"There's just one thing I don't understand," Jax said, having been picked up and reverted to his original state by Callie, Sara and Amaya on their exit from Star Labs. "If Thawne made this world to punish us, how are your mom's sandwiches so good, bro?" He asked, holding up one of the sandwiches that had been made for them all.
Callie hummed in agreement, already moving on to her third sandwich of the hour. She knew that Sara was watching her from the corner of her eye with approval and almost pride at the speed that Callie was clearing the sandwiches out at, even if there were much bigger issues at hand for them to face.
"Her condiment game's on point, right?" Nate hummed, moving away from the door of the basement and back towards where the group were all gathered round. He smiled slightly at Callie, noticing how Sara was refusing to stand less than a metre away from the other assassin. He felt his heart pang slightly as he had to remind himself that he and Amaya would never be able to have that.
"She even had gluten-free bread for me!" Ray exclaimed, chucking as he ate his sandwich.
Mick was fed up of the faffing around and just wanted to leave the alternate reality that they had found themselves in. He hated seeing the team this hopeless even if he didn't get along with them most of the time. "Look, let's just get back to the ship."
"We don't know where the ship is, or Rip, which means our next move should be to rescue the Professor," Sara said, instantly allowing herself to fall back into her captain persona. Callie smirked as she ate her sandwich, feeling slightly turned on at the authority that laced her voice as the girl moved in front of her.
"Speaking of which, what did Thone have you to working on?" Ray asked Jax, his dodgy hat still perched backwards on his head. Callie smiled slightly before allowing the seriousness of the situation to get to her and turn back into a stoic facial expression.
"Grey did most of the work, and I just made his life hell. But from what I could tell, he was building some sort of reactor. He said it would burn a thousand times hotter than the sun once it's operational," Jax replied, standing up and moving to stand near Callie. The girl didn't say anything but she knew from previous experience and her expert eye that the boy found comfort from standing near her.
"I like the sound of that," Mick grumbled, the thought of the heat almost interesting him.
Callie scoffed, rolling her eyes as she looked at the man. "Of course you do."
"Could be a power generator, a particle accelerator," Ray listed off, ignoring Callie and Mick's bickering in the background. Sara suddenly paused, causing Callie to cut off her argument and turn to pay full attention to her girlfriend.
"What if Thawne is trying to destroy the Spear?"
"Uh-uh, impossible," Nate but in, knowing that the way to destroy the spear had been something they had already failed to achieve. "You need the blood of Christ to destroy it. That's why Rip broke it up into so many pieces."
"Unless he figured out there's another way, by incinerating it!" Sara pointed out, looking to see if Callie was following her train of thought. The raven-haired girl nodded before looking over at Amaya who still was trying to keep up with their theory.

"But why would Thawne want to destroy the Spear?"
There was a moment of silence before horror spread across Nate's face as he thought the situation over once more. "If he destroys the Spear, that means this reality cannot be rewritten," he explained, his hands flying around in the air as he emphasised his words. Callie jumped up slightly from where she had been slouching on the couch, her hand immediately going to rest on the dagger that was tucked away in her waistband.
"Okay, we better get that Spear before he can make that happen," Jax said, Callie humming in agreement as she watched Sara's eyebrows furrow together at the plan that was beginning to form in her head.
"But even if we find it, we don't know how to access its powers."
"Rory does!" Sara exclaimed, surprising the rest of them as she spun around to face the bald man. "You were there, right, when they used the Spear?"
"Mm-hmm. They read out of some book called the, uh, "Calibrick" "Cal" "Caliber" "Kalablow" "Kalabalos" Uh, something like that," he muttered, squinting as he tried to recall the exact name that they had used to bring this reality into existence.
"Do you remember what language it was in?" Ray asked, knowing that the answer was likely to make them lose hope and have to find another plan. He had no faith in the man whatsoever, especially after everything they had gone through recently.
"Aramaic," he answered nonchantly, smirking as Callie muttered her offensive remark at how calm he seemed about everything.
"Dude, how do you even know what Aramaic sounds like?" Jax moaned, saying what they had all been thinking.
"Passion of the Christ. Good movie," Mick informed them, and there was a slight silence before everyone grunted in response. It would make sense that the one thing he knew was down to how often he was watching films in the back of the ship.
"Mick, would you be able to recognize the incantation?"
"Yeah."
The team jumped up, moving to where Nate was beginning to flick through the pages of an old history atlas that he somehow had managed to find. Callie followed them, before she noticed that Amaya and Sara had just briefly exchanged words. As Amaya moved back to the table, the raven-haired girl passed her and slid up beside Sara.
"Hey, you good?" She asked, her hand trailing down Sara's arm to lightly squeeze her fingers. The blonde smiled at her, allowing their fingers to intertwine as she took a moment to simmer her thoughts for the first time in the day.
"I'll be better once this is all over," she murmured, resting her free hand on the side of Callie's neck as she pulled the girl in to share a small but passionate kiss. The rest of the team groaned but chose to ignore the two assassins as they returned to flipping frantically through the book that lay in front of them.
Callie pulled back from the kiss, her lips resting next to Sara's ear. "After this is all over, I know exactly how we could put this tight ponytail into use," she sultry whispered, her hand coming up and lightly pushing at the tight hairdo that Sara's hair had been pulled into.
The blonde gulped slightly as her girlfriend skipped back to the rest of the team, leaving her with nothing but a vivid image and a seductive wink.

"Martin," Sara said as the Legends entered the lab where Jax had been trying to reverse the reality mind washing that had happened to Stein. The boy shrugged, raising his arms in panic as he looked at the rest of the team.

"I can't talk any sense into him, and he just triggered an alarm! Which means Thawne'll be here soon!"
As he said this, Callie felt a rush of air zoom past her. The girl found herself gasping suddenly, a hand wrapped around the base of her neck as the speedster held the girl against his chest.
"Or now," Callie squeaked, causing the rest of the team to spin around and notice the spear pressed against her neck. The all moved forward slightly, but stopped as they noticed Callie gasp slightly as the spear was pushed harder against her windpipe.
"Well, looks like you losers managed to remember who you are. I should've wiped you from existence when I had the chance. Do you have any idea how infuriating it is to know that Merlyn was right? Lucky for you, I still believe in some fates worse than death.
Like me destroying the Spear and cementing this reality for all time!" He yelled, ignoring the struggle that Callie was trying to keep up.
He moved over slightly, leaning so that the spear was being held above the furnace and so that Callie was pressed against it too. She winced slightly at the sheer heat that she could feel radiating from the machine and prayed that someone would give her the chance to escape before she burned alive.
"This is the only reality any of you will ever know," Thawne laughed, a sick smirk across his face as he looked around at the rest of the legends.
"We'll never give up trying to stop you," Ray told him, trying to ignore the sweat that he could see was building on Callie's face from being held so close to the fully operational reactor. Sara was glaring deeply at the speedster, not ready to lose Callie to him again.
"Well if it weren't for your futile efforts, this wouldn't be half so sweet." Just as Thawne went to drop the spear, he was shot in the shoulder by an arrow. The man stumbled slightly, his grip on the spear and Callie dropping as he groaned a little.
Moving quickly, Callie edged to stand beside Sara and as far away from the speedster as possible. While she was a world class trained assassin, she knew that his speed force power was easily overturning anything she had to use.
"Not so fast, speedy. You have something we want," Snart interrupted from the other side of the room, Mick standing beside him as he cast a quick glance to make sure Callie was okay. He didn't like to show affection towards the team, but Callie had been one of the only ones who had ever defended him when the rest of the team were downsizing him.
"You need a lesson in how to share your toys, Eobard," Damien called from across the room. Callie noticed that her father held his bow in his hands as he lowered it back to his side. If this had been any other time, she maybe would have gotten gleeful at the fact her father was willing to do that for her, but after everything that had happened in the last month she knew that nothing could ever make her forgive him.
"Yeah, time for us to get a turn with the Spear!" Her father yelled, ignoring his daughter now that she was nowhere near the furnace.
"And do what with it? Don't you understand? I'm trying to protect you from yourselves.
With the Spear destroyed.." Thawne started but was quickly interrupted by Snart.
"Bored now!" He yelled, firing his cold gun and sending the speedster flying through the air and away from the Spear. There was a pause before chaos erupted around them all.
Callie ducked and punched as she thought off the goons that Thawne had sent, especially while trying to dodge the ice blasts that Snart was sending her way. While she grappled with the man, she was well aware of Sara currently holding the Spear and fighting with her father.
Just as Snart went to shoot her with his cold gun, there was a clatter as the Spear went flying straight to the floor at Mick's feet. Everyone stilled with what they were doing as the man reached down to pick up the Spear in his hand. Callie prayed that Mick did the right thing and chose them, even if it was only for this one time.
"Nice work, Mick. Now hand it over!" Snart said, moving to stand beside his ex-partner. Mick nodded slightly, his hand tensing as he raised the Spear to pass it over to Snart.
"Mick, no. You already gave it to him once. You know what happened!" Callie yelled, groaning as the cold gun slammed against her stomach, causing her to stumble backwards as Snart continued to approach Mick.
"That was Thawne," Mick argued as he turned to face Snart.
"This time will be different, big boy."
"Don't do this, Mick. Mick, I don't care what anyone else thinks. I still believe in you."
"Enough! Mick. Hand it over. Like a good boy."
Something in Snart's words triggered what lay inside Mick and had done for a long time. The man tensed, his hand gripping the wooden spear tighter as he realised just what he had been beginning to suspect all along when it came to his old partner.
"You mean a good dog. That's all I am to you. An attack dog."
"Now, that's not true. Sure, we both know you're not the sharpest tool in the shed, but that's why we're partners, remember?" Snart countered back, growing a little agitated with how long it was taking for him to pass the spear over.
"You're right. I'm not a genius. But I'm not one's dog, Leonard. Not anymore." He replied, throwing the Spear behind him to Amaya.
"Well. I guess you can teach an old dog new tricks."
"Undo this mess."
They all watched as Amaya held the spear tightly in her hand, her eyes almost glowing as she began to chant the Aramaic words they had learnt only an hour before. Callie stood up, her hand resting on her stomach where Snart had jammed his gun against her as she smiled, knowing that everything was about to be okay again.
Just as the spear began to glow in Amaya's hand, she gasped as a blue light shot out from around them all and smacked her in the stomach. Callie yelled out as she watched the thick ice spread around Amaya's body, her eyes connecting with Nate's just before they too glazed over.
"I am sorry about your friend, Mick. I know you loved her to pieces."
And with a flick of his finger, the frozen Amaya burst into tiny shards of glass that would never be able to be put back to place.

Guerdon
The sheer vastness of the planes of reality meant that if a combination of laws is stable enough, then it probably exists. The protagonist encounters one such stranger than fiction world that he has a hard time wrapping his head around. He is left alone in an Alien Reality. To him survival isn't the most important after all that he had been through, but he refuses defeat in his pursuit to understand the strange reality he finds himself in. Join this journey of his new story in finding out the answers and secrets of this world. I like this Genre to put it bluntly but I've always found that illogical 'Science' and flawed laws of the world, typical in these stories. So, I've decided to fix that. I have tried my best to make weirdness make sense in this World filled with Magic. Short of simulating them to verify, the laws of this new world should make some reasonable sense and will be consistent (As much as I humanely can keep it that way). This might mean my story might vary in it's progression speed but as a compensation, I promise to have a lot more sensible Cliffhangers if I must put them in. Also, I'm not a big fan of over using vocabulary when telling a story. So, My Language will be very unsophisticated. Hope that's not a putoff. So, Enjoy your reading!
