:
"so.. Where's our first class?"
:
"I think it's gravitron?"
:
"you mean controlling the gravity?"
:
"I think?"
***
*Boom*
A stuffed animal floating in vision exploded right before them.
:
"uh.. or not?"
Sana squinted as she gestures her hand to gravitate a piece of can in front of her. Mina stayed away from her gesture as if trying to get herself out of harm.
*plop*
:
"Eeeeehh?!"
Mina sighed with relief as she placed her hand onto her forehead.
"you know.. for an Arcane S-class, you guys are surely not familiar with the spells" a snicker can be heard from behind. They turned to see who it was and saw a somewhat familiar person.
Sana gasped as she jolted up from her chair.
:
"Miss Minatozaki."
:
"a-ah.. yes."
:
"what are you doing?"
:
"i.. uh.."
"Sorry sir. I think I startled her."
:
"Taehyung, Stop with your mischievous antics"
:
"wont happen again sir." Sana trembled in fear as she slowly sat back to her seat.
Taehyung slowly leaned down the girl and whispered
:
"probably gave out a bad impression.. did i?"
:
"no.. it's just.. that.. you." Taehyung smiled gently at her waiting for a reply. Sana began to have a huge flashback of the fight with Seulgi's Vampires that time, as she remembered his face to be one of the enemy's allies. "n-nothing.. i might be just imagining things."
:
"sorry if i scared you miss Minatozaki" he grinned
:
"Sana. just call me that"
:
"well.. Taehyung. Nice to meet you princess." he smiled and went back to his position. His friend beside him began to nudge him as he continued to stare at Sana unwillingly.

Demons Don't Lie
Algier, average human and recent convict, has committed the gravest sin of all: demon slaying. His fate? To participate in the Culling, a battle-royale style tournament that’s televised live to the world, where all the worst criminals go to die. As with all tournaments, a prize is on the line. If Algier survives, he can have any wish granted by the Marquises, the new rulers of Earth following the demons’ invasion. However, there’s little hope for survival in a tournament designed to have demons do the work of the executioner, especially for a human. Demons are stronger, faster, wiser, and more talented than the average human, and, despite his crime, Algier is no demon hunter. Mentally defeated before the tournament even begins, Algier is torn between becoming another demon’s points and fighting on in his dead mother’s legacy. But should he choose to fight, there is one advantage that Algier has that can tip the odds in his favour: Demons don’t lie, but humans can. How to read this story Demons Don't Lie is written from the perspective of an unreliable (lying) narrator. There are many inconsistencies within the story which are placed there intentionally. It's up to the reader to decide what is the truth and what is the lie. Promotion Full quality cover image
