I spun around. There, his black robes rippling in a cold breeze, stood Severus Snape, my uncle.

And at this moment, he was smiling in a way that told me, that I, Harry and Ron, are in severe trouble.

"He-hello, uncle. It's nice to see you again." I gulped down my saliva, feeling my throat becoming dry.

"Follow me," said uncle Severus.

Not daring even to look at each other, Harry, Ron and I followed uncle Severus up the steps into the vast, echoing entrance hall, which is lit with flaming torches. A delicious smell of food was wafting from the Great Hall, but uncle Severus led us away from the warmth and light, down a narrow stone staircase that led into the dungeons.

"In!" he said, opening a door halfway down the cold passageway and pointing.

He's mad.

We entered uncle Severus's office, shivering. The dark walls are lined with shelves of large glass jars, in which floated all manner of disgusting things the boys didn't want to know the name of at the moment. The fireplace was dark and empty. Uncle closed the door and turned to look at us.

"So," he said softly, "the train isn't good enough for the famous Harry Potter and his faithful sidekick Weasley. Wanted to arrive with a bang, did we, boys?"

"No, sir, it was the barrier at King's Cross, it--"

"Silence!" said Snape coldly. "What have you done with the car?" Ron gulped. This wasn't the first time uncle had given Harry the impression of being able to read minds. But a moment later, I'm sure he understood, as uncle unrolled today's issue of the Evening Prophet.

"You were seen," he hissed, showing us the headline: FLYING FORD ANGLIA MYSTIFIES MUGGLES. He began to read aloud: "Two Muggles in London convinced they saw an old car flying over the Post Office tower... at noon in Norfolk, Mrs Hetty Bayliss while hanging out her washing... Mr Angus Fleet, of Peebles, reported to police... Six or seven Muggles in all. I believe your father works in the Misuse of Muggle Artifacts Office?" he said.

"Do you have any idea how serious this is? You have risked the exposure of our world. Not to mention the damage you inflicted on a Whomping Willow that's been on these grounds since before you were born." uncle Severus went on.

"Honestly, Professor Snape, I think it did more damage to us," said Ron.

"Silence! And you two even got Y/N to your problem!" he yelled.

He's furious.

He stood up from his seat and moved closer to us "I assure you, that were you in Slytherin and your fate rested with me, the both of you would be on the train home- tonight. As it is..."

"They are not."

We all turned around to the owner of the voice "Professor Dumbledore. Professor McGonagall." said Harry.

"Grandpa... Aunt Minnie..."

"Headmaster, these boys have flouted the Decree for the Restriction of Underage Wizardry. As such--" he pointed at the boys.

Um, uncle? I am also part of the problem?

"I am well aware of our bylaws, Severus, having written quite a few of them myself. However, as head of Gryffindor house, it is for Professor McGonagall to determine the appropriate action."

"We'll go and get our stuff, then." Ron looked down.

"What are you talking about, Mr Weasley?" said Aunt Minnie.

"You're going to expel us, aren't you?"

"Not today, Mr Weasley." Harry and Ron looked at each other and smiled. "But, I must impress on both of you the seriousness of what you have done. I will be writing to your families tonight, and you will both receive a detention."

After some minutes, the four of them left. Me and uncle Severus are alone. There was silence in the room.

"I'm...I'm sorry."

"What did I tell you about this Y/N? I told you to not stick with them! Look what happened! Muggles saw you three!" he slammed his hands to the desk.

To my instincts, I flinched "but uncle, we were late! The barrier got sealed! We couldn't go through it! So we had no choice, we couldn't get on the train!"

"Then you should have gone to the Leaky Cauldron instead Y/N! Or maybe send us a letter from an owl! But not doing something dangerous!" he yelled once more.

"I'm sorry..." I bit my bottom lip, stopping myself from crying.

"Stick with your Slytherin friends, Knight, Parker, Grey and Hamilton. Detention, for a week." He said.

"Yes... Uncle..."

Once I left the office, closing the entrance. A good-looking classmate greeted me, which made me jump "Blimey, Kayden. Don't scare me like that."

She nodded "I just and to inform you that, we might stay with the others in the Slytherin dungeon." both of us started walking to the slammer.

"And why is that?" I asked.

"Well, unfortunately, your grandfather told me we should be with the other Slytherins more often." she groans.

"but does that mean we have to be with... You know, Pansy and the other girls."

"No, we got our rooms. I even thought I'll be with one boy's dorm, since how I look but. Your dear grandpapa let me stay with you." she chuckled.

"stop mocking me, don't call him grandpapa. He's not your grandpa; he's my grandpa." I frown at her.

She then smirks "oh my, Y/N. You sure are possessive. But like I want him to be my grandpapa too" she fake pouted.

"stop that, you look ridiculous." I made a disgusted expression.

She burst laughing while clutching her stomach. Once we got to the outside of the Slytherin common portrait.

"password."

"Pureblood" I answered.

"That's lame. The password never changes also some of the Slytherins are not even pureblood, for example, your uncle. Professor Snape is not even pureblood. He's half-blood, yet he's in Slytherin." Kayden ranted.

"That is authentic true, not all Slytherin's are pureblood. How about you? Are you a pureblood?"

Who am I kidding? Of course, she is, she's with the Royals.

"Oh look, they're still awake."

Why do you keep avoiding conversations?

"Well, well, well. Look who we have here, finally decided to join us here in this dull common room?" Henry smirked.

There they are, Henry and Benjamin. Relaxing to the couch, arm crossed and feet on the table. Along with Easton, he is reading his books while his leg crossed.

"feet off the table." Kayden groan, as she sat to one of the armchairs.

"No, Kayden told me that my grandfather told her to say to me that we have to stay here. But we have our own room." I sighed and sat at the opposite armchair facing Kayden.

"Also he told us to spend time with you guys." I continue. "Dont you like that? Spending time with us?" Ben asked.

"You guys are no fun; you guys don't have an adventure." I bit my inner cheek.

"At least we don't put our life in line." Henry raised his eyebrows while eyeing me.

"Also, bold you to assume we don't have an adventure." Kayden took a flask out and took a sip.

"What in the bloody world is that?" I pointed at the flask.

"Potion, more like my medicine."

"Are you going to stay looking like... Like a guy?" Ben asked Kayden fidgeting his fingers.

"Why?"

"Because-"

"You said you're a girl yet you look like a guy. And it's irritating me-the three of us." Henry glared at her. What's with the tension here? Between these three boys and her.

"How many times do I have to tell you this bullshit." Kayden growled.

"Gu-guys. Please don't fight." I stood up.

"Why does the tension feel like it's going to be a murder anytime soon." A voice join.

We all looked up, and it was the others, Slytherin boys.

"Yeah, that's true. And who's this kid." Marcus pointed at Kayden.

"Point at me one more time; I'll cut your finger." she glared at them, she stood up and left the common room.

"Kayden! You're not allowed to be out! It is night already! We'll lose points!" I ran after her.

But once I got out, she was gone.

I went back inside the common room, and all the boys were there already.

"What happened?" Draco asked.

"I don't know..."

"Puberty." Everett Martin spoke, our prefect.

A few minutes later, of talking, we all headed to our dorms. In my room, two beds were facing each other, which is her bed.

I changed my clothes to my pyjamas, went to bed and drift to sleep.

No way... I'm back.

"Y/n...? Is... Is that you?" I spun and finally met him, .

"Tom!" I smiled and immediately jumped to him and embraced him.

"Where have you been." he said as he hugged me tightly not letting me go.

"I'm sorry. I couldn't find time to come to visit you, but I promise you. I'll visit you once again." we both separate from each other, and I smiled at him.

"I miss you."

"I miss you so much."

Smiling at each other, nose touching.

The next day, I woke up. No one was already on the bed in front of me, the room I share with her.

Once I did routine in the morning, I got out from my dorm and headed downstairs. My friends were there already waiting.

"Took you long enough." Easton chuckled when I rolled my eyes.

"Let's go to the great hall. I am hungry." Henry said as he placed his arms around my shoulder.

The four of us walked together, feeling uncomfortable and feeling empty because Kayden is not with us. Not being used to three guys and one girl. It's mostly three boys and two girls.

"Do you guys know where she is?" I asked them.

"Who?" Henry asked.

"Kayden..." Ben stopped, and his eyes widen as he stared at his left side; we all glanced where he was looking at.

We found her standing at the end of the hallway. All. Bloody.

"Bloody hell..." Easton eyes widen along with Henry.

"What, what time is it?" She asked as she wipes her face.

"It-it's eight o'clock."

"What happened to you?" I asked as I walked towards her.

"Nothing serious." she bit her lip.

"Knight!? What happened!?" We all turned around to the voice, and it was Hermione and the Gryffindors.

"Great... All attention, I'm going to the hospital wing." Kayden walked away from us.

"Is that kid finally going to puberty?" Percy asked.

"Period?" We all girls glared at Ron.

Things started to go downhill from breakfast in the Great Hall. The four long house tables were laden with tureens of porridge, plates of kippers, mountains of toast, and dishes of eggs and bacon, beneath the enchanted ceiling (today, a dull, cloudy grey).

Harry and Ron sat down at the Gryffindor table next to Hermione, who had her copy of Voyages with Vampires propped open against a milk jug. At the same time, I went to the Slytherin table.

"Mail's due any minute - I think Gran's sending a few things I forgot." I heard Neville talked.

"Mails is today?" I mumble.

I only just started my porridge when, sure enough, there was a rushing sound overhead and a hundred or so owls streamed in, circling the hall and dropping letters and packages into the chattering crowd. A big, lumpy package bounced off Neville's head and, a second later, something large and gray fell into Hermione's jug, spraying them all with milk and feathers.

Red came with a letter once again; it has the same wax seal from before. I opened the letter and started reading.

I felt my body trembled; someone is going to die. I have to stop that. I am not letting that person die.

"Y/n? Are you alright?" I snapped out from my thoughts. "Huh? Yeah? Why do you ask, Draco?" I smiled.

"Your face got paled, and you look like you saw someone ."

Then another noise came. "Its the falcon!" we all looked up and saw a bird who is not an owl at all but has a letter.

It was going on a circle, couldn't find it's the owner. Once we had eye contact, it went flying towards me fast. And dropped the letter.

"That's Kayden's falcon. I suppose something happened. She's not here at all, could you give that to her letter?" Aunt Minnie walked towards me. I nodded and looked at the letter.

I feel... Something is wrong, and in the letter, there's something important going on.
