"To Knight estate, we have to take the duchess body back to the estate. Princess."
"Take me with you."
There were gasps around from the students. "My apologise, princess, but we cannot do that. The duchess already predicts what you'll be saying and doing and told us not to take you with us to the estate." Elodie Authement, the head maid, bowed.
Did... did she say Kayden predict my words and action?
"She... she knows sh-she's dying?" I covered my mouth as tears flow even more.
No wonder why she asked me those questions before, and about the letter... how... how did they know that someone is going to die. They told me to protect that person, but I wasn't able to do so.
Goddess... I'm a weak, pathetic loser.
"We apologise about it, but we must follow the rules that the duchess told us to do." Theobald FitzWalter, lower his head.
"Please... I'm begging you." I kneeled on both of my knees and clutched on the head maid's dress.
"Y/N..." I heard my aunt Minnie whispered.
Elodie kneeled on my level and stroke my left cheek. "Your imperial highness, we would love to bring you with us, but the crown princess won't let us," she whispered to the two of us.
Did she call me 'Your imperial highness'? And called Kayden a crown princess? But I thought she's a duchess?
There are so many mysteries... I. must find out what it is.
"I know what you're thinking right now, but I think you should keep it a secret. And please understand us, we must obey our master wishes," she whispered one last time and stood up and nodded to Theobald.
"We'll be going now." the butler, the maid and Linda bowed to me and left the room.
"No... no..."
I want to run after them, but my legs are not moving at all.

No one pov
Everything wasn't normal for Y/N, and it felt like something is missing. It's been a week ever since Kayden passed away. The Slytherin group wasn't in a good state either, Y/N, who locked herself for a week in her room, not eating or sleeping, only sleeping. Every time she would sleep and get nightmares about Kayden, and the Slytherins would hear her scream. I haven't talked to anyone either, but she was all gloomy; she was all gloomy when she was going to class; no one dares to talk to her at all. Her anger issues have risen too.
Three Slytherin boys, who were in an awful state too. Henry didn't talk to anyone nor the teachers, and he's always by himself. Ben didn't eat at all, and he has dark bags under his eyes. He hasn't been sleeping; all he did was cry at their dorm. Easton, who hasn't been himself, his grades are dropping. He lost his rival on studies.
The Golden trio was also sad, and Hermione is also in a poor state too. She wasn't on herself at all; she's regretting not making up with her at all, even to Y/N. She wants to talk to Y/N to comfort each other, but every time she tries. A murderous aura is always around Y/N.
Lupus siblings are not okay either; Wolfgang is not on his usual self being all noisy and hype. He was quiet. Amaris has also been crying about the news. After all, Kayden has helped her and Luna Lovegood from Ravenclaws before because Kayden saw them getting bullied.

And Draco... not either him, he saw his rival died in his arms. Dark circles under his eyes, he would get nightmares and scream about it. They might be rivals and don't like each other at all, but Draco feels something is missing in him again. It's like, he known Kayden and got separated from her.
Gryffindor's next Quidditch match would be against Hufflepuff. Wood insisted on team practices every night after dinner so that Harry barely had time for anything but Quidditch and homework. However, the training sessions were getting better, or at least drier, and the evening before Saturday's match, he went up to his dormitory to drop off his broomstick feeling Gryffindor's chances for the Quidditch cup had never been better.
But his alright mood didn't last long. At the top of the stairs to the dormitory, he met Neville Longbottom, who was looking frantic.
"Harry - I don't know who did it - I just found--"
Watching Harry fearfully, Neville pushed open the door.
No one knows who had thrown the contents of Harry's trunk everywhere. His cloak lay ripped on the floor. The person had pulled the bedclothes off his four-poster and had pulled the drawer out of his bedside cabinet, the contents strewn over the mattress.
Harry walked over to the bed, open-mouthed, treading on a few loose pages of Travels with Trolls. As he and Neville pulled the blankets back onto his bed, Ron, Dean, and Seamus came in. Dean swore loudly.
"What happened, Harry?"
"No idea," said Harry. But Ron was examining Harry's robes. All the pockets were hanging out.
"Someone's been looking for something," said Ron. "Is there anything missing?"
Harry started to pick up all his things and throw them into his trunk. It was only as he threw the last of the Lockhart books back into it that he realised what wasn't there.
"Riddle's diary's gone," he said in an undertone to Ron.
"What?"

"*********, please understand father and mother to their choices."
"I'm scared."
'Oh no, I am back to that place.' I said I don't think they can hear me at all.
"**********, I don't want to do this." The white hair with red eyes girl sobs.
"We have no choice ****; they already got ******. They will turn her into a newborn and put her on some human stomach, meaning she's going to be reborn. Father and mother will be turning us into infant and hide us, and they will hide our powers." The black hair, with red eyes, boy, comforts his younger twin sister.
"Are they going to turn us into humans? Humans are filthy. It is not that I hate them but have you seen the earth? What they have done?"
"*********, we also kill. We kill humans, demons, angels, vampires and many more who disobey us. We might be holy, but we are sinister too." the brother strokes his little sister hair.
"Oh... that's true, but humans are weak. I could even kill them by flicking their forehead." The little sister chuckled.
'She's right... they are weak.'
I nodded in agreement as flashbacks went to my head. 'The last I killed one was on the war back in the past, all I did was flicking their foreheads and snapping my fingers and saying die, and they burst all bloody. I mean, it goes to the demons and the other creatures before. That's why they are scared of me.' I chuckled from the memory when I talked to him last time after we got back to the palace after slaying many creatures of disobeying us, but then my head hurts. Was that a memory?

Did I say when I was talking to him? A memory when both of us were sent by our father to slay the creatures who disobeyed us.
This can't be... There's no way...
But then th door burst open. It was the whole family gathered around.
"*********, **********. We better start now; they are coming. I'll start it now." their father said as he lifted his hands and pointed at the twins.
He mumbled something; there was a light that came out. It almost made me blind, I looked back again at the twins, but there were missing.
But then, there were two crying noise heard. They were echoing the room with their cries.
The mother burst into tears as she hurriedly went to her twins and carried them both.
"I'll miss both of you." The mother kisses them on the forehead.
"Send them away now." The father glared at his older sons. The father didn't even dare to look behind him; I can't see his face because his back is facing me.
"Yes, father." The sons took the twins and left the room.
There was silence between the Empresses and the Emperor.
They were talking about something, but I couldn't hear it.
Then I felt my body being move, and I heard someone crying and calling my name. I woke up lying down at the hospital wing.
"What happened..." I groan as I sat.
"Don't move yet; you and the boys fainted," said Fred.
The boys?
I looked around and saw three boys sitting on the mattress looking at me, a dark bag under their eyes too.
"The four of you haven't been eating at all; that's the reason why you four fainted." Aunt Poppy shook her head; she went over to the boys and gave them a drink.
"Oh..." I whispered and lowered my head.
"You four fainted at the class."
Oh great...
"Y/N, you have to take care of yourself. Please, do it for Kayden. Do you think that Kayden would be happy seeing-"
"Do not talk about her..."
Silence fell on the room; no one dares to talk.
"I'm going to my room and rest." I slowly stood up, "careful." Uncle Severus said.
"I'll guide her back." Uncle Severus said.
Grandpa, my aunts and uncles nodded.
While uncle Severus and I were going to my room, not with the other Slytherins. "Y/N, you have to look after yourself."
"She's... she's gone... I should have done something, and I already noticed how pale she look each day... If I knew it sooner, I could have saved her." I whimpered.
Uncle Severus sighed and stood in front of me and crouch on my height "Y/N." he held my shoulder "it is not your fault, so don't feel bad. She knew this would happen, that's why she gave me this." he pulled out a letter from his rob and gave it to me.
I looked at the back, and it says, "To my best friend, Y/N."
I opened the letter and started reading it.
I held the letter shakingly, and I sob silently. I felt arms around me, and it was uncle Severus hugging me. "It's alright, cry it out."
After some minutes of crying, he hurried me off to my room; I changed into my nightgown and laid down on my bed.
The diary...
I stood up and went to my study table and took the diary out of the drawer, and it's Tom's diary. The last time I saw him was the time in the headmaster office and with uncle Hagrid.
I was the one who took the diary from Harry's dorm.
How? Is it the diary? That put him there at that past? But why that past? Why have to be a memory that I am in?
I sat down to that chair and took a quill, and started writing.
'Hello, Tom'
'Hello, it seems like someone took the book. This is not Harry nor Ginny.'
Ginny? How? What?
'No, this is not Harry nor Ginny. This is someone else.'
'May I know your name?'
'I can't tell you.'
'It is fine then, so, what happened? How did you know about my diary?'
'I just want to talk to someone, and Harry
Told me about your diary. And...'
'Tell me.'

"This match has been cancelled," Professor McGonagall called through the megaphone, addressing the packed stadium. There were boos and shouts. Oliver Wood, looking devastated, landed and ran toward Professor McGonagall without getting off his broomstick.
"But, Professor!" he shouted. "We've got to play - the cup - Gryffindor--"
Professor McGonagall ignored him and continued to shout through her megaphone:
"All students are to make their way back to the House common rooms, where their Heads of Houses will give them further information. As quickly as you can, please!"
Then she lowered the megaphone and beckoned Harry over to her.
"Potter, I think you'd better come with me..."
Wondering how she could possibly suspect him this time, Harry saw Ron detach himself from the complaining crowd; he came running up to them as they set off toward the castle. To Harry's surprise, Professor McGonagall didn't object.
"Yes, perhaps you'd better come, too, Weasley..."
Some of the students swarming around them were grumbling about the match being cancelled; others looked worried. Harry and Ron followed Professor McGonagall back into the school and up the marble staircase. But they weren't taken to anybody's office this time.
"This will be a bit of a shock," said Professor McGonagall in a surprisingly gentle voice as they approached the infirmary. "There has been another attack... another double attack."
Harry's insides did a horrible somersault. Professor McGonagall pushed the door open, and he and Ron entered. . Madam Pomfrey was bending over a fifth-year girl with long, curly hair. Harry recognised her as the Ravenclaw, Penelope Clearwater they'd accidentally asked for directions to the Slytherin common room. And on the bed next to her was...
"Hermione!" Ron groaned.
Hermione lay utterly still, her eyes open and glassy.
"They were found near the library," said Professor McGonagall. "I don't suppose either of you can explain this? It was on the floor next to them..."
She was holding up a small, circular mirror.
Harry and Ron shook their heads, both staring at Hermione.
"I will escort you back to Gryffindor Tower," said Professor McGonagall heavily. "I need to address the students in any case."
