《Flatmates》25

The holiday flew by in a blur of sun, alcohol, food and hangovers. It was the most amazing week with the most amazing people, and I was sad when it was time to pack up and head back to London. But we all had jobs and lives to go back to, we couldn't just live in a dream world.
By the time we had landed back in London and got back to our apartment it was late, so we all just dumped our cases and headed to bed. I had a quick shower, put some fresh pyjamas on and climbed into my bed. I don't know if it is just me, but the feeling of your own bed after time away is the most amazing feeling ever and I soon drifted off to sleep.
***
I wake early on Monday morning, and head straight to the kitchen for breakfast. I am desperate to get back to the warehouse and normality, so as soon as I have eaten and got dressed I jump straight into an Uber.
I stop by the small kitchen as always to make a coffee, before heading down to my office. The warehouse seems so quiet after a week in a Villa with so many lads screaming and shouting and laughing. I pull up all of the invoices and postage labels from over the weekend and send them over to printer, before heading out to the packing area.
I have been dying to see the new drop in person and I am not disappointed. I have never seen so much stock lining the shelves, and the feeling I get is indescribable. This is my business. I built this.
I head back to my office to grab the now printed invoices and postage labels, placing them in the centre of the packing table as always. I grab the first five or so, grab a basket and start picking all of the items. I like the method of packing, it relaxes me.

By the time my team arrive and have made themselves drinks, I have packed a good fifteen or so orders. We have a catch up so that I can find out what went on whilst I was away, and I help them pack until the early afternoon. I may miss Spain, but I love my job.
As it approaches lunch time I bid my farewells, grab my handbag and head out to my waiting Uber. I have so many emails to catch up on, and if I leave it much later I will be up all night.
I pull my phone from my pocket and see a text from Harry.
Sucks being home. You free today? x
I might be later, I need to get some emails done x
Come to mine for 7? x
Go on then. See you at 7 x
As soon as my Uber pulls up outside of my apartment block, I jump out and head straight for the lift. I only have about five hours until I need to be at Harrys, and I need to get through these emails first.
I dump my bag by the door, heading into the kitchen and making a coffee. I set myself up on the sofa with my laptop, pop some music on in the background and crack straight on. The boys appear to be out so I should be distraction free.
It is 6pm by the time I am done, so I hop straight into the shower and start to get ready. I presume we are just going to hang out but I feel grimy after the long day I have had. I dry and style my hair, pop a little make up on and pull on some clothes. By the time I am ready the Uber is waiting outside.

The Long and Exciting Life of Kreet the Kobold (Life 2)
Kreet was originally a D&D character. Life 1 was essentially her backstory. Life 2 picks up just after the events of the D&D campaign in the Underdark. At first you won't recognize the characters, but bear with it for a couple chapters and the few important points will be revealed. Also I stole a player's character (with his permission!) in the form of Sigmundurr. Also, unlike Life 1, I'll be posting this slowly over time. Right now I'm writing around chapter 20 and I suspect I'm only halfway. Tone may be a little different. ( Cover art by KuroNeko I'm pretty sure!)

Philosophers corner
I won’t say this is a fiction, In fact it’s just things I suppose I need to put out there! Some things might be synonymous to a story, mainly my story. Interesting tidbits I’ve wrote down while high, sad or otherwise distracted in life. Hopefully it’s received well! This is for those who believe they are alone, you aren’t.
