Andrew's POV

The next day before class started I was hanging with Daniel and the boys. We were all laughing and talking by my locker. All of a sudden the boys stop laughing and raise their eyebrows. I look at where they're staring and see Elaina walking towards us with my jacket in her hand. I smile and wave at her. She hands me back my jacket and I thank her

"Thanks for letting me borrow it...you were right, it was really cold on the way back home" she says and I shrug

"It's no problem" I say smiling at her

"*cough* that's his favorite hoodie though *cough*" Daniel "coughs"

"*cough* he never lets anyone but V use it *cough*" Logan says joining in

"*cough* V doesn't get to wear THAT jacket *cough*" Chris says

"It's like we're not even here." Elaina says and I nod laughing

"Ya see lady, THAT is Andrew's FAVORITE jacket. He got it signed by his favorite basketball player. NO ONE is allowed near it" Chris says

"Well what was I supposed to do? Let her freeze to death?" I reply

"Yeah you'd lend it to her but I doubt you'd let anyone borrow it over night" Logan says. I shrug, I don't know what to reply to that

"Well thanks for lending it to me Andrew." She says

A group of girls come over giggling and happy. One was blonde,the other was a ginger and the last one had black hair

"Heyy Andrew! We heard you don't have a date to prom yet" ginger said

"Uhm yeah?" I say and they giggle even more

"Well you see our friend Courtney over here doesn't have a date either" black hair said

"And she's had like the biggest crush on you ever" ginger said

"So?" I say. They start coughing to hide their excited giggles

"Maybeee we could go together" blondie said. I'm assuming she's Courtney

"Maybeeee" I say mocking her but not making it to obvious. The boys are covering their mouths and biting their knuckles to keep from laughing. I glare at them and they straighten up

"Aww come onnn. We'd have so much funn" Courtney says hugging my arm and making sure that her boobs are touching my arm.

"Hey Courtney...I'm pretty sure you're raping his arm." Elaina speaks up. As soon as she says that the boys burst out laughing

"Excuse me?! " Courtney exclaims

"You're excused" Elaina says smirking

"Who the hell gave you the right to talk to me like that." Courtney threatens her. She lets go of my arm and walks closer to Elaina. Elaina stands tall and confident, showing no sign of fear.

"Who the hell gave you the right to walk around out of your cage." Elaina says making Courtney even more mad

"I wish I could hit you but that would be animal abuse. I'm pretty sure the zoo wants you back home, you must be their main attraction" Elaina continues

"I can see it now. 'SLUTTY ASS BITCH!!! COME AND SEE HER!!!' Must be a hit show." She says

"I REMEMBER YOU GUYS NOW!!!" Daniel suddenly speaks up; the attention now all on him

"You're some of Julie's slutty ass friends!!" He says grinning

"Oh yeah!! I knew you looked familiar!! You're those girls who stripped on the bar last Saturday!!!" Logan says

"Yeah!!! And then some people started throwing tomatoes at you but you still tried to be sexy" Chris says and the three of them start laughing their ass off

The girls glare at us all and storm off very frustrated. The guys all high five Elaina and are all talking about how she stood up to them like that and how it was so awesome

"Man Andrew you got one cool girl" Logan says and Daniel and Chris nod in agreement

"I uhm I'm not his girl" Elaina stutters and I nod

"Riiigghhtt. We'll pretend to believe you." Daniel says

"Andrew, she's a keeper." Chris says

"We're not together. We literally just met yesterday." I say

"There's something called love at first sight" Daniel says and we all look at him

"Dude are you serious?" Logan asks him like he's stupid. Love at first sight doesn't exist.

"Look. V has been fangirling about this book she read: The Statistical Probability of Love at First Sight. She's obsessed. She talks about it all the time. But I don't believe in that shit okay?" He says and we nod

"I better get to class"Elaina says

"What's your first period?" I ask

"English" she answers

"Ah I got Math." I say kind of disappointed

"I'll walk you to your classroom" I say and she shakes her head

"You'll be late" she says. I check my watch, I'll have time.

"I'll have time. Come on, no more arguing." I say and take her bag for her. She smiles thankfully and we start walking.

All the way to her classroom we were laughing and talking. She's a really cool and nice girl. She's so much fun to be with and she's just over all amazing.

Although I can tell she wants to say something but refuses to. She looks kinda bothered by something...

If Only I knew what it was....
