《empathy》Prologue
Advertisement
Forks. Small, detestable town.
Everybody knows everybody. Everybody knows everything. Everybody talks. And everybody judges.
But at the same time, nobody knows anything. Nobody sees the obvious. And nobody actually really cares unless it is worth the gossip.
That was only one of the dozens of reasons for Anastasia to loathe the place she grew up.
Every inhabitant knew when her mother died and every single one of them made sure to show their condolence. But nobody cared enough to show their sympathy further than that.
Anastasia was four at the time her mother died and Anastasia was five when she first felt the sting left by her father's fist. She was eight when she first skipped school and she was nine when she first ran away and didn't come back until Chiel Swan found her residing under a bridge and brought her home. But she didn't really learn out of her mistake as she was gone again just two days later.
Not that anyone bothered to scrutinize the reason behind her will to sleep on the streets rather than her comfortable bed. No, her worried father and her inability to feel any remorse for her action were enough for them to characterize her as a simple trouble maker.
But Anastasia did learn out of that. She learnt that people seeing you as an incendiary doesn't get you very far but at the same time, it gets you as far as you want.
People will not pay much attention when you do something wrong because it is what they expect from you but they also pay the closest of attention because they do not want you to cause trouble. It's weird, really. But it got Anastasia to think her actions through... as well as she could. She has always had trouble not acting impulsively; one of the things to rile her father up the most. The words just fell off her mouth before she thought them through.

Anastasia was twelve when she first broke into her teacher's home to get the answers to a test she was supposed to write the next day, somehow managing not to get caught while doing so and she was twelve when she first stole out of a supermarket.
She was fifteen when she got in her first fight and sixteen when she learnt how to throw knives, which ended up with one of them in her father's shoulder. Not that she cared much, she just... couldn't.
And Anastasia was seventeen when she met the Cullens. And Hales. She was seventeen when she found out just how oblivious this despicable town actually is.

Hey,
I hope you liked the prologue and actually got a little intrigued by the story
- maybe even intrigued enough to read further?
If you guys have any notes, I would be delighted, if you left a comment.
And, if you have any wishes, you are free to comment on them as well; I am always open for new ideas to make my story more interesting for you if I think it would fit the plot I have in mind so far.

Sorcery in Boston
The timid daughter of some of the greatest spellcasters ever to have lived has found herself in another world, courtesy of magic gone awry. In Boston, Massachusetts, in the year 1935, she finds some kind souls in a hard era. In the heart of the Great Depression, as war looms around the corner, she seeks to find her place, and must come to terms with both who she is and what she truly desires. Author's Notes: Release Note: I recently realized what the hold up is. My current mental state is not compatible with the planned ending. If I wrote the ending according to what currently feels right, it will be a wretched, cruel ending that feels monstrously unfair and invalidates the work of the various characters... because that's how my life feels at the moment. The planned ending is coming out hollow and awkward, no matter how I write it, and so I've been bashing my head. I will finish it, once I manage to either brute force something decent out, or once my head gets screwed on straight. Audience: This story is not for young children - it contains some profanity, sexual content, violence, gore, and significant adult themes. Most of these are handled delicately enough not to upset teens or adults (hopefully), hence the lack of relevant tags, but it is nonetheless unsuitable for youth. It's fairly slow paced, and focused on the development of very human, very flawed individuals. Length / Completion Estimates: The outline currently involves two books. Book 1 is expected to be done with Chapter 43. It'll probably be completely finished by sometime in March of this year. I expect to move on to the far-more-lighthearted Of Gods and Dungeons (currently in progress / on hiatus). Afterwards, I may decide to redo Book 1, or write Book 2, or actually start sharing the story most dear to me, that I've been working on for several years now. Draft 1: Please be aware that this is first draft material. I do intend to come back to do a second draft after the story is complete. If anyone notices any issues whatsoever with the story, please let me know (pm, etc) so that I can improve the second draft. Writer's Pledge: I've taken the Writer's Pledge, meaning I'm commiting to completing this story. I'm a proud member of WriTE, a group dedicated to finishing stories. It will be done! Behind the Scenes notes: This picture was commissioned from an inked artist by the name of DanP. Up until the time of the protagonist's arrival, history has proceeded as before. Some places and characters have been borrowed from wikipedia entries of interesting figures from the time. I will make note in the chapter comments when such things come up. Naturally, I've taken a great deal of liberty with them. In interest of respecting individuals, I've either attempted to portray them as accurately as possible, or modified them sufficiently enough that they're simply an inspiration, instead of a real portrayal. I've attempted to be as accurate to the era as possible, but I'm not a historian. If you're aware of inaccuracies, please, bring them to my attention so that I can correct them.

The Joy of Evolution
"Alright, so I have this idea, a completely original one by the way, never done before." I say. "Alright, lets hear it." You reply happily. "What if you got trapped in the body of a tentacle monster that looks like a virus in a world that is like a videogame, with skills and... whoops slip of the tendril there, what I meant to say is Mutations and Levels as you evolve your way up from being that lowly creature into a slightly better lowly creature, all the while, an evil devil person watches over you for entertainment purposes." I say making weird hand gestures across the table. "Oh and that main character used to be a human male and uses its past experience as one to survive in this new world as a little mass of flesh." I pull out a little ball with suction cup tendrils and show you. "So, what do you think?" " I dont know seems, a little sameish, I think Im gonna go." You say as you start to get up from your worn but still plush velvet chair. "Wait" I sigh, " I didnt want to do this but you leave me no choice, I promise you an extremely diverse harem..." The door closes as you leave. "They'll come back." I say hopeful. Cover: https://phil.cdc.gov/Details.aspx?pid=21073

Sequel to a different kind of Wolf.Jamie, Nik and Stefan are on a road trip trying to find a pack and make some hybrids. Things don't go as expected and some new challenges, and feelings come up. Jamie see's Nik not Klaus as most do and over the course of their summer road trip they become closer than ever before. With new faces, and old friends what could possibly go wrong?---Obviously I don't own The Vampire Diaries or its characters and all rights go to the creators but I do own Jamie and the plot line so, kindly don't steal my ideas. Word count around 22,000. I know it's a little shorter than the first book but I am working on a third which will hopefully be longer.

SSBU Headcanons
At times I ponder about the characters featured in the Smash Ultimate. series. I think about their relationships between one another and how they would interact with others in certain situations. I also think about scenarios about how they would treat their love interest.-This is a book about general headcanons about the characters and XReader moments, this book is probably going to be updated daily!
