My heart was hammering, something that hasn't happened in a long time. I could feel Max's hot breath on my arm as his heart was going so fast I'm sure it was vibrating my body.
Scott began leaving, motioning for the rest of the pack to follow. I watch as Liam shoots me a threatening growl and Kira's fire spirit fires up as she glares at me, sheathing her sword.
I clung to Max tightly, resting my chin slightly on his curly brown hair.
"Dispose of him." Void Stiles commands me, snapping his fingers towards the back door.
I yank Max to his feet, backing slowly out the room, keeping my arms around his neck.
As soon as I had slammed the door shut behind me I let go of him. "I'm sorry." I hush, running my hand through his brown locks and checking his neck for any bruises I might have left.
"I'm so sorry Max." I whisper and he catches his hands in mine. "It's okay. You did what you had too." He says, wiping away a tear that had fell down my cheek.
I leaned in and connected out lips, feeling the rush of power as I take away Max's pain. I don't break our kiss even when I had drained every last bit of pain from him I could.
I hear shouting in the distance but neither of us break. I wrap my arms around Max's neck holding him close.
The door behind me burst opened as I heard the loud shout of horror, "MAX!"
Max was ripped away from me, slammed into the brick wall, Void Stiles with his hand around his throat. "Max!" I saw Scott's glowing red eyes shine as he ran closer.
"Stop it!" I screamed, my voice so loud and powerful that Void Stiles head snapped back. I grabbed him by the shoulder and threw him off Max, hearing his back crack off the door.
"Dad stop! Don't touch her!" Max shouted, shielding me against the loud snarls coming out of his father's fanged mouth.
Max hand slipped in with mines, locking our fingers as Void Stiles got back to his feet.
I squeezed his hand tightly as both our parents advance
