"All right, so let me get this straight. In retaliation for me helping kill your team, bending reality and torturing you, I'm to wear this ridiculous outfit and shoes without socks?"
Sara smiled wickedly at Damien as he looked at her confused while motioning to the hideous white outfit he was sporting. She rolled her eyes as she crossed her arms with a small and simple shrug.
"Just setting things right," she murmured, knowing exactly what she was putting into motion. It had taken a lot for her to come to grips with what she was about to do but she understood that this was what they had all been working towards from the beginning; restoring the past and preserving the future no matter the cost.
"You mean setting me on the path to killing your sister and your girlfriend."
"I've already made that choice. I'm okay with it. And so is Laurel," Sara told the man, knowing fine well that he was trying to provoke her as he always did. Reaching into her pocket, she let her fingers curl around the memory flasher that Rip had lent them before everything had gone wrong back on the battlefield.
"And how do you know that?"
Sara ignored him, the flash causing the mans face to turn blank. As he started to return to his previous mindset Sara headed straight for the Waverider. She boarded the ship without a single glance backwards at the man.

"What the-"
"Callie! You're up!"
Callie turned her head slowly as her eyes adjusted to the bright lights of the medbay. Facing the voice, she noticed Jax smiling widely down at her. The raven-haired girl pushed herself up slightly, her mind flashing back to noticing the thick black sword that had impaled her.
Moving her hands, she tugged at the bottom of her shirt to try and find the scar that was bound to have been left - even though she was sure that she should actually be dead. When she found nothing, Callie looked at Jax in confusion.
Then she realised that she had two arms. She held her palms in front of her and turned them slowly as if she was actually having to make sure that this wasn't some optical illusion and that they were really real. Hearing a scoff from the edge of the room, Callie and Jax both turned to see Sara leaning against the doorframe with a wide smile on her face.
"You know," she started, "I think you've survived death more than I have."
Callie laughed along with her and Jax, standing up and pulling the blonde into a passionate kiss. They both broke it off laughing with delight as they remembered that everything was finally back to being okay in the world. Sara pulled her back in for a hug before she found Callie pulling away from her.
The raven-haired girl smiled as she looked between her two teammates. "I think it's time we all gathered on the bridge," she noted, causing the other two to laugh and follow her out of the medbay.
Just as they were almost there, Callie stopped suddenly as she remembered her last moments before she had supposedly died. Excusing herself quickly - and ignoring the confused look on Sara's face - she quickly darted back to her and Sara's joint room.

Rummaging through the various things that they had both rammed under the bed storage area, Callie finally found what she was searching for. Pulling out the old jersey that she had long borrowed from Oliver when they had dated, Callie unwrapped it cautiously as she pulled out the small package that was tucked away in the pocket for extreme safe keeping.
Trotting back into the middle of a conversation, Amaya was the only one to notice what Callie was clutching nervously behind her back as she entered the room. The woman smiled slightly, nudging Nate subtly and motioning to the small box she was gripping out of sight. Nate broke into an identical smile as he raised a hand to try and cover his massive grin.
"So, anyway, Rip has taken-" Sara repeated the story to them all, reminding them about how just because she was officially captain did not mean she was going to be any different in their adventures.
"Sara?" Callie interupted, moving towards her girlfriend and standing directly behind her. Sara rolled her eyes as she threw her hands in the air as a joke and spun around to playfully scold her girlfriend for interrupting her again.
"What the hell are you doing?" Sara breathed out, surprise etched across her face as she found Callie kneeling on the ground behind her. She knew exactly what this pose meant, but she didn't actually expect that this was going to happen.
The raven-haired girl laughed as she reached out to hold on to Sara's hand with hers that she wasn't hiding behind her back. Callie could see Ray and Mick exchanging a brief look as they tried to figure out what was happening, and she could see Jax with his phone out standing beside a grinning Stein on the other side of the bridge.
"When I said those things back on the battlefield, they were true," she spoke softly, a smile pressed on her lips as a single tear ran down her face. "We've been through a lot together. The League, death, brainwashing..."
Callie trailed off as Sara laughed, rolling her eyes as she smiled lovingly at the girl that was on the ground in front of her. The blonde raised a hand to cover her mouth that had opened in surprise as she finally realised what was happening.
"I knew a long time ago that we were meant to be together forever, Sara. Tommy and Laurel both knew it too, and I know that if they were here they would certainly be giving us their blessing," Callie told the blonde, watching as a small tear also slid out of her eye. "I spoke to your dad, back when we all visited home when the Dominators invaded. He couldn't have been happier."
There was a pause before Callie spoke again.
"So, Sara Lance, will you marry me?"
There was a moment of silence before Sara laughed while nodding. She pulled Callie back to her feet, wrapping her arms around her neck and pulling her close.
"Yes, Callie Merlyn, I will marry you."
"This is sentimental crap," Mick muttered before he caught eyes with Callie who was grinning at him with happy tears in her eyes. "But its good."

"I can't believe we've literally just gotten engaged and you're leaving me," Sara joked as she pulled at the drawstrings on Callie's hoodie. The raven-haired girl rolled her eyes as she lightly pecked Sara on the lips and moved to pick up her rucksack that was on the ground at their feet.

"I promised Ollie that I'd tell him when I did it, and since our communication seems to be down for some reason I think it'll be nice to take him and Thea out to the Merlyn lodge for the weekend, especially now everything has calmed down with them too," Callie explained, tucking a strand of fly away hair behind Sara's ear. The blonde smiled as she cupped the girls hand for a second before letting go.
"The last time you left to go see everyone you were brainwashed," Sara said sadly as she remembered what had happened. "I'm just worried you'll not come back."
Callie knew that Sara would always have the hidden fear of everyone leaving her. She had lost so many people in her life and so many had left that the raven-haired girl knew that the fear would never really fade away. She smiled warmly at her fiancé as she leaned in and held the kiss for a few seconds.
"Like I've told you before, I'll always come back to you."

Sara clapped her hands to gather everyones attention as she walked back into the bridge, her newly acquired ring glinting in the light that the ship was providing as she smiled at her team. They all shared grins as they felt the happiness radiate off each other as they realised that Callie and Sara were definitely end game now.
"Mick, now that we've dropped off Callie, you wanna do the honors?"
"Plot a course?" Mick asked, confusion and surprise lacing his usually monotone voice as he let his beer move away from his lips as he stared at the blonde who was grinning from ear to ear at him.
"You earned it," Sara simply told him as she raised her hands to motion him to start plotting the course to wherever they were going to be heading. She knew that Callie was going to be right when she said that he would plot a course for the one place that he had been talking about all month.
"Gideon, set a course for Aruba."
The blonde rolled her eyes as she imagined what face Callie would be smirking at her across the room with if she was there. And while they had only been apart for less than an hour, Sara couldn't help but be utterly excited for when they would see each other again next week.
"Roger that, Mr. Rory. Setting a course for Aruba, the year 2017."
//.//
Smirking as she dropped her bags at the door, Callie ventured deeper into the apartment as she looked around for her almost siblings.
"Honnies, I'm home!" She yelled, walking through the main doors of Thea's loft and waiting to see the surprise on the Queen siblings' faces. She felt her smile drop instantly as she found the loft dark and empty, with not a single Queen in sight.
Callie knew that she should have called ahead. It was bad planning on her part. Sitting in the dark for a second, she realised her mistake. It was a Tuesday, and the Queen children usually went out for dinner on a Tuesday night. She had never questioned why they had picked up the habit on such a strange day but she certainly wasn't going to start now.
"We've been waiting on you," a voice suddenly replied to her from behind the couch. Scrambling to her feet, Callie squeaked slightly as a familiar figure moved out of the shadows and towards her with an unreadable expression on their face.
Oliver strode towards her with his hands clasped behind his back and a firm look on his face. She grinned at the man, running forward and wrapping her arms around his neck to pull him into a tight hug. When she got nothing in return, Callie moved back slightly to see he was looking at her still with a grumpy expression.
Moving backwards to give him his space, Callie looked him up and down for a second before tilting her head slightly to the left in confusion.
"Ollie, is that a new suit? Since when did the Green Arrow become the black and...red?... arrow?" She trailed off, confused as to what the new outfit he was sporting actually meant. Thinking back to what he had said when she entered the room left her eyebrows scrunching up. "What do you mean by 'we'?"
A sudden whoosh of cold air behind her alerted to the sudden entrance of someone else. Spinning around quickly, Callie found herself face to face with someone that she had only met once but would always have a huge respect for.
"Kara?" The girl questioned in confusion as she looked at what the super girl was wearing. "Wait, why are you in black and red as well?"
Looking at the symbol on Kara's chest sent a sudden flash of fear through her body. It was eerie similar to a symbol that she had learnt all about in history when she had been young. It was something she thought was almost wiped from their present.
"You're not my Oliver, and you're not Kara," Callie's voice raised as she moved her hand to where her favourite knife was tucked in to the waistband of her jeans. Just as her hand grabbed on to the blade handle, the fake-Oliver reached forward and smacked the black box against the back of her head.
Falling to the ground as her vision blurred Callie looked up in shock as Oliver - or whoever this was - peered down at her with a snarl present on his mouth.
"Stupid girl," he muttered, his glare sharp as he studied her. "This Earth has made you soft. Prometheus will not be pleased."
And then, Callie saw nothing but black.
