Both Tiffany and I walked to my car in complete silence. Why didn't she just go with Jiwoong?

When I was in the driver's seat, I didn't start the car.

"Aren't you going to start the car?" Tiffany asked.

"Why didn't you go with Jiwoong-oppa?" I asked sternly.

"I wanted to go with you." She said quietly.

"Mhm.."

"Taeyeon-ah..."

"What?"

"Let's just place our relationship behind us."

"What are you trying to say?"

"Let's not be awkward. We need to get your family members back and land Jessica's parents in jail."

"Why is it 'we'? Shouldn't it be Jessica, Jiwoong, and I?"

"WHY IS JESSICA ALWAYS THERE?!" She suddenly shouted.

"Cause she's part of the situation and you're not." I stated with coldness.

"Is that how you will treat me after we broke up?" She asked with a hurtful voice.

"Let's not talk about this ok?"

In a silent car, we waited for Jessica to walk out of the building. Tiffany had both earphones in while my eyes were searching for Jessica.

"Stop searching. She will be out soon." Tiffany said without any emotion evident in her voice.

"How do you know?"

"She messaged me. Yuri's not coming."

"Um. Ok?"

After that there was a long silence, only the sound of Tiffany's music echoed in the car even though she had earphones in.

"Sorryyy!" Jessica came inside the car and closed the door.

"It's fine Sica." I smiled to her through the rear view mirror.

In the corner of my eye, I saw Tiffany clench her teeth. Jessica gave me a smile back.

When I was driving, it was silent. No one dared to utter a word.

"So.. um. I hear something from Yuri." Jessica tried to start up a conversation.

"Yeah we broke up." Tiffany said without any emotion.

"Oh. Ok."

"I'm guessing she also told you the reason?" Tiffany asked without taking her eyes off her cell phone screen.

"Yeah. She told me. But I assure you Tiff. There's will be nothing going on. I'm with Yuri and I only love her." Jessica tried to convince Tiffany.

"Ok."

By that simple two letter word, the car went back into its silent mode.

AH IT'S SO AWKWARD.

"So Sica, how was America? And your business?" I tried to start a nicer conversation.

"IT'S GREAT! I opened up a store in SOHO New York!" Jessica announced and I smiled.

"Congrats! Oh and this Tyler Kwon, he's coming when?"

"Next week. Monday I believe? He's coming with Hayeon." Jessica stated.

"So this Tyler Kwon will give us Hayeon?"

"Yeah. He will. For sure."

"Great. Now Jiwoong-oppa might yell, scare, shout, swear at you. Please just explain everything to him. He will understand. But please don't expect him to be nice. Please be nice to him." I gave her a worried look through the rear view mirror and Tiffany caught that.

"Thanks Taengoo. Don't worry. I can handle him anyways." Jessica gave a smile and I returned it.

"Um. If you don't mind. How do you and Tiffany know each other?" Jessica asked.

"Oh. Well. I was a pretty cold person in university. I kinda shut everyone out. Tiffany was my seat mate in one of my classes. I work in the bubble tea place. She got bubble tea. When I was going home her car broke down so I helped her but I had a mask on so she didn't know it was me. Then the rest came to the bubble tea place and Tiffany was there too. Stuff happened. I wanted to leave for Jeonju but Tiffany came along. Then yeah..." I quickly explained.

"KIM TAEYEON? YOU WERE A COLD PERSON?! HAHAHAHAHAHHAHAH!!!" Jessica bursted into laughter and I nodded.

"She still has that name in the university." Tiffany stated with coldness.

"Really!? Kim Taeyeon!? HAHAHA!" Jessica kept laughing.

"Why?" Tiffany asked in confusion.

"THAT GIRL IS THE DORKIEST GIRL EVER!" Jessica couldn't stop laughing.

"Well yeah, she had to be bright at some point of her life. I get it. She was happy when she was with you." Tiffany mumbled but Jessica couldn't hear if because of her booming dolphin voice, I definitely heard it.

After Jessica's laughing died down, the silence was evident and awkwardness filled the atmosphere.

"So how's Yuri?" I asked Jessica.

"She's happy but when you found out we were together she completely shut down. She wasn't the happy go lucky Yuri anymore. But thank God you forgave her." Jessica said in relief.

"Well I can't stay mad forever. I don't love you anymore. So, it's fine. Two of you are my friends and I'll be happy for you." I smiled.

"Thanks Taengoo!" Jessica flashed me a bright smile.

"No problem!" I sent her a smile.

"Tiffany, I heard Nichkhun wanted to win you back?" Jessica asked my by the mention of that horrid name, my jaw clenched and I only focused on the road.

"Yeah he is. I'm thinking of accepting him. He seems like he really changed." Tiffany said with a big smile which hit me right in the heart and it didn't feel good.

"Are you sure? Are you going to accept him in an instant of are you going to wait and see how he acts?"

"Of course I'll see how he acts. I'm not going to accept him in an instant. That's just crazy! That's rushed!" Tiffany chuckled.

"Rushed my ass. You accepted me when we only knew each other for 2 weeks." I mumbled under my breath and made sure Tiffany heard it.

"Did you say something Taengoo?" Jessica asked.

"Nothing Sica." I smiled with clenched teeth.

"Oh ok. Does Nichkhun look better?" Jessica questioned Tiffany which made her smile go bright.

"HE LOOKS SOOO HOT! I didn't even think it was Nichkhun! He looks so good!" Tiffany started to fangirl and my mood just dropped.

"Now we're here. Get ready for Jiwoong Sica.." I parked the car in front of a restaurant.

"I'm not scared of him." Jessica chuckled and we all got out of the car.
