《Lost and Insecure (ManxBoy)》Chapter 24

"Sir, the boys just broke another table downstairs... this time your mother's personally hand made one.."
I looked up from the pile of papers on my desk and felt my jaw tense at hearing the maids information. I ran my fingers through my hair to calm the anger building inside of me, but it didn't help.
It's been only three weeks since Charlie's been living with us and it seems he has gotten an unhealthy attachment to Luke.
Wherever he goes Charlie follows him like a lost puppy. I really didn't mind it the first couple of days, but now both of them were misbehaving without caring about the consequences.
They know I would never hurt them physically and that really annoys me because there is no way of controlling their behavior.
The only good thing is that I finally found the pack Charlie belongs to so this sudden torment of my house will soon be over.
I stood up from my chair and headed downstairs to see the damage done to my mother's table. I knew I was close when I heard Charlie's giggle followed by Luke's.
A frown set firmly on my face once I finally saw the once antique wooden table missing two of it's legs. I placed my hands on my hips and just stared at the once meaningful table.
I remember when my mother begged my father for the table so he eventually agreed and had her design it. It was probably the only nice thing my father has ever done, but now the once nice gesture was gone..
"Luke!" I yelled out and waited patiently for the white haired boy.
I breathed in and out deeply and knew I had to control my temper before it got the best of me.
"Sir, the boys ran outside to the garden.." a maid told me and pointed to the open back door.
I quickly went in their direction and saw them hiding behind an apple tree. I could see them laughing like it was the funniest thing in the world.
Unlike other times, I was seriously upset now. They were breaking my family antiques for the fun of it and were taking advantage of my kindess.
They have obviously forgotten who they were dealing with.
I approached them and crossed my arms once they looked up at me. Luke's smile faded once he understood I was serious, but Charlie continued to laugh with the missing leg of my mother's table in his hand.
"Uh..we're sorry?.." Luke tried to apologize but I quickly shut him up and roughly grabbed him off the ground.
"Hey, leave him alone!" Charlie yelled and had the nerve to try and hit me with the table leg. I caught it mid air and threw it across the field.
The backside of my hand soon landed on his face causing him to fall to the ground with a whine.
Luke got out of my hold and pushed me away before kneeling down and trying to help Charlie. I wasted no time to grab his arm again and drag him away from the boy.
"Alexander, let me go!!" Luke protested in my hold as I dragged him back to the house.
"Charlie's outside." I told Nana, who gave me a worried expression before I walked upstairs with Luke kicking and punching me.
I locked us in my room and dropped him on the bed. The hatred in his eyes was clear as ever, but it didn't compare to the anger I had at the moment.
"How can you hit Charlie?! He's just a child!" Luke yelled at me with a pointed finger. He stood up beside the bed but I pushed him back down on it before he got away.

"I warned you already that I was getting tired of your fucking disrespectful behavior and now both of you are playing me as a fool so I have no regret hitting him!" I yelled back.
Luke stayed silent then tried to get by me again. I wrapped my arm around his waist and made him stand in front of me. "We're not done talking." I told him seriously.
"I'm done talking to you! Now let me go, I need to find Charlie!" he groaned back and ended up slapping me.
I don't know what came over me but next thing I knew Luke was laying on the bed with his hand over his cheek and tears forming in his beautiful green eyes.
Did I just hit him?...
"Luke..." I breathed out, shocked at my own actions. My pretty white haired boy quickly got up from the bed and left the room, but not before hearing his broken sob.
I tugged harshly on my hair and yelled out in frustration. What the hell was I doing? I promised to never hurt Luke and here I am with the guilt eating me alive for doing so...
"Alexander?.."
I sat on the couch and ignored Nana's calm voice from across the room. I heard her step inside and soon was sitting right beside me.
I buried my face in my hands and almost felt like crying when Nana placed her arm on my shoulder. I felt pathetic..
Growing up I have always personally witnessed my father abusing my mother and I never understood why he did it.
But as I got older I realized he was a cruel vampire who could be the devil himself, and I knew right then I didn't want to be like him...
"Alexander you're not like your father.." were the simple words that finally broke down my walls.
"I didn't mean to hit him Nana!...I swear..." I cried out for her to believe me and felt so defeated that the last part of the sentence came out in a low whisper.
A silence fell between Nana and I as she continued to rub my back in a soothing way. The way I felt inside was the worse thing in the world..
No matter how much Nana or anybody else comforted me, I wasn't going to be happy until my pretty white haired boy forgave me..
"No need to beat yourself over it, Alexander. It's in your blood to be aggressive and I'm actually surprised you lasted so long without losing your temper. What you have done for Luke is just unbelievable. Never in my fifty years did I witness a vampire, like your kind, be so generous and loving towards a human boy. Knowing exactly who your father was and the things he taught you.." Nana confessed in amazement.
"You made a mistake my dear boy and I can see you truly regret hurting Luke, just by all the hurt radiating off your eyes. Not even when your own mother died did you look so upset, and that right there shows me that you truly love Luke and would never do anything to hurt him." Nana continued to tell me with a warm smile.
Her words always affected me in some type of way and actually made the heavy weight off my shoulders diseapper.
I could never express how grateful I was for having Nana in my life.
"Thank you, Nana.." I told her sincerely and embraced her in a hug.
She was a bit shocked at my sudden loving affection, but I felt her arms wrap around me in an instant. "You're such a sweet soul, Alexander..don't let your past determine your future. Luke is in Angel and Robert's room with Charlie" I heard her whisper.

I pulled away from the embrace and wiped my eyes before I rushed out the room. I heard Nana lightly laugh as I almost tripped on a shoe.
I made my way downstairs and walked towards the room that belonged to Angel and Robert. The door was slighty open but I still wanted to knock and not barge in.
After getting no response and waiting a couple of minutes, I opened the door.
I looked into the room and saw Luke and Charlie laying down on the bed. I stepped inside and expected to see Angel or Robert, but it seems they weren't here. They must of gone out.
I closed the door behind me and approached the two innocent boys who seemed to be asleep. I hated the fact that Luke had a frown on his face as he did so, while Charlie just snored lightly against him.
I swept some loose white strands from Luke's face, causing him to open his glossy eyes. "Can we talk?" I questioned softly once he realized it was me.
He looked down at Charlie for a second then carefully got up from the bed. He slowly walked towards the bathroom, making me follow close behind. I closed the door once I was inside and made a disgusted face when I saw how dirty the bathroom was.
The maids better have an explanation as to why they haven't been cleaning this place.
"Ale-"
"Just listen to what I have to say first, Luke. I promise I never meant to lay a single hand on you. I don't even remember doing it and now the guilt and pain is eating me alive so please forgive me my pretty white haired boy..." I practically begged the frowning boy in front of me.
Luke stared down at the floor and stayed quiet for a bit until I stood in front of him and gently grabbed his chin, making him look up at me.
"I love you..." I whispered right above his lips before I closed the gap between us. I pressed my mouth against his and felt him place his hand on the side of my hip.
"I love you too, Alexander...That's why I forgive you.." Luke told me seriously and pecked my lips one more time before hugging me.
I wrapped my arms around him and kissed the top of his head. "I'm sorry for damaging your mother's favorite table...I didn't know it was special to you until Nana told me. So in a way I deserved the slap." Luke stated.
I pulled away from him and caressed his cheek. "Listen to me clearly, Luke. No matter how angry you make me or the damage you do to my house, I should never even think of laying a hand on you. I made a mistake and I promise I will never make it again...you're too precious and important to me." I confessed to the now blushing boy.
"My job is to protect you and that's what I'll do until I take my last breath, Luke. " I stated.
"R-Really?.." he asked with glossy eyes, having tears ready to fall.
I wiped away his single tear that finally cascaded down his cheek and smiled softly at my boy. "I'm a man of my word, babe." I promised.
Luke nodded as I pressed a deep kiss on his wet cheek. The door suddenly opened and a sleepy Charlie stepped in.
"Is he hurting you, Luke?" he silenty questioned and looked at Luke and I.
"No, he isn't. He actually has something to tell you." Luke replied with crossed arms and glanced at me.
I do? ...oh he means an apology..
"I don't listen to anybody but I'll do it this one time." I told Luke seriously before turning back to Charlie.
"I'm sorry for hitting you, Charlie." I stated and actually meant it..
Charlie smiled and suddenly hugged my torso. I really hated all the loving affection in general but nobody had to know about it.
"It's okay! I'm sorry I tried to hit you.." Charlie said, frowning at the last part.
"Be glad I only slapped you, I doubt you want to know what I would of done if you were a stranger.." I informed and lightly ran my fingers through his brown hair.
His smile widened at my action and nodded in understanding.
"Now on another topic... I finally found your family, pup."
^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*
...
Saying goodbye to Charlie was the hardest thing for Luke to do. He cried and Charlie did the same as they hugged farewell.
Charlie's parents were more than surprised to know I rescued their son, considering I was a vampire and it wasn't in our nature to help..
It was a touching moment when Charlie's mother embraced me and sobbed in my chest at finally having her only child back.
Charlie's father said I was 'forever in his debt' and I was glad I be-friended a werewolve. It's always a wise thing to keep them as friends and not enemies.
They were strong human beings who formed into even stronger animals.
Luke and I at the moment were watching a movie in bed as we ate some cheeseburgers I had ordered especially for my white haired boy.
He munched happily on the food and cuddled beside me as he did. I rested my head back on the pillow and had my right arm around his waist in a secure way.
"Alexander, do you think we can visit Charlie some day?"
I wiped my mouth and nodded but Luke was staring at the the movie and didn't see it. "Of course, I think he would hate us if we didn't." I replied.
Luke hummed in content and took a bite out of his almost finished burger. I leaned down a kissed the top of his messy white hair.
Half an hour later, we had full stomachs and sleepy eyes as the movie finally ended. Luke was practically on top of me now and his head rested nicely on my chest while his leg was on top of my own.
"I'm sleepy..." he yawned out and pressed his body closer to mine.
He tilted his head back and looked at me with a lazy smile. I pecked his soft lips and chuckled when I suddenly felt the tip of his tongue on my bottom lip.
"S-Sorry." my pretty white haired boy shyly stuttered out as his pale cheeks turned rosy red.
"If you wanted more than a kiss then all you had to do was ask." I told him with a smirk and leaned down to kiss his wanting lips again.
Luke placed his hand on the side of my neck then tugged at the end of my hair as he parted his lips to let my tongue slide inside his warm mouth. I sucked gently on his bottom lip and heard his little whimper.
My hand went under his thin shirt and ran up his stomach and down to his lower hip. We kept the moment sweet and short so we pulled away and just shared loving kisses.
"Go to sleep, Luke. I promise I'll be right by your side when you wake up." I whispered by his ear and nibbled gently on it, causing a giggle to escape from him.
"I love you, Alexander.." Luke replied softly by my lips with such beautiful eyes it made me weak for a second.
Hearing those words come out of his mouth makes me want to give my pretty white haired boy the world..
I ran my fingers through his hair until I heard his steady breathing, a sign he fell asleep but I knew he really wasn't. I still enjoyed such a calm feeling being beside Luke and enjoying his loving affection.
I coverd both of our bodies with the warm blanket and pressed another kiss on Luke's forehead before I turned off the lamp beside us.
Now being in the complete dark, I closed my eyes and took a deep realxing breath. I lightly caressed Luke's hipbone and felt his goosebumps as my hand went under his waistband.
I kept my hand there and smiled in amusement at his reaction. He was definitely not sleeping.
I turned around to face him and wrapped my whole arm around his waist and pressed his body against mine. I deeply kissed his parted lips several times until I was sure his mouth would bruise again.
Luke laughed and snuggled his head in my neck while he wrapped his own hand around me.
"I love you Luke." I whispered by his ear and smiled when he tightened his hold on me and pressed a small kiss on my neck in return.
I fell asleep next to my pretty white haired boy and I realized how beautiful it felt to love and be loved...
