Despite killing Argall, the Viltrum leadership maintained their view on the rebellion being traitors. For worse, they enacted a war against people they considered "weak."Believing Thaedus is the only one who can rally the other races against the Empire, Frei and others sacrificed themselves against the pursuers for Thaeddus to escape.
