Hermione's pov:

Me and lily are on our way to y/n's home to visit him and to see how rosemary is doing. As we reach a dirt path that leads to a gate with a forest and a fog or smoke going through the forest, on the otherside of it like the forbidden forest at hogwarts. There is a stonewall that looks like it is there to guide any visitors through the forest.

As we approached the gate, it opened on its own with a slight creak.

As we proceed forward we come towards a forest burning but the fire isn't heating up the car.

(A/n: ignore the bear in the gif.)

We reach the edge of the burning forest and see a thriving forest of evergreen trees and other trees that were in an expanse as far as the eye can see with a river and we can see the top of a house at the center of the forest. As we looked a little bit farther we could see the ocean behind the forest.

(A/n: closest I can find as a reference but without the fires)

As we got close to the house we were awestruck at how big his mansion is.

As we got out of the car we see someone in doorway of the front door and they approaches us. When we meet at the halfway point we see that it is a woman. She looks at us and smiles.

M/n: ah, you must be y/n's friends and you two are one of their parents I presume.

Hermione: yes me and Lily are y/n's friends and the two adults are my parents.

M/n: let me call y/n, he's flying around right now.

Me, lily, and my parents look at each other confused and see y/n's mother use a hologram disk to communicate with y/n.

M/n: he's on his way.

A few minutes later we hear the sound of a fighter jet engine coming towards us till we see a fighter jet come speeding toward us before it starts to shrink and shift into y/n who lands on the ground.

Y/n: hey Hermione. Hey lily. Hello Mr and Mrs granger. Welcome to my home.

My parents look at y/n in awe and shock at what they saw. We are led into the mansion and we see ravage and prowl covered in stickers around their faces and rosemary is reading a children's book between them. Lily approaches rosemary and hugs her and they read the book together.

Mr. Granger: what are they?

Hermione: they're two of his forms.

Mrs. Granger: forms?

Y/n: I can shapeshift. That is how I became myself after coming to you guys as the jet.

After a few minutes my parents leave, so me and Lily are following rosemary, who is wearing a bear hoodie, along a trail that leads to a river and I look at a mountain in the distance that has a face on it ,with smoke coming out of where the eyes are, that startles me.

We reach the river and listen to the sounds of nature around us. As we sit there enjoying the peace we hear a big animal approaching and see a big adult male brown bear heading in our direction and it chases us. We see a beaver dam ahead of us and I cast a spell to slow down the bear enough for us to get in from underwater. Once we get inside with a little bit of difficulty from lily and rosemary, we stay still as the bear reaches the dam and starts trying to break in. We scream in fear as lily's mark starts to glow red and sends a fireball into the sky and the symbol from first year hovers in the sky. We hear a jet flying super fast in our direction and see y/n shift and land behind the bear with his wrist blade out. We see y/n shift while he is slightly cloaked in a shimmering thing before uncloaking and letting out a challenging roar.

(A/n: that is how y/n's cloak looks)

We gasp as the bear turns and roars back and both y/n and the bear charge at each other. As y/n charges the bear, he shifts back to normal and ducks under a swipe from the bear then slices the bear's shoulder. The bear swipes again hitting y/n causing him to wince and then they both lock into a sort of wrestling move with them holding each others shoulders and trying to power the other down to the ground. We watch in awe and slight fear as the power struggle continues for a few minutes before the bear pins y/n down bites his shoulder then rises letting out a victory roar then walks away a bit and turns around to charge the dam. As the bear is getting closer y/n gets up slowly before turning and throwing a hard punch into the bear's head that is hard enough to hear bones break and stop the bear. The bear lands in the dam and y/n pulls it out so that we can get out. The four of us head back to y/n's home as y/n carries the bear.

We sat at the table eating some bear soup with tuna fillet since y/n's home is near the ocean. Three owls entered through the window in the dining room. The owls drop off our booklists and a permission form to visit hogsmeade. Lily passes her permission form to y/n ,since her mark on her left inner forearm means that he's her guardian, which he signs. I stand on one of the balconies of y/n's mansion watching as the sunsets, it shows the beauty of the burning forest section that its contained. I head towards y/n as he offered to show me the library of his mansion.

After walking for a while around his mansion we arrive at the doors to the library. Y/n opens the door for me and when I enter the room I'm shocked at how many books there are in one room which is four floors high and as wide and long as the great hall at hogwarts. It has fog low to the ground but not touching the books on the lowest spot on the first floor.

I look around amazed at the amount of books. After reading with for a bit we head to our separate rooms and I prepare to head to France in the morning.
