Daniel and I have been walking around talking and just hanging out like the old days. We were currenlty at Starbucks waiting for our friends to get here from school

"Oh shiitt I forgot I still needed to go shopping with the girls" I say and Daniel looks at me confused

"Prom?" I remind him and his eyes widen

"Oh yeahh." He says

"Do you have a date yet?" Daniel asks and I shake my head

"No." I say "What about you?"

"Well I don't know if I'll even go" He shrugs

The door opens and I see our friends rushing over to us. Bella and Simone with huge smiles on their faces

"V! V! V! Guess what?!" Bella exclaims and sits in front of Daniel and I

"What?" I ask

"Chris asked me to prom!!!" She says and Daniel and I laugh

"Well duh. Chris is practically head over heels for you" Daniel says making her blush

The guys come by after ordering and all take a seat. Logan sits next to a happy Simone and has his arm around her. I frown a bit but immediately shake it off and put on a smile

"So what's got Simone all happy?" I ask

"Welllllll" She starts and her smile goes even wider if possible

"Logan asked me to prom!!!!" She says and Logan grins widely and kisses her forehead

Daniel coughs a bit and I nudge him in the gut. He shrugs and I roll my eyes at him.

"That's great Simone!!!! I'm so happy for you!!! Logan will really take care of you. He's the sweetest, super gentleman and just all in all a great boyfriend" I say and she blushes when I mention boyfriend

"Take it from V. She knows from experience." Daniel mumbles and Logan looks down. He looks up at me and I just shake my head and mouth 'I'm happy for you'. He smiles brightly and mouths a thank you

"Drew!! Do you have a date?" I say changing the topic

"Sis, going on a vacation trip. Remember?" He says and I smile sheepishly

"Oh yeah. You're taking Matt too right?" I ask and he nods

"What about you V? You got a date?" Bella asks

"Uhm No" I say

"Daniel?" Chris says and Daniel shakes his head

"HMMM. Interesting." Chris says smirking with Bella

We all look at them confused and they just smile and shake their heads.

The rest of the day went like that. Just us friends laughing and talking and having fun. Until...

"Danny??" A familiar voice says

Daniel cringes while Chris and Logan try to contain their laughter

"Omg!! Danny!! I've missed you so much!!!" Julie says coming near us and sitting next to Daniel

"It's been so longgg since you and I have hung out together!!!" She says and Daniel nods in sadness

All of us sit back quietly watching the scene before us. Daniel looks at us with pleading eyes in which we return with our smirks.

"So Danny, you have to make sure you got your tuxedo ready. And also my dress is a hot pink so you gotta get a pink tie to match. And-" She rambles but Daniel cuts her off

"What the hell are you even talking about" He says

"Prom silly!!! I AM your date, right?" She says and He looks at her like she's crazy

"Uhm no!! You're not my date. I don't want anything to do with you."He says and she gasps

"Oh Danny stop joking." She says

"I'm serious." He says

"Well you don't have a date. Because every single girl in school knows that you're MY date and that they don't have a chance with you." She say flipping her hair

"Actually I do have a date." He says and we all look at him confused

"And who would that be?" She asks

He holds me by the waist and pulls me closer to him

"The most beautiful girl in the world, Verdana"
