"Must have stowed away when we left Camelot, Arthur did reckon that some of the men would be acting on their own accord in hopes of an uprising," Ray said to the rest of the team as they turned their attention away from the balaclava masked figure that had sprung from the vents at them.

Sara had shot first. The bullet had hit the target, the figure instantly dropping to the ground and releasing the gun in their hand. She ignored the body, rushing over to Nate and Mick while the rest of the team rushed back into the room at the sudden lack of noise.

Accepting her help up, Nate moved towards the bleeding body, wanting to see if it was any of the knights that he remembered who had turned on the team. Sara walked to where the rest of the team was standing, placing her arm on Amaya's arm as she asked the rest of them if they were okay and unharmed.

"Sara," Nate's voice quietly broke the conversation. It wouldn't have been a conversation stopper if it hadn't been for the tone his voice had adopted as he spoke the girls name.

He let his hand fall to the ground where he was crouching, supporting his weight as he felt the familiar lump build in his throat. The black mask was still clutches tightly in his hand, having removed it from the assailant's face. The soft material felt unnatural in his hands, especially after what he was looking at.

The platinum blonde hair had put them all off at first, but the face would never. He sat back, clutching the mask as he realised just where he was recognising the face from.

"Nathaniel?" Stein asked, hoping for an explanation as to why he was so concerned about the body lying on the ground in the bridge of the Waverider. They couldn't see what he was in shock at, for he was covering their line of sight. Ray, however, was able to see from where he had been standing at the Captain's chair.

Ray felt the colour drain from his face, moving forward to look down at the body. He gulped, turning around as Sara began to move away from the smaller group and towards the body. Ray grabbed her upper-arms, pushing her from looking.

"Ray, get off!" She shouted, confused as to why the man wasn't letting her move forward. She pushed him off, and moved into the line of sight.

Her heart stopped.

How could she have not recognised the fighting style? How could she have not realised? How could she have shot the one person who meant the world to her?

Despite the platinum blonde hair on the body, she recognised everything else. How could she not have? She had known her all her life.

Sara didn't realise she was screaming out until she felt Ray and Nate's arms wrapping around her, holding her back from the body laying on the floor. The puddle of blood that had formed around the wounded gun shot area wasn't something that was reassuring in the slightest either.

Everyone realised then.

Mick rushed forward, doing what the others had failed to do. He placed his beer down, grabbing on to the girl's wrist and pressing his fingers down. His hand moved to the base of her neck, doing the same before he sighed in relief.

"She's got a pulse!" He yelled, Jax pushing everything to the back of his mind as he ran over and scooped the girl into his arms. He took off towards the MedBay, the majority of the team hot on his heels as Nate, Ray and Sara remained in the bridge.

Sara spun in their hold, clutching on to the front of Ray's shirt as she felt her legs buckle underneath her. Ray allowed himself to slide to the ground with her, wrapping his arms around her body and rocking her as she cried into his chest. He had never thought he would see this side of the girl, how fragile she was letting him see her as.

"She's going to be okay, Gideon can fix her, we'll fix her, but first we need to fix Rip," he murmured, trying to reassure himself more than anything.

Sara wasn't sure if anything could ever be okay again. How could it, when she had shot Callie?

"Maybe you'll marry Callie one day," Tommy said to Sara, his eyes glinting as he smiled at the blonde. The youngest Lance laughed, shoving her friends shoulder as they watched Oliver dance with Callie on the ballroom floor. The boy whispered something into her ear, with Callie tilting her head back and laughing loudly.

Sara shook her head as she felt a small pang in her chest. "She'd never love me in that way, and we both know she's into guys," Sara reminded him, and Tommy playfully shuddered at the comment.

"Don't remind me, I think I'll have the image of Oliver screwing my sister engraved in my mind for the rest of my life," he joked, referring to the incident that the group of friends had all walked in on weeks prior.

They were interrupted by Oliver and Callie waving at them to come and join them on the dance floor. After all, the majority of eyes had spent the whole night resting on the Queen, Merlyn and Lance children. They were the scandalous figures of Starling City, and were surely bound to find themselves in some sort of scandal by the end of the night.

Sara clutched on to her hand tightly, not wanting to let it go. She couldn't imagine a world with Callie gone.

The girl had lost her way since she had left the team to go home, mainly due to the brainwashing that she had been put through by Damien Darhk and her own father. Sara knew Malcolm was twisted, but this was something on a new level for him. Her hands were free, but the metal restraints of the car were attached to her wrists, just in case she had a fright when she woke up.

Sara leaned forward, bring their intertwined hands to her lips as she stared longingly at the girl before her.

"Please don't leave me," Sara whispered, tears dripping on to their hands as she listened to the faint beeping of the vitals that Gideon was projecting. "I still need you."

Sara tried to force a smile on her face as she looked at the girl. "You know, Tommy once told me he thought we'd get married one day," she started to tell the girl on the medical chair. "I wasn't so sure, it was when you and Oliver had began dating and I was sure you'd never look at me as more than little Sara Lance."

Sara stopped again, allowing her thoughts to catch up with her mouth. She played with Callie's fingers as she let out a soft and pained laughed.

"Just as well you both ended that, we always knew you were into blondes. I thought we had agreed I was the blonde in this relationship," she joked, praying that Callie would wake up, running her hand through her newly dyed locks. "When we make it through all of this; the legion, the spear, all of it - I swear - I'll marry you."

Her words had a heavy silence in the room as she realised what she had told the unconscious girl. It occurred to her that she was telling the complete truth: she did want to marry the girl. There was no one else that she could imagine spending her whole life with.

Sara slowly rose from her seat as Rip entered the room, having cleaned himself up from the process they took to recover the man's memories. He wasn't wearing his long trench coat, but he did have his usual saddened expression on.

"Sara," he breathed, not knowing where to start. Sure, he had lost his family to Savage, but this wasn't the same.

She shook her head, simply hugging him as she was glad to have him back.

"The sooner she wakes up, the sooner we can end all of this," she told the man as she pulled away. Rip nodded, but before he could say anything, they were interrupted by the flashing and beeping of the machine behind them.

Stein came rushing into the room with Ray hot on his heels, causing the four to all turn to face where Callie was being healed.

The girl was awake, her eyes narrowed and furious as she pushed against the bindings on the chair that had been keeping her upright. Her eyes caught on to Sara's, and she felt the bloodlust creep back into her. She thrashed against the bindings, trying to get to the girl.

"When I get out of this, I'm going to make you suffer the same way you made my brother suffer," She snarled at Sara, before gasping as Ray stabbed a needle into her neck. The girl blinked a few times before her head smacked the back of the chair as she fell back into her state of unconsciousness.

There was a stunned silence as Ray looked to Sara. The girl should have realised being shot wouldn't have fixed the corrupt brainwashing that had been placed on her. Sara paused, regaining her composure as she turned to look at the rest of the team.

"We'll need to do what we did for Rip's memories," she said, before sitting back down next to her. She latched back on to her hand, taking in all of the features on her face. Turning back to the three men, she shrugged while forcing a smile on her face.

"We're going to get her back."

"Sara, none of us know Callie well enough to go in with you," Stein stated, confirming the plan that was laying itself out in Sara's mind. The girl released Callie's hand, pressing a soft kiss to her forehead before looking at the rest of the team.

"No, but I know someone in Star City that does."
