"Now watch me be the person that you always wished I was but to Jennie," he says and leaves the room

Jisoo takes a deep breath in.. She feels as if someone is choking her. She keeps taking deep breaths. Her life is a mess and every time she tries to mend things, the opposite occurs

She looks around and feels the emptiness of the classroom. 

"This is the same classroom," she thinks to herself

"The same classroom where Taehyung proposed me," she thinks 

The classroom was empty that day too.. Only Taehyung and Jisoo. The same room where Taehyung confessed his unconditional love to Jisoo now feels like a prison cell to her

She feels as if the room is suffocating her and runs out

"Jisoo, the class is going to start," Lisa says from far seeing Jisoo standing alone

Jisoo is lost in her train of thoughts. How quickly everything changed. If only she didn't expect so many things from Taehyung, if only she didn't love Taehyung that much, the breakup wouldn't have broken her the way it did

"Yaaaa Jisoo" Lisa screams louder. Jisoo comes back to reality and runs to the classroom

She walks towards her desk but her bag isn't there. Instead Irene is sitting in her place with Yoongi. Irene points her to the back 

"Sit with your partner honey" she says

Jisoo looks back and sees her bag next to Taehyung. As much as she hates it, she has to sit with him. Yoongi doesn't even look at her. He keeps reading his book without sparing her a glance

Jisoo walks towards Taehyung's bench and sits down. She feels very intimidated by Taehyung's presence next to her especially after what he said

Jennie walks in the classroom and Taehyung immediately stands up and walks towards her.

He kisses her in the cheek and says

"What took you so long?" 

"I slept in. Sorry babe"

"It's fine. Come sit with me" he says

Both of them walk towards Jisoo's seat and Jennie glares at her. Jisoo keeps looking down but Jennie coughs trying to get her attention. Jisoo looks up 

"This is my seat," Jennie says

"But we have to sit with our partners," Jisoo says

"Who said that? That is a fucking school assignment. Not an engagement that you have to be together all the time. Now move over" Jennie says

"But-" Jisoo tries to argue

"I said move over" Jennie screams this time and everyone looks at them

Jisoo stands up with her bag and looks around. The only place empty is next to the nerd guy that Jennie paired up with

"Jisoo," Jimin says

"sit with Lisa" he stands up and sits with the nerd allowing Jisoo to sit with Lisa

"You're fine, right? Don't let her get to you" Lisa says to Jisoo

"yeah I am fine" Jisoo smiles

The teacher walks in and all of them focus on the class.

Jisoo keeps glancing at Yoongi and she sees how desperately Irene is trying to get his attention

The class soon ends and Jisoo walks towards Taehyung who is packing his bag

"I've made a new perspective for our project. We need to rehearse the lines and see if any changes need to be made" she says

"Okay. My house at 7" he says without even looking at her. 

"Can we just do it after class?" Jisoo says

"I have football practice," Taehyung says and looks at Jennie

"let's go," he says

Jennie smiles and looks at Jisoo

"You go ahead, I am coming," she says

Taehyung picks his bag up and leaves the room

"Jisoo, come on," Rose and Lisa says

"She will join you later," Jennie replies to them instead of Jisoo

They both look at Jisoo and Jisoo gives them a reassuring smile. 

"Come quickly," Lisa says as they both leave

Yoongi is the last person to leave. He can sense that Jennie waiting for him to leave. Jisoo looks pale and a bit scared. He doesn't know why but he can see the change in Jisoo. The confidence that she had before isn't there today. However, he leaves too and it's only the two of them in the class

"You know Jisoo, you surprise me a lot. You're the perfect daughter of our family, right? The one that makes no mistakes? The one everyone should copy? But wanna know what I think about you?" Jennie says as soon as he leaves

Jisoo doesn't answer

"I think that you're a slut who pretends to be an angel in front of everyone. And everyone falls under your trap but, not me. You know I really felt bad for you when you spilled the drink on me. I could realize how long you've kept everything to yourself. But wanna know something funny? It didn't last long. Taehyung drove me home and he told me everything. What you two did yesterday. Behind my back" Jennie suddenly becomes very angry

"You fucking slut. You had the audacity to hook up with my boyfriend behind my back? And you kept talking loud about how I wronged you, right? Guess what honey, Taehyung was only with you just for the fun of it. Everyone could see it, except for you. That's why me hooking up with him didn't bother anyone. Cause they knew girls like you wouldn't last long. But what Taehyung had with me was genuine. But you tried to ruin it too. What did you think? That he'll be yours once you hook up?" Jennie says

"You know the difference between me and you in Taehyung's life?" Jennie says

"After he cheated on you, he moved on with me and didn't even look back at you. But after you tried to hook up with him, he apologized to me and said that he wanted to start fresh again" Jennie says with a victorious smile

"Thank you Jisoo. for yesterday. You have no idea how Taehyung for the first time looked obsessed for me. Guess who won honey" Jennie winks 

"Jennie:1 Jisoo: 0" 

She purposely bumps into Jisoo's shoulder and leaves the room. Jisoo staggers unable to stand properly. If only she listened to Yoongi and apologized to Jennie yesterday, it wouldn't have happened

She didn't Taehyung expect to say it to Jennie. He knew what would happen if Jennie knows about it. Yet he did. Neither once did he think about Jisoo

Jisoo picks her bag up and leaves too. She tries to hold her head up high and just pass through the day somehow

Jisoo walks inside the cafe and joins Lisa and Rose. She is about to eat her lunch but she hears Jennie's laugh from behind. She looks behind to see Jennie sitting on Taehyung's lap and Taehyung says something in her ears that makes her smile

Pretty much everyone in the cafe is looking at them, some being jealous of Jennie, some wishing that they had someone to hold too. 

"Is it bothering you? we can eat in the field too" Lisa says

Jisoo looks at her "No, it doesn't bother me anymore" she says and trying to shake things off of her mind

"Where is Yoongi?" Jisoo asks

"Ohh he and Irene are practicing their lines in the auditorium" Lisa replies

"Isn't he always with Irene these days?" She adds

"No, I mean, I am sure that it is for the school project," Jisoo says in a convincing tone although she herself isn't convinced 

"Guys," Rose says in a nervous voice

"Mhmm? Why are you so quiet today?" Lisa asks while munching on her food

"I have to share something with you two," she says

"Yeah?" Jisoo asks

"Jungkook proposed me last night and I said YES," she says in a single breath

Both Lisa and Jisoo's stop eating and look at her

"WHAT THE-" Lisa says out loud

"I am so sorry but I know that we don't hide things from each other. And to be honest, I kinda like him too. That's why I said yes. I am so sorry. I didn't even ask you guys" Rose says

"Are you kidding me? Jungkook is the nicest guy ever. Sad that he is their friend but yet. I am so happy for you" Lisa says

Jisoo takes some time to process the idea of Rose dating Jungkook but she knows that she can trust Jungkook

"Congratulations. You two look cute together. So many girls are gonna be jealous" Jisoo says with a smile 

"Omg, you guys are making me blush. Shut up" Rose says being shy

"JungSe? or Rosekook?" Lisa jokes

"Ship name?" Jisoo also participates and they laugh 

After having lunch, they get up and as they are leaving the cafe, Jisoo's eyes go towards Taennie 

Taehyung's hands are in her waist and they are looking at each other. Taehyung wipes the sauce from Jennie's lips and puts it in his mouth. Jennie smiles at this and kisses his cheeks

Jisoo is so lost in them that she doesn't notice the chairs in front of her causing her to crash into them and fall down

"Are you fine?" Lisa and rose runs towards her

"yeah-" Jisoo stutters and sees Taehyung smiling at her condition. She feels miserable for giving him another reason to laugh at her but she gets up anyways and walks out

"Are you guys free tomorrow night?" Rose asks the two

"Yeah, why?" Jisoo says

"Jungkook and I are gonna go to this club. He suggested the place and invited you two too. He wants to hang out with you guys since he never got the chance to" Rose says

"Uhuh. My homeboy making the move to impress us. I like it" Lisa says

"Who cares about you? He wants to impress Jisoo only" Rose says

"Yaaahhh, he should care about me too," Lisa says

Jisoo laughs at their conversation and suddenly sees Yoongi and Irene walking towards them

"Yoongi" Jisoo says

But he doesn't reply and walks past them

"What happened to Yoongs?" Rose asks

"Maybe he didn't see us," Lisa says

Jisoo knows that Yoongi saw her and heard her too. He purposely ignored her. She is hiding things from Lisa and Rose but she doesn't want to disappoint them again. She is scared that if they turn away from her, then she'll be all alone and she can't afford that

And she misses Yoongi a lot too

It's almost 7 

Jisoo wears a basic black t-shirt tucked in her jeans and a pair of black converse. She puts her hair in a ponytail and packs the drama sheets that she modified into her mini backpack. She has to go to Taehyung's house and practice the lines

"Don't be vulnerable... Don't be intimidated by him" She says to herself knowing that Taehyung called her to probably make her feel miserable again. It's going to be just the two of them and it makes Jisoo feel giddy but she needs to shake everything off and just do what she has to do.

Jisoo reaches his house and rings the bell. No one opens the door. She rings the bell again

"What the fuck is he doing?" Jisoo thinks to herself

She waits for another 5 minutes before ringing the bell for the third time

She can hear someone open the door and as soon as the door opens, Jisoo sees the person and all the papers from her hands fall down. She prepared herself to not be vulnerable but she didn't prepare for this

The person is Jennie. Barely wrapped in a towel and breathing heavily 

"I am so sorry. We didn't hear the bell" Jennie says to Jisoo with a wide smile

Jisoo doesn't reply for a while

"What? I said I am sorry" Jennie says again rubbing it in Jisoo's face

Jisoo makes herself busy trying to pick the papers from the ground without looking at her

"It's fine. I thought that-- I mean, can he work on the project now? or should we do it some other time?" Jisoo says but still doesn't look at Jennie. She picks the papers and stands up

Jennie's hair is messed up. She is trying to hold the towel in place as if she rushed here to open the door. She has a hickey on her neck. Jisoo notices everything and looks down

She feels terrible because she thought that she was well prepared to face Taehyung but turns out, she isn't prepared enough to see what she just saw. A part of her wants to run away from there but that is probably what Taehyung and Jennie wants

The person she loved and dreamt of a future with is now--

"Oh, it's fine. He can obviously work right now. I mean, he is the one who called you right? It wouldn't be nice to send you back. COME IN" Jennie says with a smirk breaking Jisoo's thoughts 

Jisoo's legs shake and she can't even take a step forward.

"Don't worry. come in. It'll take a while for Taehyung to come down. So you can wait in the living room" Jennie says as Jisoo hesitates

Jisoo holds her papers tightly and walks in without knowing what else is waiting for her
