Jungkook was nervous as they pulled up at the Kim residence. It has been years since he last saw Mr & Mrs Kim and that also didn't end well. He's worried they might be angry with him for hurting their son.

"Hey, are you ok? What are you thinking babe?" Taehyung asks once he see the younger boy deep in thoughts and not even getting out of the car.

"Do they hate me? For, you know, what I put you through." Jungkook asked in a barely audible voice.

"God you can be so foolish sometimes. Ofcourse they don't hate you babe. Now come on, let's go in." Taehyung gently ruffled the younger's hair and walked to the door and rang the bell.

Namjoon was the one who opened the door. "Is that you broAAAAHHH......."

"Oh god why are screaming like that?? You almost gave us a heart attack." Taehyung exclaimed while placing his hand over his heart.

"Jungkookie..... are you really here or am I dreaming!!" Namjoon grabbed Jungkook by both hands and pulled him in to a hug.

"Nope. I'm here hyung." Jungkook replied once he pulled out. Namjoon then turned to his brother.

"You stupid prick!! Why didn't you tell that it's Jungkookie that you are bringing?? Mom has been in a proper fix from morning"

"What do you mean? Why??"

"Because the Jeons are here also. And when you said you are bringing someone, she panicked so much. She didn't want Auntie to feel bad. Oh they will be so happy Tae. So happy."

"Alright alright. Just calm down man. And please let us come inside. We are literally standing in the doorway.

Once they were all inside, they saw the two families with Jin and his family also sitting in the living room.

"Mom look who's here!" Namjoon yelled, getting everyone's attention.

Everyone turned their heads to look at the two people standing behind Namjoon. There was a silence for few seconds before everyone broke in to cheers.

"Oh my baby!!!" Mrs Kim was tightly hugging Jungkook and crying. Jungkook was crying a bit too before his own mother also joined the hug. He could see his father and Taehyung's father shaking their hands with big smiles. Jin was sobbing in to Namjoon's shirt.

"Oh Taehyung, you worried me so much. I thought you were going to bring some random person and Sonmi is also here and what will she think when she saw you with someone else and even if I wanted, I can't say no to you and I had to make my meatball curry for that person which reminded me s-so much of J-jungkookie because h-he loved i-it and...."

Taehyung gently held his mother's face. "Mom stop blabbering... everything is ok. We're ok. I'm sorry I didn't tell you but I honestly just wanted to surprise you. Sorry for upsetting you mom." Taehyung pulled his mother in to a hug.

"Don't cry darling. This is a happy occasion. Finaly these two hot heads are back together and we all can have a peaceful sleep." Taehyung father said, making everyone smile a bit. Yes they all can finally be happy.

10 years later

Taehyung and Jungkook has been married for 7 years now. Taehyung popped the question about 2 years after they got back together, once Jungkook graduated from the university and they got married a year later. It was a small ceremony with family and close friends only as both of them didn't want anything extravagant.

They adopted two kids, Solhyun who was 2 months old at the time and now, a beautiful 5 year old. Their son was adopted at the age of just 4 days, now he's a 3 year old, the biggest fluff ball you could ever see.

Jungkook had joined his father's company after graduating and later opened up his own company.

Taehyung was teaching at the university for couple of years before finally opening up his own photography firm. His firm is one of the best ones in Korea now with many talented people working there.

One of them is Jimin, who has found his calling in photography and is practically Taehyung's right hand man. He and Taehyung had built up the company from scratch while building a bigger friendship. Their friendship is so much envied in the photography industry and sometimes even Jungkook and Yoongi gets jealous.

Jimin and Yoongi got married a year before Taekook and they also have adopted 3 kids over the years. 2 girls and 1 boy.

They also brought 2 houses next to each other and the 5 children are practically raised together. Yoongi works in a company and basically has a 8 to 5 job but the other 3 parents take turns to look after the kids with the help of nannies. Yoongi gives his contribution on weekends.

Hoseok was scouted by a major entertainment company for his dancing talents and now he's the main choreographer for the biggest boy band in South Korea. He often gives VIP tickets to his friends as the two elder girls are big fans of his group. Needless to say, uncle Hoseokie is their favourite.

They all gather, along with Namjoon, Jin and their 2 children whenever the time permits with their busy schedules as they all enjoy each other's company so much.

Even if they had a tough time for 3 years, Jungkook and Taehyung are very happy with the way their life turned out. They met 3 friends who are most likely to last for a lifetime thanks to that little detour.

Things might not always go the way we planned but fate has unique ways of bringing people closer. If it is meant to be, it'll happen no matter what. You just have to believe in love, believe in the person you love and hold on.
