《broken walls // taeny》19- Who?

"Wait, who?" I asked again.
"Jessica. Her family forced her to get close to Taeyeon. Her family was pretty rich too." Jiwoong explained.
"Then why are you mad at Taeyeon?" I questioned him.
"Well, I was mad. Jessica wasn't there, so I couldn't rage at her. I just thought that Taeyeon was so stupid for falling in love with that girl. I blamed her." Jiwoong lowers his head in sadness.
"But you said that she probably is living a good life now. Why is that?" I looked to him.
"She loved to play. She got a huge amount of money from our parents. I did too and Hayeon. Once she left to Seoul, I thought she went there to become carefree since she had a huge load of money. She also went there with her friends. Her friends attended the funeral. So they went back together." Jiwoong explained and I nodded.
"It's sad. She changed so much." I sighed.
"Yeah I know. If I only didn't slap her the-"
"YOU SLAPPED HER?!" I shouted at him in shock.
"YAH YAH CALM DOWN!" He held out his hands.
"Ok. Keep going." I crossed my arms and gave him a poker face.
"I slapped her. Blamed her. Made her feel like she's not part of the family." He sighed.
"Wait. Why did Jessica get close with Taeyeon in the first place?"
"Well, I'm not really sure, Taeyeon knows for sure."
"I'll ask her. You better get your ass inside and apologize to Taeyeon. She's been beating herself up for the past 3 years. She basically a loner! Now go fix your relationship!" I ordered him.
"I'm older than you by a year." He looked down on me.
"I'll give you my respect when you earn it." I sternly stared at him.

"Fine. Now I'll go check on them." He left me there.
No wonder Taeyeon was scarred. She closed her walls so no one would die because of her. She lost her parents. She lost her family bonding. Taeyeon doesn't want things to repeat.
But this Jessica. If I see her ever again, she will get a nice beating from me. I swear it.
I walked back into the house.
TAEYEON'S POV:
"She's gone because of me." I cried my tears.
"Taeyeon-ah. It's not your fault." Uncle patted my back and started to rub my back in comfort.
"It's all my fault! If I didn't fall in love with Jessica then she would still be here with us!"
"No."
Now that was not uncle's voice.
I turned around while wiping my tears to see an angry Jiwoong oppa.
"..." Both my uncle and I stayed silent and just stared at him.
"Taeng. It's not your fault for falling in love. You can't control it." He started to walk closer to me.
"I BASICALLY KILLED OMMA AND APPA!" I shouted at him.
"No. Jessica's parents did. I said things to you and hurt things. I blamed you for everything. I shouldn't blame you for falling in love. You can't help it. I really shouldn't have done all those things to you. You're still part of the Kim's family and will always stay a part of it. I hate to notice you change. I can't believe you blocked everyone out and invited only one person in. You kept in so much pain for the past 3 years and I didn't even help you cope with it. I'm your oppa and I'm a shameful brother. I even got to the point where I slapped you! Yes we did punch each other, but it was for fun. I took Hayeon away and now she's also gone. She's gone into another family. I'm so sorry. I-I'm so so sorry! I shou- shouldn't have blamed you! It's not your fault. Please forgive me!" He bowed towards me with tears dropping and oppa shaking.

"Wow. Kim Jiwoong is showing his weak side." Our uncle clapped and laughed at him.
"Uncle~" I whined.
"Fine fine." He backed off and kept watching our family drama.
"Yes I was hurt. I was really hurt. I can't help but think of that tragedy that happened. Yes I blamed myself. I blocked everyone out. I only accepted Tiffany. But I forgive you!"
I ran into his arms and we both cried like maniacs.
I looked up and saw Tiffany wiping her eyes.
"So beautiful. Now I miss my oppa." She kept sobbing dramatically and both my brother and I rolled or eyes.
I hugged him again.
"Is she your girlfriend?" Jiwoong oppa whispered.
"No. But I really like her! The feeling is stronger than Jessica's." I whispered back.
"Fighting!" He told me.
We both let go of the hug and smiled.
"Now don't cry. Get back to your friends. Let them in." Jiwoong oppa patted my head.
"Takes time. I said pretty harsh things to them too." I lowered my head.
"Like what?" Tiffany popped behind him and asked.
"Well, since I didn't want things to repeat, I kind of tried to get some distance between them." I scratched the nape of my neck.
"So you tried to tell them harsh things so they can hate you?" Uncle interrupted our conversation.
"Basically yes. They want me to go back to them but Tiffany and I came here. I got into a fight with them. Yuri called me inconsiderate. So I think it may take a while for us to get back together at a whole group." I explained.
I saw them all nodding.
"Since we are here in Jeonju and there's no one from school around here, do you want to like break down your walls for me? And let's enjoy this vacation?" Tiffany played with her fingers and moved around.
"Will see."
"TAEYEON. We just had an emotional time. Just enjoy it with Tiffany for heavens sakes." Jiwoong flicked my forehead.
"I was joking now calm down." I held my forehead in pain.
"So will you try to go back to the real Kim Taeyeon?" Tiffany stepped closer.
"I'll try." I gave her a smile and her smile widened.
Her eyes turned into the crescents that always mesmerized me. Like now, she's beautiful.
Tiffany ran into my arms giving me a tight hug. Now this is comforting.
"Finally," She whispered "I will get to know the real you."
