"You're so bad at holdin' water, slips right through your fingers..."

"It's raining?" I stare at him as if he has three heads. Not only was I confused at his suggestion but I was already kind of tired from my walk earlier. I also don't have anything to swim in.
"Two words Daisy. Indoor pool." He smiles then begins walking up the stairs. I hesitantly follow behind him, smoothie in hand.
"What about my drink? I don't have anything to swim in?"
"Bring it with you. Swim in that, or take it off I wouldn't mind." He smiles slyly and I roll my eyes but find it hard to ignore how my face heats up.
"Ha ha," I watch him walk into his room and think about whether or not I'm going to go, it seems like he's already made his mind up. "Fine! But I'm only putting my feet in." Seeing his room brings me back to what happened between us there only a few days ago. He emerges back out of the room and I turn to walk back down. He has his keys, a towel and slides in his hands.
"Ready to go?" I grab my shoes and we walk out down the stairs, just like we came in but we walk down an extra flight of stairs this time. This leads us to what is clearly a basement and we go down a long carpeted hallway. Walking outside, I can tell we are directly behind the apartment buildings. This must have been what I saw when I was helping him move in. Walking a few more steps down a concrete sidewalk with a garden to the left of it, and a road to the right that looks like it was designed for golf carts. We end up in front of a 25 by 50 feet white building.

Jacob flashes a card up to the monitor thing and holds the door open for me to enter. When I walk in the first thing I notice is the large blue pool and smaller jacuzzi behind it surrounded by ceramic tiles. This place is bigger than it appears on the outside I note, then look up at the glass ceiling. He wastes no time sitting his stuff down on a chair and slipping his shirt off.
I can't help but to stare at his made for tv body. His perfectly toned arms and abs flex as he organizes his belongings. My eyes then fall on the tattoos that were not really noticeable before. He has a few but the one that particularly catches my eye is one that is on his side; the image is a knife with what seems to be blood dripping off of it and foreign words written on it. He stops doing whatever he was previously doing which brings me out of my daze and I try to look away before he notices.
He jumps in the pool and I sit down to take my shoes off and roll my pant legs up to my knees. The fact that it is grey outside is making it dim in here since the lights probably won't turn on unless it reaches a certain time. In our silence there is also a constant sound of the rain hitting the glass ceiling. I make my way over to the pool and stick my legs in.
"Doesn't it make you want to get all the way in." Jacob swims towards me, the look on his face tells me that he doesn't have good intentions.
"Not really. I don't wanna get my hair wet."
"Oh come on just put it up, you don't even have to go all the way under." This man could talk me into robbing a bank in less than ten words I swear. I contemplate my options.

"I am not getting into this pool in my underwear with you." But you want to, my subconscious reminds me.
"Just put on my shirt. I'll behave I promise. I'll even turn around while you change." Why is his offer so tempting? I continue to weigh my options but then think, it can't be too bad. I motion for him to turn around and he complies. I then take off my sweatpants and t-shirt, laying them over by Jacob's stuff and pick up his large white t-shirt that carries a scent I can only describe as heaven. When I put it on it lands a little more past the halfway point of my thighs and I look down to make sure my undergarments aren't visible. I wrap my twists on top of my head and sit at the edge of the pool, slowly sliding into the cold water one foot at a time.
When he hears me get in the water he turns back around. "That wasn't so bad was it?" He asks and I flash him a sarcastic smile. I swash the water towards him which causes him to start chasing me in the pool. I try to get away but he is clearly a better swimmer than me and he catches me quickly, grabbing my foot almost as if he's threatening to flip me upside down in the water.
"No! Please I'll do anything!" I yell, bracing myself for impact but it never comes. When he lets my foot go I swim to the edge and when I turn back around to face him I begin to laugh hysterically. "Did you really fall for that? "
He stalks towards me smiling and swats some water at my face. "Yeah, yeah, yeah." I expect him to stop coming towards me but he doesn't and now our bodies are practically touching, faces mere inches apart. "You can't run from me forever you know." He says completely switching the mood.
"I'm not." I whisper, not even certain that he heard me. He gently presses his soft lips onto mine in a short kiss then pulls away and looks me in my eyes. This time I put my arms around his shoulders and reconnected our lips. Our kiss grew deeper with each movement. He slowly slid his tongue into mine and pulled my legs up around his waist. My hands make their way into his hair, trying to pull him as close as possible.
Our lack of clothing becomes even more evident when he absent-mindedly moves his hips forward into mine, causing me to moan softly in his mouth. Realizing what I just did, embarrassment consumes me and I pull away. My chest is heaving from lack of oxygen and my body feels like it's on fire.
"Will you go on a date with me?" Jacob breathed into my ear.
