
I walked up to him with his skateboard in my arms and said while giving it to him, "Sorry about that. I was being chased by an angry dwarf and had to get away." I felt Kya slap my shoulder and say, "Shut up Jesse!"
I just laughed at her and then I turned back to Carter. Just like before, my heart started to feel weird and my wolf was working up.
Before I could even acknowledge what I was feeling, "Anderson! My office! Now!" shouted Principal BigBoude.

Song of the Depths
Book 1: Complete, in process of posting.Book 2: 50% complete, will schedule chapters when complete. Part of the Cycles of Imbalance universe. Will contain an alternative relationship dynamic (reverse harem, might be some MM and FF. No cheating, no NTR.) To the Creshe Empire, I’m just a number. I’ve spent the past five years in isolation and under study. With my home razed by a Syldrari attack, my mind damaged, and nothing but white walls and a viewing window around me, I dedicated myself to two things: training my body, and reading any book they allowed me to have. The Empire wants me to serve, to use the inhuman power the Incident stirred within me. Technically, they asked, but it wasn’t much of a choice. It never is. Serve, or… I refused to be a mindless slave. My life was taken from me once. Never again. With the Empire moving forward with their xenophobic plans, they needed someone capable of killing Syldrari—and I was just that. A tool they could use, a tool they thought they could manipulate. Needing me was their first mistake. They gave me leverage, I named my terms. Now, after five years, my life can begin.

The objectives? Locate a source of Helium-3. Plain and uncomplicated. Silas accepts, but on an Earth-like planet he comes across a seemingly unmanned crashed spaceship that has a remarkably similar aesthetic to his exosuit. As local Fauna attack him, the crashed ship’s AI hijacks his suit’s programming, fends off the the locals, and repairs itself by fusing with Silas’ ship. Silas soon finds himself in the midst of a war between two Kardashev type-3 civilizations vying for dominance over the Milky Way. With his new AI companion, Tracey, Silas decides to go on the run to keep Earth’s location secret.
