《Lost and Insecure (ManxBoy)》Chapter 6

I landed hard on the ground as I jumped out the window. My knee scraped badly against the ground and I think I twisted my ankle but I couldn't stop.
I had to keep going before I got caught.
It was dark outside and the wind was blowing harshly against me. I inhaled the chilly air that blew in my face and felt my nose sting a little from it.
I glanced up at the luxury house one last time then quickly started to make my way through the long landscape. Without the light from the sun everything seemed so creepy.
It almost made me want to go back inside.
But, I knew I couldn't stay here locked away in a room with a vampire.
Alexander never did anything to hurt me since I've been here with him for the last couple of days. He's given me everything I ever wanted but that wasn't the problem.
The problem was that he was a blood thirsty vampire and I witnessed it first hand. I snuck out of his room when he went to some meeting and I explored the rest of his expencive home.
The images of of humans being tied up in chains and some hanging from the wall were still clear in my head.
I never expected to find a secret room in the basement. Seeing that dark side of Alexander made me realize that even though he was gentle with me he was still a vampire.
So with that thought in mind, I was limping my way towards a tall gate. I tried to open the door but it was no use.
"Hey!" a husky looking man suddenly yelled as he ran towards me.
In panic I started to climb the gate and bit my lips as my ankle throbbed in pain for putting too much pressure on it.
I landed on the other side with a rough fall but it didn't really hurt as much as it did when I climbed out the window.
I got up and ran as quickly as I could away from the man yelling out for his friends. His eyes glowed a bright yellow and then I understood he was one of them.
With a quick sprint I ran without looking back for almost an hour until I couldn't run anymore.
My heart beat rapidly in my aching chest as I tried to catch my breath. I turned the corner and finally saw the familiar lights from the town.

I ran towards it and was happy to see the bakery and variety of stores I've stolen from. I made my way through the dirty alley way and almost cried with joy when I saw my abandoned building.
I rushed inside my room and threw myself on my old mattress. It wasn't the best but it was mine and it felt so good to be back.
This was my personal space where I could do whatever I pleased without having to ask for permission.
I buried myself in my blanket and just let my body fall into a restless sleep.
Early in the morning I woke up with a content smile at seeing the familiar broken down walls.
I got up and stretched my tensed muscles and realized my ankle was still hurting but yesterday I was too tired to care. I inspected it carefully and felt it was a bit swollen.
Maybe if I don't step on it too much the inflammation will go down?
I really do hope so.
A cold breeze enters the room as I look around at the things I have. I light up a candle and place it near me to ease the harsh December weather.
Alexander's room was always so warm but somehow the rest of his house wasn't. Like if he specifically made it that way just for me..
I shake my thoughts away with a groan and stop myself from thinking about Alexander.
He's the past now. I need to forget about him and just live my life like I did.
But it's hard since I could still feel the way his cold fingers touched me so softly and gently like I would break if he didn't.
And the way he always made sure I ate and was okay before he left. Even the couple of stolen kisses he took from me..
Ugh no.
I ran my fingers through my white hair and tugged hard on the ends. I just need more sleep is all..
So that's what I did all day even though my stomach growled in protest.

...
I searched through the dumpster again and couldn't find anything good. There was only the usual left over foods that we're too spoiled to be eaten.
With an upset stomach, I leaned against the dumpster and regretted betting all my money on the fighting match.
I didn't even win which was the worst part.

"Hey kid, wana earn some money?"
I turned around and was taken back to see a crack head looking at me nervously. He scratched his face and arms like there was actually something crawling on him.
The typical crack head.
"Sorry, but I'm not interested." I declined and started to walk away but the sickly looking man grabbed my arm in protest.
"Wait wait wait wait...it's a simple job. Just uh get some things for me and all this will be yours." he tried to convince and showed me three twenty dollar bills.
His eyes practically begged me to take it as he kept getting closer to me.
"What's the job?" I questioned unsure.
He looked around nervously again then leaned in like he was going to tell me a secret, "Just buy me some drugs, simple as that. A quick exchange." he replied.
I glanced at the money and thought about it for a bit.
The money was the one thing I needed right now to make it on my own so I nodded and took it.
The crack head showed me the person I needed to buy the drugs from and quickly pushed me towards the man before he diseappered behind another building.
I approached the mysterious guy in a black sweater that was standing under a street light.
He glanced up at me as I stood in front of him with the money in my hand. I extended my arm and he did the same as he replaced the money in my hand with a small bag.
As I started to walk back to the thin crack head I saw the guy I robbed the golden chain from. He was standing with his friends in the same corner the crack head was hiding.
I mentally cursed and quickly approached the crack head and threw the drugs at him before I turned in a different direction.
"Hey, isn't that the white haired freak that took your chain?"
That was my cue to start running so that's exactly what I did. Heavy footsteps were heard close behind me as my ankle started to throb in pain.
Why now?!
I tried to turn the corner but I was grabbed before I was able to. I was shoved against a wall and punched in the face in a matter of seconds.
"Where's my chain you freak?!"
Blood slipped out my mouth as I tried to push the guy off of me. In return I received another punch.
"Don't make me ask you again!" the thug continued to yell in my face.
A loud noise was then heard from the other side of the wall. We all turned around to face the sudden interruption.
My eyes widened as I saw Alexander approaching us with his threatening walk and bright eyes.
I used Alexander's interruption to push the thug off of me and make a run for it. In a matter of seconds I heard the screams of agony from the thugs and ran faster knowing Alexander probably killed them.
The abandoned building was so close now that I could feel the comfort of my bed but I was suddenly grabbed by the waist.
I didn't even have to turn around to know it was Alexander.
He wrapped his arms around my own and pressed his chest against my back so I couldn't fight back.
"Why are you running away from me?" he questioned beside my ear.
"Let me go!" I yelled back and tried to kick him off.
He pinned me against the wall and looked at me with his bright eyes. My hands were above my head as he pressed his body against me so we were chest to chest.
I could already feel my body responding to him and I hated it.
"I'm going to put this simple my pretty white haired boy. You are mine and only mine. Understood?" he practically growled in my neck before I felt his hard bite.
I whimpered in his hold and felt the way his sharp fangs broke into my skin. It wasn't as painful as the first time he did it, but I still felt the horrible stinging sensation.
He quickly let go after that and pressed his lips on mine. I tasted my own blood on the tip of his tongue and somehow I felt a wave of pleasure from it.
Alexander then completely released me and gently wiped my lips with his thumb.
I couldn't explain the way it made me feel as he sucked on his thumb right after and never broke eye contact as he did...
