"Jisoo wake up" Lisa screams

Jisoo opens her eyes only to close them back again

"let me sleep..." she says

"We need to go back to our home and get ready else we're gonna be late for college," Lisa says

Jisoo doesn't reply in spite of hearing her. She just wants to keep sleeping

"I swear I'll dump a mug of water on you if you don't wake up on the count of 3"

"1...........2.........thr"

Jisoo springs up from her bed

"urgghhh" she feels annoyed

"Let's leave. We're already behind the clock" Lisa says

"Our house is just a couple of blocks away. Why do I have to wake up so early?" jisoo frowns

Lisa pretends not to hear her, takes her bag, and goes downstairs

Jisoo heads to the bathroom, washes her face quickly, and follows Lisa

"Jisoo, we are going to go shopping after class today," Lisa says as they walk down thee street

"But-- I don't need to buy anything," Jisoo replies

Lisa stops in the middle of the road and looks at Jisoo

"Remember last night, what you said about you? You compared yourself to Jennie. Like seriously. You need to be more confident about yourself. You're one of the prettiest girls I've ever seen and I am going to make sure that the rest of the world sees that too" Lisa says and starts walking again

"We're going to replace your entire wardrobe.." she says

"Please, Lisa NO. I don't want to change myself for him" Jisoo resists

"We're not gonna change you, Jisoo. Not even a bit. You're going to be yourself. More so than ever. You need self-love and confidence and we're gonna make sure that you have them" Lisa explains

"I have you two. I don't need anything else. I am a nerd who doesn't know how to dress properly. I don't even know how to walk in heels. Taehyung was a mistake but I can't change myself for him" Jisoo replies

"we're here," Lisa says as they reach their house

"Get ready quickly and come to school" she adds

Jisoo smiles at her

"thank you for being the BEST best friend," Jisoo says

"Today, when you see Taehyung and Jennie, don't let them get to you," Lisa says in a concerned voice

"I won't" Jisoo replies confidently and walks inside

Jisoo hurries to her room. She's gonna be late today

She opens her wardrobe and wears whatever she finds first. She has never thought much about her dress.

She ties her hair in a ponytail and leaves for college

Jisoo makes it to college right on time. She takes a deep breath before opening the corridor

"Ignore when you see him. Ignore. Ignore" she trains her mind and walks inside

Jisoo looks around in search of Lisa and Rose but she can't find them. Someone nearby says

"Hey look, it's Jisoo. Didn't Taehyung break up with her?"

"Yeah, Taehyung is with Jennie. I saw them together just now"

"Jennie suits Taehyung better. How did jisoo even become Taehyung's gf? I am sure that she trapped him"

"Are you comparing Jisoo to Jennie? Jennie is the center of our cheerleader team. And Taehyung is the captain of the football team. And Jisoo? She is nobody. Sooner or later they had to break up"

Jisoo listens to all these but she keeps her head down and walks towards her classroom. She wants to cry out loud but this is not the time and the place for her to do so.

She opens the classroom door and looks inside. The first person who catches her eyes is the one she has been thinking about all night

The seats in the classroom are in pairs. Taehyung is sitting at the last bench, middle row. Jimin is sitting with him. On his right side, Jungkook is sitting alone

"Jisoo" Lisa and Rose waves. They are sitting somewhere in the middle

Jisoo's eyes shift to her friends. She closes the door and runs towards them

"Where do I sit?" she asks Lisa in a slow voice making sure that no one hears her

"You are late. I told you to hurry up. Now go ahead and sit in the front seat. There are still two seats left" Lisa whispers

Jisoo frowns at Lisa and looks at the front bench

"Best of luck at being bored without us" Rose winks

Jisoo glares at her and walks to the front seat and sits down. She feels extremely sleepy.

"Urghh I shouldn't have stayed up late to talk to that stranger. This headache is killing me" jisoo says to herself and rests her head on the bench.

The teacher hasn't arrived yet

"Uhhhh look at that poor little thing. She didn't take the breakup well, did she?" Jimin whispers to Taehyung and Jungkook

"Dude, it's not my fault. At this age, breaking up is normal. Obviously I am not going to marry her and raise kids at this age" Taehyung smiles

"She isn't like your other exes. She never threw herself at you. You were the one who asked her out. You shouldn't have played with her" Jungkook says in a serious voice

"Bro that is the point. I never got the chance to play with her. She is one of those stereotypical *we can't do anything till marriage* girl. I mean, me? She wants me to wait till marriage? What A Joke" Taehyung says

"She seriously said that? What century is she living in? I never saw her in any of the parties either" Jimin laughs

"Yeah, apparently she doesn't attend parties. I mean, it was a fling for me. And it lasted longer than I expected. 3 months. Not that bad" Taehyung smiles

"Some girls are just different," Jungkook says as he looks at Rose

"Dude, I asked her out cause I was curious about her. But then I realized that she is not my type. So it's not my fault" Taehyung says

Jungkook doesn't reply to him

Jennie enters the classroom with her best friend, Irene. Jisoo looks up and sees her. She is so perfect. The way she walks, the way she talks. Everything about her is top notch

Jennie is wearing a black top with a gray skirt. And thigh-high heels

Jennie's mother is Jisoo's father's sister. They see each other on every family occasion but Jennie never talked to jisoo. For her, she is way above Jisoo's level to talk to her. Jisoo also never bothered about her. She is just a family member that she ignores

Jennie and Irene both see jisoo on the front bench and completely ignore her as usual and walk towards Taehyung. Jennie sits in front of Taehyung and Irene in front of Jimin

Jennie then looks behind at Taehyung and says

"I missed you babe" loud enough for the entire class to hear

Jisoo hears it too and looks back at them. Taehyung says "I missed you too" and looks at Jisoo.. Both of them lock their eyes for some time.. Tears fill Jisoo's eyes but before they fall, she looks to the front again

"Gross" Rosé says to Lisa

"I hope Jisoo is alright" Lisa replies

"I'll sit in the front. Jisoo shouldn't be alone right now" she adds but as she gets up to change seats, the teacher comes in

"Good morning kids. I am so sorry for being late" Mrs. Minji says

"Eww what is she wearing," Jennie says to Irene indicating Mrs. Minji

" a piece of junk" Irene replies and both of them giggle

Suddenly there is a knock at the door.

"Come in," the teacher says

Jisoo looks at the person who walks in and her eyes open wide. She feels as if the entire sky has fallen on her

"Oh yeah, we have a new transfer student. Min Yoongi" the teacher says as Yoongi walks in

Before Yoongi can even look at the students, Jisoo springs up from her seat and runs towards Lisa and Rose. The whole class looks at her

"Jisoo, is something wrong?" the teacher says

Yoongi looks at her but doesn't see her face. He can only see her back

"My book is with Lisa" jisoo says without turning. Lisa looks at jisoo being all confused

"Ohh take the book and go back to your seat," the teacher says

"Yoongi, you can sit beside Jisoo. She is the topper of the class. I hope her influence works positively only you" she says

Yoongi thanks the teacher and sits down

"Oh, I forgot my academic sheet. Just a moment guys" the teacher says and leaves the classroom

"The same guy" jisoo bends down and whispers to Lisa and Rose

"What? Who?" both of them asks

"Min Yoongiiiii. MIN YOONGI" Jisoo tries to stay calm

"Yoongi? You know him?" Lisa asks

"You swiped him right. How can you forget" Jisoo says being visibly angry

"Swipe? Where?" Lisa asks

"ON TINDER," Jisoo says out loud and the entire class looks at her

Even Yoongi looks back at the mysterious girl

"Since when do you use tinder?" Taehyung asks from the back

Jennie glares at him but he looks at jisoo being curious

Jisoo looks at him but doesn't reply

"This is the same guy from yesterday. Remember? And I shared everything about me and Taehyung with him considering the fact that he is a stranger. It is going to be so weird. Pleaseeee", Jisoo begs

"Jisoo, you still haven't taken your book?" the teacher asks as soon as she enters

"Come back to your seat" she adds

Jisoo looks at both Lisa and Rose being helpless and walks towards her seat backward so that Yoongi doesn't see her face

"What is wrong with her? Did she lose her mind after the breakup?" Jimin says quietly

"Urrghhh, the new guy is quite hot and she gets to sit beside him? Is this a joke?" Irene says to Jimin

Taehyung hears them and looks at Jisoo.. She is behaving very weirdly all of a sudden.

Jisoo sits down beside Yoongi awkwardly and he looks at her

"Wait you?" he says loudly being shocked

"Jihyo, right?" he whispers

"Can we focus on the class?" Jisoo says nervously

" But I heard the teacher call you Jisoo," Yoongi asks

"Sshhhh. Let me concentrate" Jisoo replies

Yoongi stares at her for a brief moment and looks down at his textbook

"Pssst. I have a question" he nudges Jisoo with his arm after some time

"What now?" Jisoo asks

"You lied about your name, right?" Yoongi asks

"So am I supposed to tell a stranger everything?" jisoo replies

"Well, you kind of did" Yoongi tries to hold back his laughter

Jisoo looks at him as if she is throwing bullets with her eyes

"Don't worry. I won't say anything to anyone. This will be strictly between us" he says

"You two, stand up. Why are you talking so much?" the teacher says being annoyed at their whispers

"Jisoo is talking to someone except her friends? I swear she has gone crazy today" Jimin says

Taehyung looks at both of them. It took him near-about 4 months to talk to jisoo. She was always an introvert. Never talked to anyone in the class. But what is up with this new guy?

"I am sorry ma'am. I was lost in the textbook. So Jisoo helped me" Yoongi says

"Okay, sit down. But no more talks" the teacher says

"Uuhhhh, even his voice is soooo attractive," Irene says to Jennie

"Taehyung's voice is much better than that" Jimin argues

"Of course. Nothing is comparable to my baby, right babe?" Jennie looks at Taehyung

Taehyung smiles at her but the smile doesn't last long. He looks at jisoo again

"Every girl that I have dumped till now runs after me to bring them back in my life. Then why is she already talking to someone else like that? Shouldn't she begging me to bring her back to my life?" Taehyung thinks to himself

The class finishes soon and the teacher leaves. Jisoo quickly packs her bag and follows Lisa and Rose out of the class. But before she can leave, Yoongi calls from behind

"Jisoo," he says

Jisoo looks behind "yeah?"

"See you around, I guess?" he says and smiles

Jisoo doesn't respond and leaves

Taehyung sees the entire thing from behind

"It seems like Jisoo is doing pretty well without you" Jungkook jokes

"Are you kidding me?" Jennie says

"She didn't move on. She wants Taehyung back in her life for sure. She is doing all this to get his attention" she says and looks at Taehyung

"Let's go to the cafe," he says and leaves the room
