《teen wolf imagines ⭐️》today's the day - jordan parrish (fluff)

Y/N sat in the passenger seat, looking out the window as the different shades of brown and green from the trees in the forest blurred together. With his eyes focused on the road, Jordan could see from the corner of his eye how nervous she was. He reached over and grabbed her hand in his. She immediately intertwined her fingers with his as she took a deep breath before looking down at their locked fingers. With her other hand she began to randomly trace shapes on the top of his hand.
"You're going to do great," Jordan said with so much confidence.
"We'll see," she mumbled.
"Honey, you're going to get it right."
She let out another deep sigh. "That's what you said the last time, and I somehow ended up in Scott's backyard while you were about a mile out from where we started."
Jordan brought up their locked hands and kissed the back of hers. "Today's the day. I know it."
"How are you so sure about that?"
"It's just a feeling I have, and it's a good one," he smiled as he finally parked his truck in the middle of the woods.
Together they got out of the truck and walked a little further into the woods. They walked in comfortable silence, with their hands intertwined. Except, Y/N's hand began to get clammy and she was thankful Jordan didn't have werewolf senses to hear how fast her heart was beating out of her chest.
"Honey?" Y/N hummed. "There's nothing to worry about. It's just like all the other times, except you're going to get it right this time."
Her shoulders fell down as she let out yet another deep sigh. She turned around and took both of his hands in hers as she gazed into his soft yet reassuring eyes. "We'll see."
He chuckled as he pulled out a black blindfold from his back pocket. "You ready?"
"No, but let's get this over with already." She turned around, giving him her back as he tied the blindfold around her head and double-checked her eyes were covered. He waved his hand in front of her face, making sure she couldn't see. "I can't see what you're doing, but I can hear you flapping your arm or something."

Jordan chuckled. "Close enough, but you can't see me, right?"
"Nope," she popped the 'p' with her lips.
How many fingers am I holding up?" He raised 3 fingers up in front of her covered eyes.
"2?"
"Wrong. I can't tell if you're lying or not, but let's get started. Phone?"
She pulled out her phone from her back pocket and handed it over to Jordan. Jordan quickly unlocked her phone and went to his contact info. He hit the edit button and changed his ringtone. A different melody began to play. "Hear that ringtone?"
"Yup!"
"Okay, remember not to remove the blindfolds until you hear this ringtone. Got it?" She nodded. "Now... you're favorite part of this training."
Her lips formed a devilish smirk as Jordan took a step closer to her. Her hands reached out and immediately touched his broad chest. She leaned in and took in his scent, taking in the smell of his body wash and cologne. She slowly moved up, her nose moving along the curve of his neck before reaching his jaw line. Her hands cupped his cheeks and pulled him in for a kiss.
Jordan smiled into the kiss before he pulled back. "That's not part of the training."
Although she couldn't see him, she could tell by the sound of his voice he was grinning. She smiled back at him, "I know but any excuse to kiss my amazing boyfriend."
"Well then," Jordan pulled her in, his hands resting firmly on her hips and captured her lips for a deep and passionate kiss.
"What was that for?"
"Any excuse to kiss my girlfriend," he teased back. "Okay, remember the drill?"
"Yes, don't remove the blindfold until you call me."
"You got this, honey," he kissed her forehead before he left her standing in the middle of the woods.
While Jordan went to hide, Y/N was trying to be as positive as he had been for her. He had faith in her that today would be the day she would find him using her werewolf senses.
"You've got this," she whispered to herself. "Just follow the cool water body soap and the musky yet sexy cologne trail... and you'll be fine."

Her phone beeped, signaling a new text message, but it wasn't the signal she was waiting for. She ignored the text message and waited as she fiddled with her fingers, silently praying it'll work. With her enhance hearing, she could hear a bird chirping in a tree, and the water streaming down the river about a mile out. She no longer heard his steady heartbeat, which meant he had already gotten far from her.
"Remember what Jordan said, use all your senses: sight, hearing, and smell." She reminded herself what Jordan had told her during their first session about two months ago.
The familiar ringtone blared and vibrated in her back pocket. She quickly removed the blindfold and answered the phone. "Got it. See you soon." She hung up quickly and placed it back in her pocket.
She closed her eyes and inhaled deeply, instantly picking up his scent. She followed it until she reached the river. She had lost his scent with the smell of murky water and wood from the forest with the light breeze. She looked around, hoping to find any clues that would tell her which direction Jordan might have taken off in after reaching the river.
"Y/N!"
Y/N's head snapped towards the direction of Jordan's yelling. Although it sounded loud with her werewolf hearing, she knew he was still a good distance from her. If anything, he probably saw on his phone where she was located and decided to help her out a little. After the second time they did this training, Jordan decided to track her phone during this exercise to get a general idea of where she was going and if she ever got close to him.
She took off running towards a random direction, forgetting the scent she had lost by the river. She saw a trail and took it, trusting her gut instinct. As she followed the trail into the woods, his scent reached her nose, causing her to immediately stop in her tracks and close her eyes. She focused hard, catching the same body soap and cologne scent. Except, she heard something she had never heard before during any of her training sessions, a heartbeat. More specifically, Jordan's heartbeat. She was close.
Her eyes flew wide open realizing this is the closest she had ever had to finding him. She quickly scanned her surroundings, checking for any clues where he might have gone. "Where is he?" She whispered to herself.
She saw a small gap between a small section of trees huddled close together. Thinking maybe he might have gone through there, she jogged towards it. As she got closer, his scent lessened.
"He couldn't have gone this way," she mumbled to herself as she thought about walking back towards his scent and heartbeat. She walked back and stood in front of a tree. She leaned in and inhaled the scent coming from the tree. "Bingo.... but that doesn't make any sense," she realized as Jordan's scent was on the tree but he was nowhere to be found.
She turned around and looked at the sight in front of her. The woods were deserted and she was the only one there, but his scent was so strong and his heartbeat was loud from where she was standing.
"What if he's not on the ground.... what if," she looked up and saw Jordan sitting on one of the thick branches with a smirk on his face.
"You found me."
She jumped up and down excitedly as she squealed with joy and clapped her hands together. She did a little happy dance, in which Jordan couldn't help but laugh and shake his head as he climbed back down to the ground.
"I can't believe it!" She wrapped her arms around his neck, immediately kissing him.
Jordan's hands rested firmly on her waist as he kissed her back instantly. His grip tightened before wrapping his arms around her, pulling her in close and spinning her around. He pulled back and rested his forehead against hers, "I knew you would."
"I don't know what I'd do without you," she smiled at him, her eyes gazing into his.
"You'd never have to find out because I'm going to be with you every step of the way. I love you, Y/N," he promised as he looked at her with so much adoration.
"I love you, too, Jordan," She let out a content sigh before leaning in once more for another kiss. deputy parrish
