Taehyung, Jk, Jimin, Jennie, and Irene all sit on the same table. Jennie sits beside Taehyung like glue. She kisses his cheeks and asks

"You have practice today?"

"Yes. For the upcoming inter-college championship. Uhhh how long have I waited for this" Taehyung says

"Of course our college will win when you are the captain," Irene says

"We're preparing a new cheerleader routine for the championship. It's gonna be amazing" Jennie says and winks at Irene

Lisa and Rose enter the cafe with Jisoo trailing behind them. The entire cafe goes silent as they turn their heads to look at them. Even Taehyung stares at them

"Jisooo," Jennie says loudly

Jisoo is walking with her head down. She looks at Jennie

Jennie signals her with her hand to sit with them at their table

Lisa and Rose look at Jisoo.

"Uhh sorry. I'll sit with them" Jisoo says indicating Lisa and Rose

"We have enough space for them too," Jennie says and Irene chuckles

The three of them take their food and sit on their table

Jisoo is facing Jennie and Taehyung.

"Jisoo, as my cousin, you deserve to know that I am dating Taehyung now," Jennie says and holds Taehyung's arm

Lisa holds Jisoo's hand tightly under the table and looks at her

Jisoo looks at taennie couple. She feels suffocated

"I am not hungry" she says and gets up from the table and runs outside

Lisa and Rose look at them

"I lost my appetite too," Lisa says as she walks out followed by Rose

"What a bunch of jealous hoes," Irene says

"I know right. I told you guys. She can't bare us two together. That's why she used Yoongi in the class. What a cunty move" Jennie says

"That is a normal human response for someone who just got cheated on. Moreover, as far as I know, she never called Taehyung once asking him to come back. The last thing you guys could do is make her feel that way" Jungkook says

"What did I do? It's not my fault Taehyung lost his interest in her and came to me. Both of us are meant to be together. So why are you putting it on us" Jennie tries to argue

"Moreover, don't pretend to be such a saint. You knew about it too but didn't tell her. So you're in no place to tell us what is right and what is not" she adds

"Whatever" Jungkook says as he munches his food down. He looks at the empty seat and finds a bracelet. He saw Rose wear that bracelet before. He picks it up and puts it in his pocket

Jisoo locks herself in the girls' bathroom and starts crying..

"Jisoo come out"

"Please jisoo. Don't cry"

Both Lisa and Rose try to get her out of the bathroom.. Jisoo opens the door and says

"Let me be alone for some time" and walks out

"But-" Rose tries to say something

"Please. I beg you two. I'll be fine" Jisoo says as she walks out of the bathroom alone

Jisoo puts her head down and runs to the library. That is the only place where she can be alone

She enters the library and there are quite a lot of students here. But the silence of the place puts her mind at ease. At least they are not judging her

She walks upstairs and finds an empty corner behind a bookcase and sits on the ground

She clenches her fist trying hard not to cry but once a tear rolls down her cheeks, the rest are unstoppable

"I get it. Why did you have to rub it in my face? I am not worthy of Taehyung. You are much better than me. I get it all. But why is it hurting me? I never wanted to be his gf. He kept pursuing me. But then he left me in the middle of the road. Heartbroken. Where is my fault? Everyone keeps looking at me in a way I never wanted to be looked at. Do you know how hard it is to be like this? I don't deserve anything" Jisoo says as she tries to catch her breath

someone says

Jisoo looks up to find Yoongi sitting beside her and reading a book

"Since when have you been here?" she asks as she wipes her tears

"Just a moment ago" he replies

"Can you go somewhere else? I want to be alone" Jisoo says

"To cry your eyes out and keep doubting yourself that Jennie is soooooo much better than you?" I am afraid I can't do that" he replies

"How do you know about her?" Jisoo asks

"Well, right from the moment I walked in, I kept hearing about this guy called Taehyung cheat on someone called Jisoo with Jennie. I was confused at first and then I saw you on class, connected the dots anddddd now I am here" he says

Jisoo wipes her tears again and prepares to stand up

"You didn't have your lunch yet, right? You can sit down. I know more about you than all these people who are gossiping. And trust me, you won't regret listening to me right now" he says and smiles at Jisoo

"I have a class now," Jisoo says

"So do i. We read in the same class, remember?" he asks

"Then why aren't you getting up?" she asks

Yoongi turns a page on the book and reads

"First of all, you're not my friend. And second of all, I've never bunked a class before. And i won't do it again" Jisoo replies

"There is always a first time. The decision is on you. Attend the class and keep thinking about

Taehyung and Jennie all the time or spend that time listening to me and have a better chance at standing up against Jennie the next time she tries to bring you down" Yoongi says

Jisoo thinks about last night. Yoongi did help her go to sleep. She keeps thinking and the bell rings

"This is the last chance," Yoongi says

Jisoo thinks one last time and sits beside him. She looks at his book

"Yaaa, this is a Math book. From where did you get those quotes?" she asks

"Not your business", Yoongi says

Jisoo smiles at this "You made all that up?" she asks

"No.. See it's in the book," Yoongi says as he points at a math problem

It makes jisoo laugh "Stop with the sarcasm," she says

"OMG. Someone is laughing. Is this the same person who was crying her eyes out just a few moments ago?" he says

The smile from Jisoo's face vanishes

"I just can't help it. Seeing Jennie with Taehyung was already difficult. And then she rubbed it in my face in front of everyone.. I can't-" Jisoo says

"Hmmm. Now answer my few questions" Yoongi says

"Okay," Jisoo says hesitantly.

"What does he want to know?" she thinks

"Did you cheat on Taehyung?", Yoongi asks

"No. I'd never do that"

"Did you woo your cousin's boyfriend behind her back?"

"But-- I can't help myself. Everyone keeps judging me. Comparing myself to Jennie. I know she is better than me. I mean, look at her. And look at me. She is the captain of the cheerleader team.. Obviously, Taehyung is going to choose her" Jisoo says

"How can you expect people to like you when you don't even like yourself?" yoongi says

"What do you mean?" Jisoo asks

And trust me, last night, I kept swiping left for every other girl. They were all like Jennie. Wearing fancy clothes and putting on fancy makeup. You shouldn't be hiding behind this bookshelf to cry. You should be out there, walking proudly in front of all the people.. Let them gossip. They gossip behind your back. Jisoo stares at him for sometime

"Umm are you going to say something or will you keep staring?"

"What if I breakdown in front of them again?" Jisoo asks

"Remember everything I said and you'll be okay" Yoongi replies

The bell rings but the sound doesn't reach Jisoo. She keeps thinking about the things Yoongi told her

"I need a change. Lisa was right. I need to change. Not myself but my things. Why am I wearing this shirt? With this pant?" Jisoo looks at her clothes

"I didn't even think before picking them. Cause I was thinking about Taehyung. I kept reminding myself that no matter what I wear, it won't help impress him. Cause I am not enough. That's why I never take time to think about my clothes. I don't even care about my hair. But I need to. I should wear nice clothes. Tie my hair nicely. Because this is not about Taehyung or any other guys. It is about me" Jisoo looks at Yoongi and her eyes are sparkling

"I don't have to change myself. I just have to find my roots back" Jisoo says to herself as she gets up

"Thank you so much Yoongi. I'll always be grateful to you" she says

"Where are you going?" Yoongi asks

"Lisa told me to go shopping with her but I denied. I need to go with her. I still have so many days left in college. I need to enjoy them instead of being depressed" she says

Yoongi smiles and says

"I didn't know that my words would affect so soon"

"Got to go. See you around?" jisoo says

"Wait jisoo" Yoongi gets up too

"Sooo, am I your friend now?" he asks

Jisoo smiles at him and walks towards him. She puts her hand forward for a handshake

"Yes you are,+" she says

Yoongi smiles and shakes her hand.
