After dinner all of us headed to prom. Lots of our classmates were already there but the party really started when we got there. The basketball and soccer team immediately went on the dance floor and that's when everyone started having fun.

Bella and Simone dragged their boyfriends to the dance floor and Elaina and I stayed together as our boyfriends are talking with heir friends.

"Damn...can you believe we're almost graduating?" I say to her

"I know right! Time goes by so fast" She says and I chuckled nodding my head

"It feels like just yesterday, I was trying so hard not to cry when Daniel was dating Julie." I say and she laughs

We talk for a while until Andrew cane to take Elaina away to dance. I wasn't alone though, Daniel came as soon as he saw me alone. He sat next to me and I laid my head on his shoulder.

"V?" He says and I hum in response

"You know I love you, right?" He says

"I know. And I love you too." I say kissing his cheek. He smiles but it doesn't really reach his eyes. I'm about to ask about it but he cuts me off

"Prom is actually really boring. You're right we should've just stayed home, watch Netflix and just chill." He says smirking at me. I blush and hit his arm making him laugh.

"You're right though. This is hella boring." I say

"Wanna ditch?" He asks

"I just wanna know who won Prom King and Queen" I say and he nods

A few songs later and it was time to announce the Prom King and Queen. We were all gathered around the stage listening to the host.

"And the winner for Prom King is...Daniel Lloyd!!!" The host announces and we all cheer for him. It was pretty expected already.

"And the Prom Queen is..."

Julie. Duh. Who else would it be. They took pictures together and all that. Daniel had whispered something to Julie and she nodded her head smiling widely. We all knew Julie always wanted to be Prom Queen and have this dance. But when she took off her crown, we were all confused little puppie. She walked over to me with Daniel behind her. She put the crown o me and smiled

"I'm honored to be the chosen Prom Queen but the King would like to dance with his real Queen." She says and hugs me. Everyone cheers and I'm smiling so wide my cheeks hurt. I hug her back and Daniel takes my hand.

"This is my beloved princess..." He says as he places his hand on my hips

"And once I get to marry you, you'll be my beloved queen." He whispers and kisses my cheek

Once the song ended everyone went back to doing what they were doing. Daniel dragged me outside and told Robin that we'll be walking home. Robin agreed and then we were off. He had his arm around me and held me so close.

"Why are we leaving so early?" I ask

"I just want some alone time." He says

"Are you happy?" He suddenly asks

"Of course!! I have everything I wanted." I say and hold his hand

"I can't believe that someone as great as you. Could love someone like me..." He says and I frown

"What do you mean?" I ask

"A huge heartbreaker." He says and I sigh

"The past is the past. Please, forget about it." I beg and he takes a deep breath before nodding

"You've been acting really weird lately. Is something wrong?" I ask and he shakes his head

"No. Nothing's wrong. I just...want to make sure that you really do 100% love me." He says

"Daniel...even after everything we've been through, I will always forever love you. I don't know why I keep coming back but I just do. Cause I know that no matter what you did I can never stop loving you. Maybe it's the way you treat me so well, maybe it's the way you hug me, the way you kiss me, the way you look at me. I don't know. All I know is that I love you. I'll always love you. Even if life keeps trying to get in our way, I'll always love you. Don't ever think otherwise." I say and he looks at me with soft and gentle eyes before kissing me. The kiss was so full of love and passion. He was holding me so close, afraid that if he lets go I might leave.

"I love you so goddamn much" he says once he pulls away.

"I'll always love you."
