"Can the astronauts see us?"
Callie fiddled with the zip on her fleece as she watched from the window of the Waverider as they looked over the moon. She had seen many things since Rip Hunter had introduced time travel to them all, but there was something so different to her about actually seeing the moon in person. Not only did witnessing this event reminder her of the historical value that the mission held, but it also abolished her doubts that man had actually landed on the moon.
"No, no, no. We're cloaked," Nate replied to his grandfather, his eyes skimming over Callie who was standing to the side of the bridge and hadn't said much at all.
"What's our plan?" Henry asked, looking around the room at the self-dubbed legends. Rip moved forward, his head instantly back into the captain mentality.
"Well, I thought that we-" he started to say, but was instantly cut off by Sara breaking down the plan that she had formed. Callie smirked to herself slightly, liking the authority that radiated off Sara since she had taken up the mantle of captain since Rip's disappearance.
"All right. I've got Ray suiting up. He's gonna fly over there, shrink down, and let us know what's going on inside!" Sara exclaimed, pulling up the logs of the ship in the console at the middle of the room. Her hand brushed lightly along Callie's back as she passed the girl, a small comforting smile shared between them.
"I'm entering the Command Module. I see Lovell and Haise, but they're unconscious," Ray started, his voice trailing off as he adjusted to the sight in front of him. Callie and Sara shared a concerned look as Henry tried to figure out why the man had suddenly gone silent.
"What about Jack? Dr. Palmer?"
Callie somehow could sense that whatever was about to come over the speakers was something that she was not going to react well to at all.
"Thawne's here," Ray murmured through the speakers, causing the team to instantly spring more upright. The mission that they thought would have been relatively simple was becoming significantly harder by the second.
"Send me up there right now, I want to show that son of a-" Callie was cut off by not only the glares from the rest of the team but also Ray speaking over the top of her as he informed them on what his next plan was.

"I'm gonna follow him into the Lunar Module."
"He's going to land on the moon!"
"Well, I'll stop him."
Henry turned to look at the team, his eyes mainly latching on to Callie based on her outburst once she had seen the man. "Who's Thawne? Where is Swigert?"
They all ignored the panicked JSA member, focusing their attention on making sure that Ray would be able to pull off this mission and get a hold of the piece of the spear before Thawne was able to snatch it and return to the Legion of Doom.
"Ray, whatever you do, just don't let Thawne see you."
"Yeah, about that," Ray started, but his voice was cut off by Thawne's interrupting them.
"Well, what do we have here? Looks like a stowaway?" The man laughed, and the team could hear the sounds of Ray frantically trying to avoid being attacked by the speedster.
"What's happening? NASA expects radio contact in three minutes!" Stein's voice interrupted their concerns as he reminded them of the other issue they were currently facing. The team all started to bicker between them about how they were going to solve this mess, when Rip noticed the clear expression on Callie's face and the way her hands were clenching into the desk in front of her.
"Camilla, please take a breath," the man murmured gently, not wanting to take the team's attention from the main problems they were facing. He could see the bloodlust on her face as she thought about everything that Thawne, her father and Damien Darhk had done to her in the past few years of her life.
Rip was aware that Damien had literally almost taken everyone she cared about from her - and succeeded in taking away her best friend. Callie Merlyn killing Damien Darhk had always been in the history books, and he understood that the girl had a deep vendetta against the man.
Just as Callie went to snap at the man, she was interrupted again - but this time by singing.
"DAY-o! Day-ay-ay-o! Daylight come and me wan' go home Day, me say day, me say day Me say day, me say day, me say Day-ay-ay-o!"
There was a moment of complete silence as everyone turned to the front of the ship in confusion at what Martin was trying to do.
"Sorry what?" Callie murmured, her head tilted as she allowed her grip on the table to loosen.

"Everybody! Daylight come and me wan' go home! Work all night for a drink a'rum! Daylight come and me wan' go home! Stack the banana till the morning come! Daylight come an me wan' go home! Come, Mr. Tally Mon, tally me banana, daylight come! Lift six foot, seven foot, eight foot, bunch!"
"Ray. Are you all right?" Sara asked, pressing her hand to the comm in her ear as she tried to make out what just happened. The shuttle had landed on the moon, but they were blind.
"I'm alive at least. I was able to salvage the descent. But it burned up too much fuel. There is no way the LEM will launch into space," Ray muttered, Callie groaning at the news.
"What about your suit?"
"My thrusters were damaged in the fight. You guys are gonna have to pick me up."
"NASA must be going berserk right now. Fred and Jim..."
"Don't worry, we're gonna get "Apollo 13" home in one piece. Gideon, plot a course for the Command Module. Ray, we'll pick you up later," Sara said across the comms, knowing that they needed to save the other pilots before doing anything else.
"Roger that. We landed near the Sea of Tranquility. So I'm gonna head out and retrieve Commander Heywood's piece of the Spear. Which is, needless to say, very exciting."
"Good luck, big guy."
"What about Mr. Thawne?"
"He's a little tied up at the moment."
"Puns, the lowest form of humour," Thawne spoke up, causing Callie to re-clench her fists.
"If you accidentally killed him Ray, I want you to know it wouldn't be the worst thing to happen," Callie spoke crisply, her eyes narrowed as she thought about the speedster who had forced her to lose her memories. "In space, no one can hear you scream!" She quoted, knowing that Ray and Nate would enjoy the reference.
There was silence as Callie smugly crossed her arms. The sheer thought of getting to finally punch Thawne in the face for what he had done was making her more content than she had been in a while.
"Callie?" Sara said, trying to hide the grin that was peaking through her mouth as she gazed at her girlfriend. The raven-haired girl spun around to face her with a soft grin as she quickly checked her out again. The rest of their team rolled their eyes at the sexual tension that was forever present between the two.
"Yeah babe?"
"Shut up," Sara joked, a small wink in her right eye causing Callie to chuckle and smirk back. The raven haired girl shrugged before walking towards the exit of the bridge, making sure to graze past Sara and whisper into her ear so that the rest of the team couldn't hear.
"That's not what you were saying last night, sweetheart."

"Welcome aboard," Rip said to the speedster as they brought the captured Thawne into the Waverider. Callie was against the man being on the ship, but they knew that for them to survive it was essential.
"Relax. I'm not gonna kill my ride home," he chuckled, looking around to see where Callie was. He wasn't afraid of any of the legends, but there was a slight place in his body for fear when it came to the girl. After seeing just what she was capable of when she had been under his control, he knew better than to underestimate her.
"Yeah, we still don't trust you." Sara scoffed, confused as to why the man thought they were going to be less angry in his presence.
"Rip Hunter. It's good to see you. I guess these morons figured out a way to restore your original personality," Thawne teased before raising an eyebrow as that brought him back to his original thoughts. "Ah yes, speaking of restoring, where is little dearest Camilla?"
Callie moved from the shadows, her gun loaded as she pressed the cold metal to the back of his head. She could feel the speedster tense up for a second as he adjusted to the feeling on the back of his head. They both knew that the girl wouldn't hesitate to take the shot at all, even if the rest of her team thought she was better than that.
"Ready to shoot you the second I need to."
"Mm. Enjoy the brig, Eobard," Rip murmured, passing him over to Amaya and Callie as they went to lead him to the brig.
"I've been waiting for this for a long time," Amaya smirked, aware that he was the murderer of her friend.
"You aren't the only one," Callie murmured, lowering the gun as she pushed him down the corridor.
