"So what are you getting Luke for his eighteenth birthday? I bet he would really love a party with a bunch of beer and good looking strippers."

I chuckled at Robert's suggestion and continued to run on the treadmill. Being in bed for almost a month, without moving, caused a lot of damage on my body strength.

It felt like heaven to be able to stretch my legs and fill my lungs once more with pure oxygen.

I will admit being betrayed by James hurt, but I felt no guilt when I wrapped my hands around his neck and snapped his head right off body.

He deserved that, plus more for trying to kill me and threatening to take my place along with my white haired boy. Now his head is nicely displayed as a trophy in my room.

"Alex?"

I shook away my thoughts and came back to reality with Robert's annoyed voice. He lifted weights across from me and was sweaty just like me.

In the month that I was in a coma, Robert has changed his hair and now had it combed back showing off his eyes more. He seemed to be happier as well and I think Angel had something to do with it.

"Sorry. I zoned out." I said honestly and stopped the treadmill. "But, I am definitely not going with your ideas. I'll think of something special to get him."

Robert nodded and put down the heavy weight. He wiped his forehead with the bottom of his shirt and was now comfortable exposing his body.

Realization that it was James that made him uncomfortable caused me to frown. Even he knew there was something off about him.

"Soo I have something important to tell you..." Robert stated nervously and avoided eye contact with me.

"What is it?" I questioned, wondering why he was be nervous.

I approached him and stood not far from him as I waited patiently for his reply.

Robert looked almost surprised that I was giving him my full attention.

"Well..the truth is..Angel and I are actually dating!" he confessed and I waited for some humor from him, but got none.

Was he kidding? Was that his surprising confession? I wanted to laugh so hard but I held it in and just had to get some humor out of this.

"Oh. I don't know what to tell you, Robert. I mean this is all so shocking and so sudden. I mean relationships are like forever?" I teased with a disappointed face.

Robert searched my face desperately for any sign of teasing but I kept my face serious. He looked like he was ready to throw up and I knew why.

Robert was raised in a rough home causing him to build walls around himself. The day Luke got attacked in my room was the day Robert confessed to me about the things he did to Luke.

I wanted to rip the boy apart but I understood why he did it. He was broken and needed to be fixed. That's where Angel came in. He fixed Robert like I have fixed my white haired boy.

This was why Robert was so embarrassed and shy to show his true feelings. He thought it was wrong but now he was learning it really wasn't.

"I u-uh..I'm sorry.." Robert apologized with a frown.

That's when I laughed and embraced him in a hug. "There is no need to apologize, Rob. We all know you and Angel are dating! I'm happy you're finally admitting it." I said.

I felt Rob relax in my hold and hug me back. I heard his muffled thanks and smiled wider.

"Alexand-"

Robert and I separated from eachother and I turned around to see Luke by the door. He smiled at us and soon Angel came through the door as well.

I walked towards Luke and leaned down to kiss him. He tilted his head back and met me halfway. His beautiful eyes now glowed and I loved it.

"I missed you." I whisperd by his ear and nibbled gently on it.

"I was only gone for an hour." Luke replied with the cutest giggle.

I caressed his cheek and couldn't help but biting his bottom lip. He whimpered in my mouth and it just turned me on even more.

"Not trying to interupt anything but Luke and I came her to tell you guys that Nana has lunch ready for us." Angel barged in, causing Luke to look down at the ground with a blush.

"Thanks, Angel." I sarcastically said with a smile.

We left the gym room soon after and went downstairs for lunch but not before taking a quick shower. I ran my hand through my damp hair and sat next to Luke.

Maids brought out our food and soon we all started to eat the delicious pasta. Angel and Robert shared kisses a couple of times without being embarrassed about it. I was happy they now felt comfortable with their relationship.

Luke smiled at their actions and continued to eat his food. I grabbed his hand and held it as I ate as well. I glanced back at him and saw his light blush.

Why was he so adorable?

The next day I drove to town to look for Luke's birthday gift. I went to a variety of stores but didn't find anytning Luke would be amazed with.

I visited a small shop and inspected the items displayed on the fancy looking shelves. I picked up a stuffed animal that had a pink bow on it. It was very cute but I wanted something better.

I left the small shop and was about to give up until I passed by a pet shop. I entered the store and went through the aisle of puppies that were behind a glass.

I looked at each one and knew a puppy would make Luke smile. I searched for the right one and thought about getting a male or female.

"Hello, can I help you with something today?" a high pitched female voice suddenly said beside me.

I paused my thinking and glanced at the petite girl beside me. She smiled kindly as her eyes hid behind thick glasses.

"Well, I'm looking for a puppy but I'm having trouble deciding which one." I informed the girl, whose named tag read as Emily.

"Hmm.. I can definitely help you with that! Since you looke very dominant and strong I would recommend a pitbull or rotteweiler. " Emily stated and tried to hide her blushing face.

"The dog is not for me. It's for my boyfriend. " I replied and watched her face fall a little.

"Oh, then I know exactly the type of dog. Come with me." Emily said and started walking to the back of the shop.

I passed by some colorful birds and menacing looking snakes. Maybe I could get a snake next time I come back.

"Here they are. They just arrived from a different pet shelter and are very friendly even though they were abused." Emily informed me with a frown and petted a small furry puppy.

I looked down at the three poodles and noticed they did have signs that they were abused. However, that didn't stop them from trying to get me to pet them.

"So these two bigger ones are males and the smallest one is female. They are siblings so we like to keep them together or else they won't eat or sleep." Emily said and handed me the female poodle.

I held her in my arms and smiled at how soft her fur was. Her brothers started to cry when they thought I was taking her away.

That's when I knew I couldn't separate them.

"I'll take all three." I told Emily and handed her the dog back. She stood suprised and had a confused stare.

"Uhm. Each poodle is $1,900. Are you sure?" she questioned, like I had no idea how much each dog was worth.

"I didn't ask how much they were. Now do your job and give me my dogs." I replied and left to go to the front desk to pay for them.

I waited patiently as Emily got the puppies ready for me. I watched as children played with some of the smaller puppies in display.

No doubt in my mind that I wanted children with Luke. But for now, puppies will be the first step.

"Here you go, sir. Thank you for your purchase today." the slim cashier told me as she handed me the puppies in a suitcase like bag.

I grabbed them and left the store with a satisfied smile. Now I couldn't wait for Luke's birthday party.

The day finally arrived and I was excited to see Luke smile at his surprise party. Angel and Robert distracted Luke by taking him out to eat for his birthday while Nana and I put everything in place.

It wasn't a big party but I did invite Charlie over so I knew that would make Luke happy.

Once the house was filled with balloons and decorations, I waited patiently for the boys to come back. I checked up on the puppies one last time and saw them sleeping peacefully by eachother, with colorful ribbons wrapped around their necks.

I heard a car park outside and knew they finally came back. Everybody got in place as the door opened. We yelled 'surprise' once Luke stepped inside. He flinched at the sudden yelling but smiled when he realized it was a surprise party.

I approached him and kiss his cheek as he looked around in complete awe. "You did all this for me?" he questioned.

"Why wouldn't I? It is your birthday afterall, babe. So happy birthday!" I replied and patted his butt causing him to blush.

"T-Thank you. I really love it." he stuttered out with a sincere smile and pressed his lips softly against mine.

I kissed him harder and was about to part his lips until I heard Charlie calling out for Luke.

"Charlie?!" Luke exclaimed with the brightest eyes ever at seeing the young boy. They both ran into each others arms like they haven't seen one another in years.

"Happy Birthday, Luke! I bought you a gift with my own money!" Charlie said proudly and handed him a gift box that was obviously wrapped by a child.

Luke accepted it with warm arms and looked at it with the kindest eyes, like he didn't notice the poorly wrapped gift.

Yup, defintely having kids with him.

Charlie soon left to get some candy from the table I had set up and I was about to pull Luke towards me but he was taken away by other people who wanted to say happy birthday.

I watched with crossed arms as Luke gave me an apologizing smile and got lost among the crowd. I didn't mind it because I knew I could easily steal him back so I let him enjoy his fun.

About four hours later, I finally got Luke away from the crowd and took him upstairs to where I had his own surprise.

I made him close his eyes as we entered the dark room. I prayed the puppies wouldn't start crying or barking so I rushed to them and made Luke stand in front of the bed I had them in.

"Can I open my eyes now?" Luke asked and almost fell on top of the puppies but I caught him before he did.

I held him close to my chest and kissed his neck a couple of times. "Open your eyes." I whispered and smiled when I heard his low gasp.

He immediately ran to them and I was amazed that he was able to pick all three of them up in his arms. He cuddled them like a soft pillows and the puppies right away loved Luke back.

The smile he had was so beautiful it made me want to have it painted.

"I love them so much! Thank you, Alexander!" Luke exclaimed and kissed me several times before returning back to his puppies.

Nothing in this world made me happier than seeing my white haired boy smiling at me with so much love in his eyes...

I smiled as I watched Luke creep through the dark alleyway in search for his victim. To say I was proud was nothing to what I felt for my boy at the moment.

He was now just like me and even hunted better than I ever did on my first years. His white hair could still be seen through the dark alley way and his beautiful face still made me crave him more than ever.

Luke was truly flawless and he was all mine now.

I had my doubts about turning him but I had no regrets when I did. He was accepting this life style better than I expected him to.

Sometimes he would cry after he killed somebody but that was normal. He was still human deep inside so he always wore his heart on his sleeve.

I was glad that atleast now if somebody wanted to hurt Luke he could easily defend himself.

The fact that he was hunting in the exact place I saved him in made me see how things could quickly change with one encounter.

Luke ran back to me and had fresh tears in his eyes with a bloody smudged mouth. I leaned against the wall and knew he needed some comfort after killing somebody.

I opened my arms for him and was surprised to feel how tight he was holding on to me, like he was scared I would leave.

"Luke, is something wrong?" I gently questioned and ran my fingers through his white soft hair. I heard him sniffle but that was it.

I pushed him back and made him look at me. He looked down at the floor instead and held something in his hand.

I took the item from him and realized it was a blanket? What was he doing with a blanket? It looked old and torn.

"Babe, what are you doing with this?" I asked and just wanted to throw the dirty blanket far away from me.

"I-It was the o-one I bought when you saved me from the fight. I remember being so happy because I was finally able to sleep in something warm now here I am.." Luke confessed then it all hit me like a flash.

I saw him carrying something when I followed him through this alleyway and saved him from the fight he bet money in.

This worn out thing reminded Luke of his past and now he was seeing the reality of his new life. My boy was more than happy and I was glad I was the one who caused him that happiness.

He deserved it.

I wiped Luke's wet cheeks and placed a kiss on each one. "You are truly amazing." I told him honestly.

His frown soon vanished and he gave me a small smile. He looked at me with bright eyes that showed love and admiration.

"Thank you for everything, Alexander. I know I don't say it much but you don't understand how many times I walked through this alleyway crying and alone...My stomach would growl in pain and my body shivered in the cold wind that I got so accustom to. Why did you choose such a broken person out of all the healthy people in this world, Alexander? Did you feel sympathy for me? ..." Luke cried in front of me and looked around not understanding why I had chosen him.

I stopped his sobbing by kissing his wet lips with so much force he stumbled back a little, but I held him close to me with my hand on his hip.

I parted his lips with my tongue and showed him how much I loved him. He kissed me back and his crying soon stopped.

I pushed him back a little and started to take off my shirt. Luke watched my every move and looked confused for awhile until my top half was completely exposed.

I reached for his hand and made him place it over my heart. He stared with bright eyes and was about to question me until I removed his hand away from my chest.

His eyes widened and fresh tears ran down his cheeks. He covered his mouth with his free hand and I couldn't help but get teary eyed as well.

"I love you, Luke. You are a part of me now and I will forever hold you in my heart whether you like it or not. I will die and kill for you if I need to. So please don't feel so lost and insecure about yourself." I confessed to my pretty white haired boy and felt tears blur my vision.

Luke sobbed into my arms and placed his head right where I got his name tattooed. The thing about the tattoo was that it would only appear when Luke touched it.

So now my pretty white haired boy was in my heart where he belonged and would always be in until I took my last breath ...
