Did she found out about it? Is it why she's furious? Mostly at me, that's why she told me she needs to talk?
"Yes, I found out about it." Her eyebrows frown as she glared into my soul.
Wait, did she just read my mind?
"You sure are a real prick, aren't you? Not going for the tryout? Yet you got my position on the damn Quidditch, not even bothering to ask me if you can get my position? Aren't you a selfish git." she steps closer as she pokes her index finger on my chest.
"Also... Buy the team broomstick so that they will let you in...?" she lowers her head.
Y/N lifted her head as her eyes glow red "How pathetic, Malfoy." she looks down on me.
I drop on my knees due from the pressure she's giving; I swallowed my saliva. I couldn't open my mouth; my throat became dry. Can't speak. Can't breathe.
Her eyes turn red... What?
I tried to open my mouth once again, trying to make a noise "I-I'm sorry..." my voice finally came out.
"Tch... Go for the tryout and if you pass... I'll give you my position... But only for this year, nothing more." she grimaced at me and walked away.
"Got in trouble, huh? Knob head."
I turned around to the owner of the voice, and it was Kayden Knight, I stood up and strolled closer.
"Not a single word." I bump my shoulder to her shoulder.
"By the way... I don't like how you look like a guy... You better change." I said, and walked away.

I need to empty my mind; I sit up from my bed and checked if Kayden is asleep. And she is sleeping.
"Thank goodness." I breathe out as I place my hand to my chest.
I slowly got out of my bed, wore my sandals and took my green robes. "Should I grab my wand?" I whispered to myself as I placed my finger to my chin.
"Nah, I'll be fine."
I went to the door and slowly closed it; I checked the common room if someone is awake, and it seems like everyone is asleep. It is midnight anyway. I tried to keep my footsteps as quiet as possible.
If only I can fly...
I sighed and closed my eyes "as if that's going to happen." I opened my eyes once again, and I felt my head hit something. I looked up, and it seems like it's the ceiling.
I looked down "Bloody hell... I'm flying." I smirked, I zoomed around the common room and passed down. I got out of the entrance.
"Y/N? Sweetheart, what are you doing in the middle of the night?" the portrait of the Slytherin common room entrance spoke.
"I can't sleep... I'm going for a walk, please don't tell anyway." I gave her a puppy look.
She signed and nodded "Go before someone sees you." I smiled "bye-bye, I'll be back soon."
I quietly got away from the portraits in Hogwarts; I got off from uncle Flinch too. And Mrs Norris saw me but nodded at me and walked away.

Once I got to the forest, I looked around first just to make sure "Bloody hell. I hope no one will see me." I took a deep breath and transformed.
I am not sure what I have transformed into, but I feel small, I spot a puddle and walk there on fours. The moon is shining brightly as I can see my reflection.
It's the white nine tail fox, but smaller ones. I guess if I grow my forms will grow too since im still twelve. I ran to the forest, excited for the freedom I longed for.
As I was playing and jumping around on my fox form, my ears perked up; there was a noise coming from a bush.
I walked backwards, waiting for the animal or person to come out, and it did, it was a wolf. A small wolf. A cub.
It jumps on me as both of us rolled around. I think I made a new friend.
It barked at me trapping me on their paws, but then it changed into a human form. "I know your smell! You're Y/N!" She grinned at me.
My eyes went wide as I transform back to my usual form, "wait, aren't you a Hufflepuff? Also, you're a second-year because I remember seeing you on the same boat as my friends." I smiled widely as I pointed at her.
She nodded her head "yup! That's right!" she laughs, oh dear. She's so nice.
"Since you know my name, what's yours?" both of us sat down to the ground. "My name? Oh yeah! It's Amaris! Amaris Lupus." she smiles.
Lupus... Why does it sound familiar...
"My brother told me that you two danced at Malfoy's birthday ball."
Bingo
"Wolfgang is your brother?" I asked she nodded her head.
"By the way, are you an animagus? Because you were in a wolf form just a moment ago."
"oh that... Umm, no? I'm a shapeshifter. It runs to the family." she shrugs.
"So, your... Your brother is also a wolf?" she nodded once more "yeah he is! He told me a story about-"
But then there was a loud growl, everything felt slow. Amaris jumped in front of me, protecting me. It was the same one, the same wolf as before.
"Ah! Brother! You found us, hahaha." Amaris scratch her nape as she laughs awkwardly.
Brother!? That means that Wolfgang!
"Brother Wolfgang, look who I found. It's Y/N; she's the scent we smelled a while ago." the wolf stopped growling and walked back a bit and transformed.
"And the fox we saw?" He asked as he walked towards us "yup! It's her." Amaris gave me a side hug.
I shall keep her; whoever hurt her will taste my wrath. I'm sure Kayden would love to keep her.
The three of us chat, turn into our animal form and run around the forest until we saw the sunset.

It has been weeks ever since we spoke Y/N, every time we saw each other. She doesn't talk to us; she would only nod and walk away with the others. All this, it's because of that professor. It's all his fault.

Also, I had to wake up early for practice. Once I got to the practice, I saw the Gryffindor team were already in the changing room. Wood was the only person who looked truly awake. Fred and George were sitting, puffy-eyed and tousle-haired, next to fourth-year Alicia Spinnet, who seemed to be nodding off against the wall behind her. Her fellow Chasers, Katie Bell and Angelina Johnson, were yawning side by side opposite them.
"There you are, Harry, what kept you?" Said Wood. "Now, I wanted a quick talk with you all before we get onto the field, because I spent the summer devising a whole new training program, which I really think will make all the difference..."
Wood was holding up a large diagram of a Quidditch field, on which were drawn many lines, arrows, and crosses in different colored inks. He took out his wand, tapped the board, and the arrows began to wiggle over the diagram like caterpillars. As Wood launched into a speech about his new tactics, Fred Weasley's head drooped right onto Alicia Spinnet's shoulder and he began to snore.
The first board took nearly twenty minutes to explain, but there was another board under that, and a third under that one. I sank into a stupor as Wood droned on and on.
"So," said Wood, at long last, jerking me from a nostalgic fantasy about what I could be eating for breakfast at this very moment up at the castle. "Is that clear? Any questions?"
"I've got a question, Oliver," said George, who had woken with a start. "Why couldn't you have told us all this yesterday when we were awake?" Wood wasn't pleased.
"Now, listen here, you lot," he said, glowering at them all. "We should have won the Quidditch cup last year. We're easily the best team. But unfortunately - owing to circumstances beyond our control--"
"So this year, we're going to train earlier, harder, and longer! Okay, let's go and put our new theories into practice!" Wood shouted, seizing his broomstick and leading the way out of the locker rooms. Stiff-legged and still yawning, as we followed.
He acts differently to Y/N if she's here he would be a tad nice to us.
We've had been in the locker room so long that the sun was up altogether now, although remnants of mist hung over the grass in the stadium. I walked onto the field; and saw Ron and Hermione sitting in the stands.
"Aren't you finished yet?" called Ron incredulously.
"Haven't even started," I said, looking jealously at the toast and marmalade Ron and Hermione had brought out of the Great Hall. "Wood's been teaching us new moves."
"By the way, Harry... Have you perhaps talked to Y/N?" Hermione asked as she looked down to her feet. She hasn't spoken to her; she's scared that Y/N might snap at her. Because Kayden has already yelled at her last time and she cried.
I sighed "No, not yet. But I'll try." I mounted my broomstick and kicked at the ground, soaring up into the air. The cool morning air whipped my face, waking me far more effectively than Wood's long talk. It felt wonderful to be back on the Quidditch field. I soared right around the stadium at full speed, racing Fred and George.
"What's that funny clicking noise?" announced Fred as we hurtled around the corner.
I looked into the stands. Colin was sitting in one of the highest seats, his camera raised, taking picture after picture, the sound strangely magnified in the deserted stadium.
"Look this way, Harry! This way!" he cried shrilly.
Oh no... Colin.
"Who's that?" Said Fred.
"No idea," I lied, putting on a spurt of speed that took me as far away as possible from Colin.
"What's going on?" said Wood, frowning, as he skimmed through the air toward us. "Why's that first year taking pictures? I don't like it. He could be a Slytherin spy, trying to find out about our new training program."
"He's in Gryffindor," I said quickly.
"And the Slytherins don't need a spy, Oliver," said George.
"What makes you say that?" said Wood testily.
"Because they're here in person," said George, pointing.
What? Also, that means Y/N is with them. I can take this chance to talk to her.
Several people in green robes were walking onto the field, broomsticks in their hands.
I saw Wood eyes squinted "What the... I don't believe it!" Wood hissed in outrage. "I booked the field for today!"
Crossing the courtyard from the other side are five boys in green robes, also carrying broomsticks. At their lead is Marcus Flint, Slytherin Captain.
Hold up, where's Y/N? She should be here.
"Isn't Y/N supposed to be with them? Or is she just behind the back? But like she mostly beside Flint." Fred said as he looked for the certain Slytherin girl.
"Yeah but I don't see her." I spoke.
Wood shot toward the ground, landing rather harder than he meant to in his anger, staggering slightly as he dismounted. Fred, and George and I followed.
"Flint!" Wood bellowed at the Slytherin Captain. "This is our practice time! We got up specially! You can clear off now!"
Marcus Flint was even larger than Wood. He had a look of trollish cunning on his face as he replied, "Plenty of room for all of us, Wood."
"But I booked the field!" said Wood, positively spitting with rage. "I booked it!"
"Why are so mad about it? The field is vast enough for both teams to practice." Adrian Pucey spoke as to be looked down on us.
"Also, I've got a note." Flint handed the note as Wood snatches them parchment from Flint's hand
"' I, Professor Severus Snape, do at this moment give the Slytherin team permission to practice today, owing to the need for a tryout for the new seeker and chaser.'"
"Tryout? You've got a new seeker and chaser?" Two figures came to the front from behind the five large figures before they went to a seventh, smaller boy, smirking all over his pale, pointed face. It was Draco Malfoy.
And an emotionless girl, but who looked annoyed."Only if he tryout then there will be a new seeker but if now, ha. You be a chaser."
"Y/N? Malfoy?"

BODY&SHADOW
AN ILLUSTRATED NOVEL • UPDATES TUESDAY AND FRIDAY In a time before living memory, the King Dragon of the Void watched the world and realized there was a crack. He realized that humanity was destroying the rock upon which they lived; they leaked life’s code into the churning chaos. At first the change was imperceptible: nanites overtook microorganisms, bacteria, viruses, amoebas. Insects became increasingly inorganic; birds and lizards followed soon after. Even humans were infected by their own advances, cell by cell, till there was not a person left on earth who wasn’t at least part synthetic, the product of a prior generation’s carelessness. The world’s population was ravaged by mechanical viruses with no vaccines; they were mercilessly overtaken by bacteria that knew no death. Soon, most of the planet was empty and only a handful remained who remembered the hedonist realm they came from; only a few were left who remembered what the world looked like when their buildings touched the sky. The King Dragon of the Void watched the rock turn. He watched humans cower as the Old World fell down around them; watched their great monuments crumble into dusty ruins; watched their codes become precious, ancient gem memories forged under the crushing pressure of so many fallen stones. The world has spun many times around the sun since chaos swallowed man whole. It is a simpler time than the one that died out, but the people now are not immune to the folly of the people before. There is old code everywhere: in the water, in the air, in the trees. The heart of man has been replaced by power cores, many of which are hard-coded with preternatural abilities—when they die, an esoteric mountain sect collects their cores and stores them in their hollow mountain home to preserve the sanctity and dignity of human death. They’ve learned to harness artifacts of the old world, gemstones full of codes their nanite infused bodies can parse as spells imbuing their users with great power; they inlay them into their bodies, into their skins, connected to their cores by copper conduit and gold tracers; they dress themselves in tattoos to advertise their prowess; they battle for relics in arenas, fight for them in the open world wherever they are found. The King Dragon of the Void watches the rock turn and wonders: when will this hunger finally make the rock stop spinning? WELCOME TO FANXING CITY … Twenty-five years ago, Fanxing City and the surrounding lands were commanded by the mad King Zao Beiguan. For many years, the King hoarded wealth, artifacts, food; he demanded tribute from a people already taxed to the edges of their existence and expected they be happy with their circumstances. Noncompliance was often punished harshly, bodies displayed proudly on Fanxing’s streets as a warning, from the city gates to the Zao palace’s golden doors. The youths of several prominent clans came together to overthrow the tyrant and made names for themselves as legendary heroes across the land: Tian, Ren, Feng, Gui, Ma, and Zhenxi. Even wanderers from the Luanshi sect descended from Yunji mountain to aid the rebellion. When the dust settled after three years, Tian Yunyong ascended the throne of Fanxing and swore to honour his slain father’s memory, and has maintained Fanxing’s peace with generosity and mercy where fear and cruelty once reigned.
