《Where we are Parallel: BTS X Reader》Chapter 6

"So how did you find out about your ability?" I asked as we finally took a break from constantly trying to keep my portal open. I lay down on the floor in sweat. He did the same but propped his elbows to hold him up.
"I was six. My mom wouldn't allow me to go sleep over at Teahyung's house. So I threw a tantrum while I was on time out. Suddenly Teahyung's room was in my room in front of me. You can imagine both our reactions to that." He laughed.
"Whoa so you knew since you were six mine happend when I was nine and it was a pretty traumatic experience. It's funny when I think about it now." I chuckled.
"What happened?" He turned holding his head in his pulm.
"I was at my grandparents cabin on my way to the lake and I got the suprise of a lifetime. I found out that Loki is real." I glanced at him laughing.
"I can see why it would be traumatic. On the other hand that's also super cool you got to see the real thing?" He laid fully down on the gym floor.
"I don't even know how I did it. Cause you told me that I need to use my imagination to open a portal Right? For me it's not like that I just end up opening one without thinking about it." I state.
"That's interesting maybe subconsciously you are thinking about it." He hypothesized.
"I don't even remember Namjoon though. Every time we meet...." I glanced at Jungkook's observing face. I shook my head "Nevermind."
"No please continue. Lets be honest I'm the only one who would understand exactly what you mean." He comforted.
"I have this feeling inside that I can't even describe." I sat up and face him.

"When we meet everything feels so magnetic. I don't know." I chuckle
"I guess cause his world is different and everything is kind of distorted. I don't understand it either." I scratched my head looking at Jungkook's confused face.
"Hmm thats a really interesting connection you have with him." He sat up as well his face changed. "Once you know how to us your ability we will figure out how to help him." We sat in silence.
"Where is shooky? He didn't come with you today?" I asked looking around.
"I had to send him back home. He was starting to get weak. His body can not sustain living in this world for long periods of time."
"Oh well it's nice to not have my daily dose of chocolate chips thrown at my face." We both laughed.
"Ya I'm sorry about that he can be a hand full. He was crying and begging to stay with me when I had to send him away. Stubborn little guy."
My heart began racing looking at him in this light. He stared back with a smile. He pushed a strand of my hair behind my ear. I blinked a few times as my heart thumped faster at his touch. I giggled and looked away. Some how I feel a little anxious.
I quickly stood up, "Washroom!" I shouted, "I need to use the washroom." I turned and almost tripped.
"Oh are you-" Jungkook stood up.
"I'm okay!, it's okay!" I nervously laughed backing away from him. I slowly turned and sped to the washroom.
"What are you doing?" I thought to myself. "Why...Why do I feel nervous?" I washed my face took a few deep breaths and went back to training.

The rest of the time I was just a clumsy mess. Everytime he tried to help me I would awkwardly back away. I made things a lot more awkward than they needed to be.
....
After a long day of training, I did my night routine. I was about to lay down on my bed, instead of landing on a soft bouncy surface I landed on something hard and it groaned.
"Oh my gosh" I jumped up backing away. I was in a dark room the only light was the moon.
"Y/N?" A deep voice asked.
"Namjoon?" In relief I scooted back to him and engulfed him in a tight hug. I was really happy to see him.
"You are back." He sat up worry in his voice.
"I..." I started
"You disappeared right in front of me." He said. He remembered that?
"Sorry about that. So what happend here?" I changed the subject.
"I don't know." He scooted closer. " It has always been like this as long as I can remember. I have been running and trying to get away from the Nightmares."
"Why do you call them nightmares?" I asked curious.
"The first time I encountered them they invoked something in me. It was like fear but more, like I was face to face with my shadow." He chuckled when he saw my expression change.
"I know it sounds odd but things keep changing all the time. I go for a walk and come across a beautiful park then when I go back it changes. It's destroyed and has a dark aura around it." He shook his head.
"You are not crazy trust me." I tried to comfort him. What are the rules for this. I want to tell him so badly what's going on here. I feel like he has an I idea of it.
"You are telling me what I want to hear you are a figment of my imagination after all." He looked at me fondly. " It's wierd that my consciousness created you as an adult, when last time I saw you was in high school."
"High school? You went to my school?" I asked.
"Even in thus world you don't remember me." He chuckled. "It's okay it was my fault I wasn't a very good friend to you. I shut you out since I moved away, when we were little. I came back during high school I never bothered to talk to you. It was around the time I started having dreams of this world." He froze with his hands in the air.
"Namjoon?" I called him waving my hand in front of him. I looked around and everything seems to be the same. I looked out the cracks of the windows and the world had froze as well.
There was a really bright light shining from the bottom of the building. I looked down and saw the dark figures surrounding the building frozen in place. I gasped at the sight. This can't be happening. What are they doing here? I looked at a frozen Namjoon and ran out the apartment. I ran to the stairs and as I ran down I fell down back in my room.
"Namjoon is in trouble." I got up and ran out of my room.

Ira’s Faithful
[On Hiatus due to health reasons] Synopsis: Fate has plans for everyone. There are many paths one can walk and many nodes one can unlock. Yet all mortal souls only start with one node. This has been the case for many years and while there are some records of people with more than one first node, these are as rare as wings on snails, roses made of air, or ropes made of dragon-hair. Elise Anker has two first nodes. She doesn't know why and the only one that could answer is an angry voice in her head. She hears it rarely and the voice is as helpful as a sword is effective against a Leviathan. She strives to become a mage, a knight or maybe something else entirely. The future is uncertain and unless she finds out what her nodes mean, she will never know what she wants to become. But her nodes won't unlock and the angry voice tells her that she needs to find a worthy foe to kill. Disclaimer: This is a work of fiction. Names, characters, businesses, places, events, and incidents are either the products of the author’s imagination or used in a fictitious manner. Any resemblance to actual persons, living or dead, or actual events is purely coincidental. I am also not a professional author. This is simply a rough draft and therefore subject to change. Furthermore, this fiction is rather slow-paced for a rather long time. But compare it to a bundle of dynamite, you wouldn't want that to explode right in someone's face, would you? The Demon of Shadows (Hiatus)
Spartans. Genetically modified supersoldiers who participated in the spartan program, which aimed to reinforce and compensate for the humans capability of emotion in order to create the ideal supersoldier. The program itself resulting in the implantation of a limiter for a certain individual, which acted in limiting that persons emotions. Replacing it with a cold logical based calculative mindscape. The limiter aimed to support the ideal supersoldier in completing the objectives assigned to them. Be it mass slaughter, or assasination. One such man who had volunteered to participate in the program to provide data in return for a large sum of money to save a precious friend, has his life lost in battle after years of service and mindless violence. Death, however, was something he usually gave, not to receive. So when death comes to take his life, he awaits in silence, only to be dumbfounded at what is to happen next. This is the story of Nicholas Gray, the Shadow Demon. Note: Story is based on other LitRPGs found on the site such as Dante's Immortality, Necromancer and Co, etc. and on Halo for the majority of the first chapter and possibly later on down the road, I only borrowed things such as the armour and weapons used in the game itself and all credit goes to them for that kind of stuff. I will also perhaps use it to explain his backstroy to further character progression if I can. The cover photo was also a picture I found on the internet and if you wish for credit or for me to take it down just say so and i'll do it as fast as possible. I also don't have a set schedule, and this is just being used to improve my grammar and just as a hobby, nothing more. I will also appreciate feedback in regards to grammar, style, and story in general as this is the first time I have created a story apart from at school, hope you enjoy reading it as much as I enjoy writing it!
