Present time...
'Beep Beep!'
My alarm shrieked, I raised my blanket over my head annoyed at the reminder to wake up for work. Ugh I don't want to go to work today. The shrieking got louder. I slipped my hand out of the warm blanket and felt around my nightstand searching for my phone. The alarm suddenly stopped blessing me with its silence. Wait I didn't touch my phone, I removed my blanket, looked around and screamed.
"What the heck?" I reached for my water bottle, scooted to the other side of my bed and pointed it at the stranger standing in the middle of my room. "I don't have anything valuable in this house. Also I'm broke."
"Relax I'm not robbing you." She said as she checked her watch and looked around.
"Huh? Then who are you? How did you get in my apartment?.... Oh my gosh are you a stalker?" I gasped.
"I'm most certainly not a stalker." She stared at me with a serious face. "I am agent Espinoza. I work for the P.U organization. I was sent here to bring you in to headquarters."
"P.U organization? I have never heard of that. I'm calling the police." I went to reach for my phone. Then she grabbed it. "Hey give it back."
"I guess I'm going to have to use force. I'm sorry for this." She sprayed something in my face.
"Hey what did you..." My eyes felt heavy, my body dropped and I was out.
...
"Why would you do such a thing. We talked about this."
"I had no choice I didn't the patience for all the questions she was going to ask and she was thinking of calling the police."
"You always do this and I have to cover up for you. One day the oracles are going to find out."
I heard a man and women bickering as I slowly woke up. I opened my eyes and immediately didn't recognize my surroundings. I was laying on a the softest bed in a beautifully designed room. I quickly got up scooting away when I spotted the woman.

"Oh you finally woke up. It's okay it's okay. You are safe I'm sorry my friend had to do that to you." He had his hands in a surrender pose. I just stared at them in silence.
"My name is Agent Faller. You can call me Connor. I'm an agent here at the Parallel Universe organization." He introduced himself. Parallel Universe? He noticed my questioning look.
"We are an organization that keeps the balance of all the parallel universes', making sure that there are no crossovers meaning that no one or thing accidentally walks into a world that they don't belong or exist in." He explained.
"No way that's so cool. Parallel universes? I mean I always see in movies or read books about them but I didn't think they actually exist." I backed up again wary of them and cleared my throat. "What does that have to do with me?"
"Well um." He looked at agent Espinoza. "Thats for the oracles-"
"You are here because you are a Jumper. You can open parallel world portals and go to them. You were called to help us with a mission." Agent Espinoza interrupted Connor and he gave her the eye as she shrugged.
I started laughing looking at them like they were crazy people. They looked right back at me with serious faces.
"Wait you are serious?" I slowed my laugh. They both nodded.
I widened my eyes and started shaking my head. I started pacing back and forth on the other side of the bed.
"No no no no NO! NO! no." I gasped placing my hands on my cheeks.
"Hey It's okay-" Connor begin.
"I want to go home. Take me back home." I walked to stand in front of them.
"See she isn't fit for this why did the oracles choose her." Agent Espinoza turned to Connor. Connor looked at me.
"Okay how about this. Talk to the oracles first hear what they have to say and then decide." He suggested.

I looked at him and back at Agent Espinoza she looked like she was over it. I nodded, "Okay"
He wore a big bright smile on his face and Agent Espinoza tsk'd. Connor went for the door and opened it.
"Alright come on time is not on our side." He said as he held the door open for me and agent Espinoza.
We walked through a long well light white hallway with a lot of rooms with glass windows. We passed a room that I immediately stopped to look at the people and human like creatures with punching bags in front of them yelling when they hit them all at the sametime. We kept moving and passed a room with people in lab coats looking at a huge flower in a glass box.
"What is that?" I asked in fascination.
"That's a flower we found in the parallel world that has magic. I heard the flower only blooms during a full moon." Connor answered.
"Wow that's so cool"
"Ya it's cool, we are going to met the oracles tomorrow if we keep going at this pace." Agent Espinoza groaned.
"Sorry she is a grump sometimes." Connor whispered to me as we continued "She is actually nice deep down. Tough shell and all."
We kept walking and got to what I would assume to be a lobby. It was oval shape, sky high ceilings with a big crystal chandelier, bar rails for the floors leading all the way to the top, a reception desk with 3 people two on the phone and one I assume was help someone. The floor had a big seal with the logo and name of the organization and stars surrounding it.
Connor tapped my shoulders when he noticed me standing in the middle of the lobby looking at everything in awe."Cool right?"
"Ya." I nodded smiling at him.
We got on the elevator and went to the top floor. When the doors opened we where in a sitting area. Connor stepped out looking around and I followed.
"Okay this is my stop. I'm going back." Agent Espinoza stayed in the elevator.
"Okay see you later Espinoza." He turned to me. "Let's go they have been waiting for you." I nodded feeling a cold chill at the back of my neck.I looked behind me but the was nothing there. Wierd.
He lead me to a big wooden double door and knocked. The doors open and there were 3 older people they looked like they were in there 50s 2 men and a woman dressed in bohemian outfits. They were sitting on a circular table playing cards.
"Hah! I win again. Pay up." The woman laughs.
"I swear you cheat." The man with a mustache throw his cards.
"I never like playing with you." The other one pouted reaching into his pocket.
"Eh hem" Connor cleared his throat.
"Oh look who finally came." The woman stood up, walked over to me and cupped my face. "Did you have a nice trip?" She pinched my cheeks. I looked at her confused.
"See I told you she would come!" The man with the mustache beamed.
"Oh hush I get it." The other man spoke.
"Oh hunny come sit, sit." She backened me to the round table. "Connor why don't you be a dear and make us some tea."
"Yes ma'am" He stepped out.
She went to take her seat after she sat me down. They all looked at me with warm smiles.
