Hayden Matthew Cole. That is the name we pick out for our little miracle. After arriving home to our house, Luci places Hayden in his crib upstairs before joining me in the living room. She curls against my side, sighing.

"Thank you, for everything."

"Thank you for bringing our son into the world."

A window smashes. Something lands on the ground amongst the shards of glass. I move to stand but Luci waves her hand.

"I got this."

She waves her hand but nothing happens. She does it several more times before standing abruptly. She grabs the rock, scanning it before throwing it back out the way it came.

"What's wrong, babe?"

"The last thing my father was trying to say."

"That man that looked like Hailey was God?"

"Yes! But listen to me."
