《Lost and Insecure (ManxBoy)》Chapter 4

I woke up with a massive headache and aching body. I tried to open my eyes but they felt heavy with sleep so I turned on my side to get comfortable.

That's when I noticed this wasn't my bed. It was way too soft and comfortable to be the old mattress I always slept in.

I forced my eyes open and saw the unfamiliar room displayed in front of me. I sat up a bit in the bed and looked around in worry.

Where the hell was I?

I noticed I was half naked and had my torso was bandaged. Memories of yesterday then rushed back to my mind like a bolt of lightning.

The handsome stranger had saved me again and kidnapped me before I fell unconscious in his arms.

Was this his house?

I looked around again and took my time to inspect everything carefully. This looked like it was the master bedroom. It was spacious with a large bed in the center and a small couch by the side.

Everything looked so fancy and elegant that I was afraid to touch anything.

"I see your finally awake," an old woman announced as she entered the room with clothes in her hands.

She looked like she was a bit older than fifty and had some grey strands in her black tied up hair. She had a calm face expression as she walked towards me.

I noticed she wore a maid outfit when she stood by the bed. It wasn't the typical maid outfit though. It was a nice faded pink color with small pockets on it.

"Where am I?" I questioned her as I pulled the soft blanket over my exposed body.

She smiled at me but didn't answer my question.

"My name is Nana and I'll be helping you get comfortable here. Now here are some clean clothes so you can take a shower. I'll be downstairs if you need me." was all she said before she turned around and left me alone in the room again.

I looked down at the clothes and picked them up before I got out of bed. I carefully made my way to the bathroom which was across the room.

I locked the door and stared at the expensive looking marble counter. The floor had a warm carpet on it with cursive swirls and the shower looked big enough for more than two people to fit in.

Was I actually going to take a shower here? I feel like I should be trying to escape this place not trying taking a shower.

But then again when was I going to get an opportunity to take a warm shower again?

So I quickly took off my bottoms and placed them on the counter. I tried to figure out the different knobs in the shower for a couple of minutes until the water finally came out warm.

I stepped inside and felt the hot water hit my tense body. It felt so amazing I stood under the showerhead for more than ten minutes.

I then rubbed my face ,that I could still feel bruised, and the rest of my body with soap that smelled like green apples.

I unwrapped the bandage from my body and saw all the dark purple and blue bruises scattering my stomach up to my chest.

After I felt that I was clean enough I shut off the water and stepped out. I grabbed a soft towel hanging from the wall and dried myself off.

I put on the simple clothes that was given to me and couldn't help but notice how comfortable they were.

With a small smile on my face I left the bathroom and stepped back into the barely lit room. The long purple curtain were preventing the light from the sun to enter the room.

My stomach then started to growl at my lack of food so I made my way out of the room. I was anxious to walk around this house alone so I took slow steps as I passed through a hallway with beautiful paintings hanged on the walls.

I walked down the wide stairs and hanged on to the rail as I did so. I stopped once a young girl started to make her way up. She wore the same maid outfit as Nana but didn't look as calm as she did.

I looked down as I passed her hoping to go unnoticed but when I glanced back at her she was already staring at me.

"Hi, uh do you know where Nana is? I can't seem to find her anywhere." she questioned me in a small voice.

Why was she asking me? Did I look like I belonged here?

"No, sorry." I apologized before I rushed by her and started to look for the door.

I needed to leave and quickly.

A sigh of relief hit me when I finally saw the door not too far away. I made my way towards it but was stopped when an arm wrapped around my waist.

"Where are you running off to my pretty white haired boy?" A voice whispered down my neck, causing shivers to run down my spine.

I turned around and faced the handsome stranger.

"W-Who are you?" I stuttered out, completely nervous now that he was in front of me and staring at me with those bright eyes of his.

He was a handsome man and it just made me nervous as hell.

"Alexander and who might you be?" he questioned back, showing no sign of discomfort.

Authority and dominance was clear in his voice and the way he stood tall in front of me.

"You don't need to know who I am. I'm leaving." I told him as I made my way towards the door again.

I stopped when he started to laugh, "I swear I have the strongest urge to just bite into your neck and just kill you." he said.

Bite me? This guy was a complete psychopath.

I need to leave before he ends up killing me like the disgusting hobo he put a knife through.

"You can run but I guarantee that you won't get far." I heard Alexander say with an amused smile.

I glared at him and wasn't sure if he would actually stick with his word. Would he actually try to stop me? but why would he? What did he want from me?

Without second guessing it, I opened the door and made a run for it. I ran as fast as I could down the long path way that lead to what looked like nothing but green landscape.

I won't lie it was beautiful but I had no intention to stay here with this crazy man who wanted to bite me. I turned around and was surprised to see nobody chasing after me.

The guy probably couldn't keep up which was better on my part.

But of course life hated me too much to actually let me get away from a psychopath.

I felt those familiar arms around my waist that tackled me to the ground. I breathed heavily as I tried to get out of his hold. Where the hell did he come from?

As I was about to yell at him to get off I felt a sudden pain on my neck. I felt two sharp stabs go straight through my skin and I had no idea what was happening.

Before I knew it I was on the green grass with Alexander on top of me and his mouth around my neck. He sucked roughly on my neck as I tried my hardest not to cry.

He bit harder on the spot and it hurt so bad tears were already in my eyes. He continued his attack as I finally sobbed into his shoulder like a child.

There was no doubt in my mind now that Alexander was a vampire.

I should of noticed it by his glowing eyes and strength, but I never thought I was ever going to face one.

In the orphanage the older kids would always tell stories about the evil blood suckers that would lurk the night with bright eyes in search for their next victims.

The stories never ended well and now I was going to have to face the same fate.

A couple of minutes later, Alexander removed his mouth from my neck causing me to release another sob at how sensitive my neck had become.

He looked down at me but my face was turned away from him. He lightly grabbed my chin and made me stare at him.

I waited for him to finish me off and just kill me, but instead he did something that surprised me.

He wiped my cheeks with his thumb and a hint of remorse in his eyes. I watched him as he continued to wipe my eyes with a blood stained frown.

"Does it still hurt?" he softly questioned.

I stayed quiet and just kept looking at him. Something in me found him so attractive and different than the stories I heard about vampires.

They were suppose to be ugly and creepy, with sharp fangs that were always displayed between their thin lips but Alexander was none of that.

He looked normal and that's what scared me the most.

...

I looked down at the beef stew that one of Alexander's chef made and licked my lips to stop my mouth from watering.

I was really hungry but I didn't want to show Alexander that I needed anything from him. He was practically holding me here against my will.

He sat across from me with a smile as he ate his food with no problem. I glared at him and tried to figure out another escape plan.

He was crazy if he actually believed I would stay here with a bloody thirsty vampire like him.

My neck still stung a bit but the bandage that Nana placed on it was making the pain slowly go away.

The funny thing was that she didn't look surprise at all at the bite mark. She probably has seen first hand the horrible things Alexander has done to innocent humans like me.

"Eat your food my pretty white haired boy." Alexander spoke up but didn't bother to look at me.

Was that what he was going to call me now? Pretty white haired boy?

I don't think so.

"My name is Luke and I'm not hungry." I told him through gritted teeth.

My glare towards him would not loosen up as I watched him eat and laugh at my reply.

"Well Luke, it seems your stomach betrays you. I can hear it growl all the way over here. So eat before I come over there and feed you myself." he replied.

My cheeks blushed in embarrassment at the honest truth. My stomach wouldn't stop grumbling and the food in front of me looked delicious.

So I finally gave in and started eating but just because I didn't want Alexander near me.

After the whole biting thing I was sure now that he would follow through with his actions.

As I ate the beef stew the front door suddenly opened and in rushed a man with a black tie.

"Sir, we have an intruder. Your assistance is needed outside." he breathed out in panic.

Alexander quickly stood up and I watched how fast his face expression changed. He was back to being serious and menacing.

He walked towards me and grabbed my arm to lift me off my seat. He dragged me up the stairs and into the master bedroom I slept in.

"What are you doing?" I finally questioned when he turned around to leave.

He stopped in his tracks and faced me again, "Stay here, nobody is allowed in my room so rest while I'm gone." he instructed.

"Wait! Why can't you just let me go? I promise I won't tell anybody about your kind." I persuaded.

Alexander sighed and before I knew it his lips were on mine.

The kiss was over before it even started. I stood frozen in shock as he smirked and made his way to the door.

"That's why." was all he said before he left and closed the door.

My lips still felt his pressed against mine and I just had the urge to want more of his lips.

But why? Was it because he was a great kisser?

Or was it because I was catching feelings for the great Alexander..
