《Let me love you》50

There are two kinds of people in this world, problem makers and problem solvers. And I am both. But as of this current moment I will try to be a problem solver.
Hopefully neither of the boys will be too pissed off when they find out I sneakily invited them both to Heaths house, well I didn't invite Heath cause he lives here but the point is neither of them knew that the other would be here.
I thought for some reason this would be a better idea but hearing the two of them bickering isn't proving to that idea.
"I never ask you to help me though." Heath stands up first, going on about whatever it is they were mad about.
"That's the point exactly. You never ask but I still help. I'm not just going to leave my friend helpless when I know I can do something." Duke stands up too and I stand in the middle of it, watching them argue.
"You don't have to. So that's on you." Heath points his finger at him, is that how I look when I do it? I definitely don't look as hot as he does when he does it.
"Don't point your finger at me. Y'know what I can point too." Duke sticks out his Pinter finger and starts pointing it aggressively at him.
They argue more than my own brothers do. I gotta interfere now because this is getting out of hand.
"Both of you put your fingers away and shut up." I shout over them and they go silent.
"Please." I add and they both glare at each other before taking a seat on the couch.
"This is an intervention. You two need to work things out." They look at me confused.
"So First of all, pointing is my thing. And second of all, one person talks at a time. Duke you go ahead first." I sit on the opposite couch from them.
"Why are you picking him?" Heath glared at me but shuts his trap with one look from me.
I'm just scary like that.
"Tell Heath why you feel hurt. The floor is yours." I let Duke continue and suddenly feel like a therapist. Should I write this all down?
"Because he's a fucking selfish idiot." He answered quickly. He did not hold back.
"You mothef-"
"Okay. Let's keep it friendly." I interrupted Heath before he could curse him out.
"He didn't consider my feelings." Duke crosses his arms. I could tell he was being serious about it now.
"I know. I'm sorry." Heath stares at me before looking at the floor. Well that's a first, he's never apologized to Duke before.
"Gee, that makes everything all better again. I'm not depressed anymore. Hallelujah!" Duke throws his arms in the air.
"Fine, then I take it back." Heath shrugs being petty again. Who knew therapy was hard, especially being the therapist. Im already over this.
"Heath. Tell Duke how you feel about this." I'm too good at this. Where's my degree?

"I said sorry so why are you still mad?" He turns to Duke but he just ignores him.
"Just because you say sorry doesn't mean that everything will go back to the way it was. Sorry is just a word, you have to show him that you're sorry." I explain to him but he just crosses his arms.
"Right. Like he knows how to do that." Duke shakes his head.
"Fucking asshole." Duke whispers under his breath as he looks the other way.
"Look, I'm sorry and that's that. I'll work on it, promise. Friends?" Heath holds up his pinky but Duke was still turned the other way.
"Give me a raise and I'll think about it." He negotiates, thinking that'll work.
"You're asking too much." Heath said but Duke turned to face him anyways.
"Fine. Are you fucking pinky swearing right now? What the hell?" He looks at him weird and Heath gives me a look before putting his pinky down.
"It's a thing we do." I shrug it off.
"Why don't we have a thing?" Duke asks me, frowning.
"Because she doesn't want to." Heath answers for me, sending a cold glare to him.
"I would love to have a thing with you, Duke." I express happily. But what could possibly be our thing?
"No you wouldn't." Heath says but no one was listening to him right now.
"Great. Maybe getting High together can be our thing. Speaking of getting high, want to right now? All this therapy session shit is exhausting." He offers but I'm over drugs now. I did it once and now I won't have to do it again.
"Nah. I'm trying to quit, y'know. It's not good for the soul " I tell him and he snickers out a chuckle.
"Alright then. We'll figure it out. I'm taking food from your kitchen." Duke tells Heath as he stands up.
"Me too. Being a therapist makes you hungry." I follow after Duke and Heath follows after me.
"No, you're just always hungry. Thalia." Duke says, this is true. I can always eat.
"Got any peanut butter?" I ask Heath but he just shakes his head no.
"Good. I hate peanut butter." I poke my head into the fridge and scan through the whole fridge.
"I'm in the mood for an orange." I take out a cool orange and hand it to Heath to peel for me.
"You guys done it yet?" Duke asks out of nowhere as he leans on the counter, sticking chips in his mouth.
"We've done it all, Duke." I take my orange from Heath when he's done peeling half of it and finish the rest myself.
"She doesn't know what she's saying." Heath shakes his head.
" It must be true love then. I got a girlfriend right after I left your house the other day, I was lonely and needed a friend." He talks with his mouth open.

"Who, Frankie?" I ask, she was the only girl I had met that he went out with.
"Who's that?" He asks, confused.
"The girl you bought to my party. She was pretty." I remind him and he seems to remember now.
"Oh, you mean skanky Frankie. Yeah, no. She was just an on and off fling." He brushes it off.
"The new girl I'm dating, Isabel, she's Canadian. Gives the best bl-"
"She doesn't care." Heath stops him from continuing. But I did care. What does Isabel, the Canadian give the best of??
"What am I the best at giving?" I ask out loud.
"Heath?" I ask him and tug his shirt to look at me.
"I'll tell you what, you give the best advice. And hugs. I know we only hugged that one time but it was enough to last a life time." Duke says and I hold a hand to my heart.
"Really, I think I feel tears co-"
"Whatever." Heath says loudly, before storming off.
Drama queen.
"Remind me to hug you again. I gotta go find Heath, see ya." I walk out of the kitchen and walk into the living room to see Heath sitting there with Buddy over his lap.
"What's got you in a sour mood, sweet cheeks?" I ask him as I plop down next to him.
"Every time Duke comes over, you hang out with him. You leave me out." He tells me and I acknowledge that this was one of the first times he had told me what was wrong instead of hiding it.
"That's only because I spend every day with you. I thought you would be okay if I didn't talk to you for a couple of minutes. I know I can be too much sometimes." I run my fingers through his soft hair.
"You're not too much, I'll never get tired of you." He says and I know he was telling the truth.
"My mom says I'm too much, I use to believe her. But you saying that makes me feel better." I sigh as I rest my head on his shoulder.
Buddy let's out a bark as he jumps off the couch and runs towards the kitchen. Probably off to follow Beau.
"Don't worry Heath, I'll always have time for you. Plus, have you seen yourself? How could I not pay attention to you." I look at the side of his face as a smirk forms. He definitely knows that he's pretty.
"Stop doing that." He licks his lips and looks ahead.
"Stop doing what?" I ask, raising my head from his shoulder.
"Saying things that make me want to kiss you." He told me and I let out a laugh. I surely didn't expect that.
"In that case I'll keep saying it." I flick him on the shoulder just for my entertainment.
I lean in closer to him and kiss him on the cheek. There.
"Do it again." He tells me and I lean in once again going for his cheek but he turns his head, making me kiss his lips.
His hand goes to my jaw while the other pushes me down onto the couch where he hovered over me. His hand went under my shirt and I felt his finger trace over my bare stomach.
He's been more touchy recently, not that I was complaining. I love when he touches me. Hes also left many hickeys in different places. His lips trail down to my jaw where he placed small kisses.
"Well, look what we have going on here. If you haven't done it before you definitely would have if I hadn't walked in." I hear Dukes voice and look up to see him right there.
I push Heath away and he rolls his eyes before getting off of me. He pulls me right next to him and helps me stand up.
"You had to walk in, didn't you?" Heath runs his fingers through his dark hair.
"I'm a cockblocker till I die. No funny business happens on my sight." He puts his hand on his hips.
"Unless I'm joining in." He smirks as he raises his hand for a high five but Heath doesn't high five him at all. He just looks at him with a blank stare.
I high five him back because I couldn't just leave him hanging. He clears his throat awkwardly right after.
"Guess who's moving in tomorrow? I am. Look around because once I'm moved in, there will be a lot more color around here." I break the silence.
Tomorrow was officially my move in day. All I can say is finally, I've been waiting for this for forever. It'll be like a long lasting sleepover.
"You never asked me to move in." Duke complains to Heath.
"Because I don't like you." He scoffs. When I look at him he regrets what he just said.
"Kidding." He said, he better have been.
"Mm, That's what I thought." Thot
"And when I am living here, you'll be welcomed anytime!" I clap my hands together.
"Not any time." Heath adds.
"Really? I'll hold you accountable for that, Thalia." Duke gives me a look.
My dreams are coming true, I'll finally get to live in a house with a pool and dogs and my own boyfriend. Life is good. Plus I don't have a bed time anymore. Not that I still had one, cause that would be like so geeky. Anyways.
Tomorrow this house will be Thalia renewed, top to bottom. Mark my words.
