Jungkook didn't come in the morning.
Taehyung was nervous. He had been waiting for Jungkook to come but now it's over 10.00am and Jungkook is still not here. Taehyung knows that the circumstances this time is different, but he can't get rid of his uneasy feeling. Not wanting the history to repeat itself, he decided to call Jungkook first. But he didn't have Kookie's number.
"Hello Mr Kim. Are you ok now? You gave us quite the fright yesterday"
"Hey Hoseok. Yeah I'm fine. Just a wounded arm. Will be ok in about two weeks. I'm actually getting discharged today."
"Oh that's good to hear."
"I uh.. I called to ask for a favour. I need to talk to Jungkook but I don't have his phone number."
"Ohh.. sure thing Mr Kim"
"If you are uncomfortable, you can call him ask if it's ok first."
"That's ok. I know he won't mind. I'll text his number."
"Thanks Hoseok."
"By the way didn't he come to the hospital today? He said he'll go in the morning"
"He did?"
"Yeah. He said he'll be late to the uni because he's going to the hospital. He said he might not come at all if you are going home. Did.. uh.. did anything happen again?"
"Y-you know about us?"
"Uh... Hope you don't mind Mr Kim."
"Not at all. It's his life to share with whoever he wants. Please call me Taehyung. Friend of Jungkook is a friend of mine too."
"Ha ha ha. Ok Taehyung. I'll send you the number. Don't think too much ok. Things will work out."
"Thanks Hoseok."
Taehyung got a text message with Jungkook's number and called immediately. But the phone was off. He tried for few more times with no success and finally called his brother to come as he needs a ride home. Bogum has left in the morning.
Jungkook had actually went to the hospital in the morning. When he was just about to go in to Taehyung's room, the doctor went in and Jungkook saw bogum inside through the open door.

Bogum was helping Taehyung with some water and Jungkook didn't feel like intruding. It was not like last time where he was mad with jealousy but something about how comfortable Taehyung and bogum looked bothered Jungkook.
He just sat there in the hospital garden for few hours before deciding to go to the uni.
Jungkook met with his friends and no one asked anything as Hoseok has already told them about Taehyung's phone call. After some idle chatting, they all went to their respective classes.
Taehyung was on his way to home with Namjoon when he got a text message.
Hi Taehyung. Jungkook just came to the university. I thought you might be worrying. He looks upset though. Hope nothing happened.
Yes. Taehyung has indeed been worring because the younger was not picking up his phone. But the text worried him more. What could have gone wrong this time??
After going home, Taehyung texted Jungkook.
Hi. I was waiting for you in the morning. Why didn't you come?
Kookie is everything ok??
You can take your time Kookie. It's ok. Just don't go anywhere this time.
After few minutes, he got a reply.
I won't. Thanks. And sorry. Get well soon. I'll see you at the uni.
Taehyung was back in university after 3 days. His hand is in a cast so it was bit uncomfortable to work but he didn't want to stay at home. He came to work with Namjoon.
When Taehyung goes to the class, he sees Jungkook there with his pink haired friend. He smiles at Jungkook and gets a small smile in return. He doesn't want to push Jungkook as he feels something in botheing the younger boy.
Few days later Jungkook sees Taehyung coming out of the office, struggling with some files and he immediately goes to him.
"Hey!! Need any help??"
"Yeah. Can you hold these for me? I need to call a cab. Joonie hyung will be late today."
"Cab?? I can drop you if you want"

"You sure?? Alright then."
They walked in silence to Jungkook's car. Jungkook put the files in to the back seat before opening the passenger door for Taehyung.
"So how's studies? You are studying business right?"
"Yeah. Dad wants me to join his business. He was made partner last year."
"I know. Earlier I saw your mother sometimes when she comes to see my mother. But not so much after they moved. They still call each other often though"
"Really!! I didn't know they kept in touch." Jungkook was surprised. His mom never told him anything about Taehyung.
They reached Taehyung's house and Jungkook helped carry all the stuff inside. Taehyung's apartment was specious and clean. You could see photos hanged on wall, floor, pretty much everywhere.
"Are these all yours? They are beautiful." Jungkook said while looking at the photos. Taehyung nodded in confirmation.
"Stay for lunch. I have some stuff my mom dropped off. Let me heat them. Make yourself comfortable."
"You don't have to do that. I can just go. Don't strain your hand."
"What about me then? Should I just starve Kookie?"
"Ha ha ha. Alright then. Lunch it is."
Jungkook went exploring in the house while Taehyung prepared the food. It had 2 room and both had photos inside. There were some photos that were in Taehyung's room that were Jungkook's.
Teenage Jungkook looked so happy in those. His eyes were filled with love and promise. Jungkook could see his younger self looking at the camera lens with so much emotions for the cameraman and felt his eyes tearing.
"Come on Kookie. Food is ready." Taehyung said softly from the door. Together they went to have lunch in silence.
Few weeks pass by without any incident. Jungkook and Taehyung are polite to eachother but nothing more. Jungkook seems to be hesitant about something and Taehyung patiently waits for him.
On a friday night Jungkook's friends decided to go to a club. They were all busy with exams and now wants to have fun. Coincidently Bogum calls and asks for a night out so Taehyung and lisa are in the same club as well.
Taehyung sees Hoseok and Jimin at the dance floor and immediately looks for Jungkook. He notice Jungkook sitting at the bar with Yoongi.
Taehyung has no idea about the younger's alcohol tolerance because he has never seen Jungkook drinking. He assumes it's high because Jungkook is emptying glass after glass.
Taehyung see Jimin comes from the dance floor and pulling Yoongi to dance with him. Yoongi keeps resisting and Jimin slightly bumps in to another man in the process.
"Hey watch where you are going!!"
"I'm sorry. I didn't see you there. Sorry." Jimin apologise with a smile. The man then stops to speak with Jimin.
"No worries beautiful. Are you alone? Do you want to dance??" Man asks and grabs Jimin hand and Jimin is shocked.
"He's with his boyfriend." Yoongi immediately pulls Jimin to himself. "Come on baby. Let's go dance." Both of them goes to the dance floor and joins Hoseok while the man and his friend sit at the bar. Jungkook can hear them talking.
"Isn't he a cute one?"
"Jackson please. Don't make trouble here. Didn't the other guy say he's the boyfriend."
"So I have one too. I'm not asking him to be my boyfriend. I was just wondering if he wants to have fun."
"I don't think so. He doesn't seem like the type. Let's just enjoy ourselves shall we."
"Well maybe we can give him something to change his mind. He won't remember what happened anyway. I really want....."
The man was not able to say what he really wanted because Jungkook punched him on the face.
sorry for the cliffhanger. Next one will be updated soon.

Maybe with a bit of luck and planning, he can build a force to defend the world without anyone realizing it. Author's Thoughts: What is litRPG (From wikipedia) - LitRPG, short for Literary Role Playing Game, is a literary genre combining the conventions of MMORPGs with science-fiction fantasy novels.[1] LitRPG is a literary genre where games or game-like challenges form an essential part of the story. A LitRPG work simultaneously narrates the story of characters inside and outside of the game-world. At least some of the characters in a LitRPG novel therefore understand that they are playing a game: they are 'meta-aware'. So, while Tolkien's Lord of the Rings is a fantasy novel, a book about people creating avatars and interacting in a Lord of the Rings MMORPG would be a LitRPG novel. Why do I read them? You know, I am not too sure. I love MMOs. I played them, quit them, joined up and repeated the cycle. They are fun! They are a massive waste of time but so are most games. Do I want to read about someone else playing them? Sort of?The advent of VR and the possibility of VR someday becoming so immersive that you can't tell them from reality sets the imagination on fire. What if this could be life? But most stories fall short. At the end of the day the protagonist hangs up his VR helmet and goes to have dinner with his mom and dad or other family and it becomes meaningless. It's like the story that ends because the main character woke up and nothing you read matters. There have been some books that explore the concept of the intersection of reality and total immersion VR. Enders Game is a classic. There were a few others that escape me but they exist, however, the cross between the game and reality is weak.So what if the game was real? The technology needed for total immersion VR is so advanced that by the time we reach that goal technology should have naturally evolved to include several items. You must have direct neural input. You simply can't have a total immersion (all senses and perfect presence) experience without this basic prerequisite. If you have direct neural access, you can probably do neat things like feed knowledge and skills directly to that person. You can undoubtedly do many horrible things as well. Muscles are controlled by the brain. If you control the brain why would you let the body just sit there and rot? A person that sits unmoving for 24 hours a day will have their body whither away just like a coma patient. However, if you control the brain you could control the muscles. On a basic level, this would be isometric impulses, working muscle group against muscle group to avoid atrophy. Taken to its logical conclusion you would be able to gain muscle mass and program muscle memory. The flip side is that you could remote control their body... but let's not go there. So what would people do if it were real? Well, they would probably limit and regulate it since the drawbacks are very obvious. Even if you look at the basic aspects of this you can see some negative possibilities. Look at the Sword Art Online anime. Personally, I think they missed the boat by putting a bomb in the VR helmet. Do you really need a bomb when you have direct access to the brain? So what kind of events would you need to have a situation where the obvious drawbacks haven't been explored? Maybe a society where the advancement of technology has so far outstripped the explorations of its applications that ignorance was truly bliss? Okay, so I had to put in an alien invasion to kickstart the premise, but that was just one of the possibilities.
