Flaming Christmas puddings followed the turkey. Percy nearly broke his teeth on a silver sickle embedded in his slice.
Harry watched Hagrid getting redder and redder in the face as he called for more wine, finally kissing Professor McGonagall on the cheek, who, to Harry's amazement, giggled and blushed, her top hat lopsided.
The professor called after you and started kissing your cheek due to their drunkness.
You giggled from it because of some of the professors has a beard.
"Hahaha! It tickles! Hahaha!" You giggled as Dumbledore kisses your cheek.
"Go to your friends now, also maybe..." Your grandpa lean closer.
"Maybe give them a peck on the cheek." He whispered to your ears and winked.

I can feel my cheeks heat, "Gra-grandpapa! No!" I covered my face.
I peak through my hands; the boys were looking at me. I felt my cheeks even hotter.
"Come on; your friends are waiting for you. You can maybe do that when later before going to sleep." He patted my back and pushed me forward to go back to my friends.
Once I sat down, Ron asked a question. "You alright, Y/N? You look red."
"H-huh? Yeah, I'm al-alright." I looked down at my plate; the words from my grandpa keeps bothering me.
Should I maybe do it later? Like a Christmas kiss or something?
"Hey, wanna have a snowball fight?" Fred asked.
"Sure, but we have to have teams," I said.
"Should we have two pairs or three vs. three?" Harry said as he munches his food.
"Three, I guess?"
"Alright then, let's go!" The six of us got up and went out; of course, we changed our outfits because of the cold.
Once we got outside, the wind passed by. "Merlin me, it's cold." I whimper.
"Should we go back inside?" Percy asked as he stands beside me.
"Nope! It's fine, and also I want to play a snowball fight." I grinned.
"Tell me when you get cold, we'll immediately go inside." He wrapped his arms around my shoulder.
But then a snowball hit his face, my eyes widened and looked at the boys who did it.
It wasn't a surprise; it was the Weasley twins.
"Oy! Hands off! Don't you have that fellow prefect, Ravenclaw!-" Fred said.
"-Yeah! Clearwater!" George continues.
"You two have been very close lately!"
I slowly looked up to Percy, I sighed. I walked towards Harry and Ron.
"Guys, I don't feel good. I'm going back to my room. Also, it's getting a bit late now, sorry about this." I gave them a sad smile.
"It's alright; I hope you get well soon." Harry smiled at me.
"Yeah, maybe next time we can play," Ron added.
"Thanks a lot." I bid goodbye to the twins and went to my dorm, ignoring Percy.
I know I'm such an idiot for liking him, but he's not the only one who I have feelings for! There is also Oliver, Cedric, and Harry after we became close.
A bit of the twins, Ron, Terence, and many more! It's just they are friendly, and it makes me want to have feelings for them. I just don't understand.

I changed my clothes to my pajamas; I walked towards my bed and grabbed my brush.

I gently brush my hair as I keep staring at the mirror in front of me.
"I wonder how my parents look like..." I sighed and looked down.
Come on, Y/N; we already talked about this. They died while saving me from the bad guys.
But grandpa doesn't even have a single picture of them; I don't know if I have siblings or not.
"Maybe they were the people who were in my dream, the people who told me that it wasn't my time yet..." I mumbled, I placed my brush to my nightstand and laid down to my bed.
I closed my eyes and slowly went to sleep.
"What are you doing here." I turned around to find the owner of the voice.
"Huh?" I looked around, and it seems like I was still at the Hogwarts and wearing a Slytherin uniform.
"Who are you." He stared down right at me; his eyes were blue-gray(in the movie), brown hair, and he's good-looking.
It seems like he's also a Slytherin, he's quite tall. "Answer my question." His eyes narrowed.
"I-I, I am Y-Y/N."
"Y/N... How odd, I don't remember anyone in the Hogwarts has a name Y/N."
His stares are fierce; he's not even smiling at all, he's too serious.
"We-well, um, screw this." I turned around and about to run, but he yanked my back collar.
"No, I am not letting you go until you tell me what you are doing here at this hour."
"I didn't do anything; I just came just seconds ago. Umm, I couldn't sleep, so I went out to walk around." I lied my eyes.
"What year are you even in." He spoke.
"What about you? Also, what's all with these questions and one more thing, can you let go of me?" I turned around to him but didn't realize that our faces were only inches away.
Kayden was right... I have a complex towards older boys, bloody hell!
"And why would I do that? What if you try to run away again. Also, I'm in the third year." He scowled at me.
Then he paused for a second, then he smirks, "Are you perhaps scared of me?"
"Me? Scared? Ha! I'm a Slytherin, and there's no way I am scared. People should be scared of me, not me being scared of them. And I'm in the first year." I growled at him; his face went closer to mine.
I can feel his breath to my face; he stares down at me as we both having a glaring battle.
"Riddle, what's going on here." I recognized that voice.
"Oh no, oh no." I pulled away and looked around where I could hide.
"Bloody hell." I went behind him and hid under his robes.
"Riddle, how come you are still out. It's alright past curfew." I heard grandpa's voice.
"Professor, my apologies, but we were at the library." The boy places his hands behind his back, but it's my back since I'm hiding behind him.
"Well then, you two better get back to your dorm and seems like your classmate is shy." I heard him chuckled.
"She is, now, if you excuse us. We'll be going back to our dorms." He started walking as I clenched his attire and followed him.

"Password."
"Pureblood."
Then he started walking again, "we are inside the common room now, you may get out."
I went out of his robes and looked around "It looks the same."
"By the way." I turned around to face him, "who are you?"
"Riddle, Tom Riddle."

"Where are we going?" I asked.
"Somewhere." He grabbed my hand as both of us run outside.
"The lake?"
"Sit." He pointed at the grass; I did what I was told.
I sat down, then he sat down beside me, but then he placed his head to my lap, laying down.
"Umm, Tom... Wh-what are you doing." I gulped; he looked up at me.
"Resting and reading." He said he opened his book and began to read.
I placed my hand on his hair, gently playing with it.
"Why do you like my hair so much."
"Because it's soft.", he smiles at me.
I felt my heartbeat to fast, oh no, I'm in trouble.
But then I woke up by a noise outside, I looked around, and it seems like I'm back to my room.
I looked at my clothes, and I am back with my pajamas. i stood up and went over the window; there was an owl.
I took the letter, and the owl started to fly away, "who would send a letter at this hour." I mumbled.
I checked the letter out and opened the letter and read it.
"See you soon."
There is no even a name, not signature. I don't think it's the people who always send me a letter.
But it's not them, and I noticed that they or this person did not even wright 'Anonymous,' and it wasn't also starting with 'dear.'
"Who in the world..." I breathe out, "I'm going to take a walk."
I placed a slipper and went out of my dorm; I walked through the hallway, then went to the library.
But then I noticed something... A floating lamp.
"Harry." I almost broke into laughter.
I slowly creep behind him; I gently went under the cover with him.
"What do you think you're doing here," I whispered, he jumped and turned around.
Our faces are a few inches away, this scene... It the same with Tom...
"Oh, Godric! You scared me there, Y/N." He whisper-yelled at me.
"Sorry about that." I chuckled and grin.
"But Harry, what are you doing here in the middle of the night?" I asked.
"Looking for Flamel." He said.
"Oh, I'll help you then." I smiled.
"Thanks a lot, Y.N."

Both of you went to the Restricted Section was right at the back of the library. Stepping carefully over the rope that separated these books from the rest of the library, he held up his lamp as you read the titles.
They didn't tell him much. Their peeling faded gold letters spelled words in languages Harry couldn't understand, and yet you understand all of the books somehow.
Some had no title at all. One book had a dark stain on it that looked horribly like blood.
The hairs on the back of Harry and Y/N's neck prickled. Maybe you both imagined it, perhaps not, but Harry thought a faint whispering was coming from the books, as though they knew someone was there who shouldn't be.
You both had to start somewhere. Setting the lamp down carefully on the floor, you looked along the bottom shelf for an interesting looking book. A large black and silver volume caught your eye.
You pulled it out with difficulty, because it was cumbersome, and, balancing it on your knee, let it fall open.
A piercing, bloodcurdling shriek split the silence -- the book was screaming! Harry snapped it shut, but the shriek went on and on one high, unbroken, earsplitting note.
You both looked at each other with a horrified expression. You both stumbled backward and knocked over his lamp, which went out at once.
Panicking, Harry heard footsteps coming down the corridor outside -- stuffing the shrieking book back on the shelf, he grabbed your hand and you two-run.
You both passed Filch in the doorway; Filch's pale, wild eyes looked straight through you two, and Harry and you slipped under Filch's outstretched arm and streaked off up the corridor, the book's shrieks still ringing in his ears.
"Harry, I'm so scared. I know we are doing some right, but at the same time, I do not want us to get trouble." You held his hand shakingly.
"Don't worry, Y/N; I won't let us get in trouble. Especially you." He placed his hand our your cheek, and both of you stared at each other.
You both came to a sudden halt in front of a tall suit of armor. The two of you had been so busy getting away from the library, and he hadn't paid attention to where he was going.
Perhaps because it was dark, he didn't recognize where he was at all. There was a suit of armor near the kitchens, he knew, but he must be five floors above there.
"You asked me to come directly to you, Professor, if anyone was wandering around at night, and somebody's been in the library Restricted Section. "
You gulped down your saliva, and you felt the blood drain out of your face.
Wherever you both were, Filch must know a shortcut, because his soft, greasy voice was getting nearer, and to his horror, it was Snape who replied, "The Restricted Section? Well, they can't be far, we'll catch them. "
Your eyes widen, Harry looked at you with shock face.
Harry stood rooted to the spot as Filch and Snape came around the corner ahead. They couldn't see both of you, of course, but it was a narrow corridor, and if they came much nearer, they'd knock right into them-- the cloak didn't stop them from being solid.
You two backed away as quietly as you both could. A door stood ajar to your left. It was your only hope, tapped Harry's shoulder, and pointed at the door.
You both squeezed through it, holding your breath, trying not to move it, and to your relief, you both managed to get inside the room without their noticing anything.
They walked straight past, You and Harry leaned against the wall, breathing deeply, listening to their footsteps dying away.
That had been close, very close. It was a few seconds before you noticed anything about the room you both had hidden in.

The Exodus Project
This is the original version of Origin before I rewrote it. It's much more simpler, some names and personalities are a little different. THere's nowhere near as much back story or character development/interaction. But the story is essentially at the end of book one. I wrote this 15 odd years ago, and with a bit of polish it doesn't look too bad. The story like Origin is about a group of college students who find a ship that is the last remnant of an ancient human space faring civilisation, they fix her up and go back into space. Along they way they'll meet alot of aliens, religious fundamentalists and conmen.
