"Hey heyyyy, Kazzy-boo, what cha up tooo?" Tendou asked as he and Ushiwaka sat down on either side of me.
"I'm doing homework for my next class." I muttered, my eyes darting from my book to my paper.
"Oooooh which class?"
"Math, what else?"
"Ahh geeez, math is such a paiiin!" Tendou whined, pouting at Ushiwaka as he started to eat.
"Agreed. Now can I please focus on my work?"
"I suppoooooooose." The redhead drawled.
"Hey guys!" Goshiki greeted as he, Shirabu and Semi sat down across from us. "Oh, you didn't get your work done?"
"Nope, that's why I'm doing it now!" I gave him a pointed look that said shut up, and so they all did just that.
I finished right before lunch ended, thanking my lucky stars but also cursing because I hadn't eaten at all. Goshiki must have noticed my annoyance as we walked to class because he handed me an apple and winked.
Nodding to him in thanks, I quickly bit into the fruit and savored the fluids before I swallowed. Class went well, I turned in the assignment that was due and somehow got a good mark.
"Are you gonna join us for practice this afternoon Kaz?" Goshiki asked during passing period.
"I'd better not, I need to get caught up on sleep and my studies. I've literally been-"
"KAZANE! There you are, I've been looking all over for you!" Azusa yelled as she ran over to us, panting.
"Oh, hey captain. What's up?" I asked, confused as to why she was looking for me.
"I just wanted to remind you that we have training camp starting Saturday, so make sure you're up and ready to go by 6." She told me.

"6?" I pursed my lips. "Isn't it normally 7?"
"Yeah, but we're going to be having a joint practice with the boys for the first half of the day." Azusa explained, then smiled at Goshiki. "I look forward to playing with you."
"Yeah, same here." The future ace nodded stiffly.
"Well then, I guess I'll leave you to it. See you at practice!" Azusa waved as she jogged out of the classroom, Hado waiting at the door.
"So that's your captain?" Goshiki glanced at me, and I nodded.
"Yep! She's really good at what she does."
"Cool." The bowlcut male made a mental note about the contempt he had seen in Azusa's eyes when she looked at Kazane.
"Well anyway, you better go back to your seat before class starts." I reminded him.
"Oh, right." He smiled at me before heading back to his seat that was across the classroom from me.

Practice went well, we did a lot of serving today so that definitely helped with my jump serve. I've been getting better but it still need work before I can use it in a game.
Sighing, I made sure to avoid the boy's gym and head directly to my dormitory. When I arrived, I put on more comfortable clothes and sat down at my desk to start working on the assignments I had gotten that day.
It seemed like hours as I worked, when suddenly my phone tinged. Blinking out of focus, I reached for it and opened the new message.
•••
Kazzyyyyy, come to the roof of the gymmmmmmm pleeaaseee!

My God you are weird.
Awwwwwww thank you! 🤣 hurry uuuuppppp!
•••
With a sigh, I put on my jacket seeing how cold it could get at night along with my warm up pants, grabbed my keys and phone before heading out the door.
The fact that Tendou didn't tell me outright why he wanted me to come to the gym roof kind of made me suspicious but I knew he wasn't doing anything dangerous because that's just not him, so it would probably be fine.
"Hey." Semi greeted as soon as he spotted me. The third year was leaning on the wall next to the entrance of the boy's gym, his arms crossed.
"Oh hey Semi." I smiled and nodded, "so uh, have any idea what's going on? Tendou was very vague." I told him, to which he just smirked.
"You'll find out." Was all Semi said before heading into the gym. "Come on, follow me."
"Geez you guys are weird.." I muttered under my breath as I followed him. He led me to the office in the back, then through a door which contained a flight of stairs.
At the top of the stairs, another door stood. "Alright, we're here." Semi told me, then opened the door.
"Hey Kazzy-boo!" Tendou exclaimed, drawing everyone's attention to me if it hadn't already by the loud door screeching.
"Um, hi you guys.." I glanced around, noting that everyone on the boys team was there. Not only that, but they had done up the roof. "Holy crap."
"Told ya she'd like it!" Tendou smirked at Reon who just shrugged.
"W-was this always up here?" I asked as I came through the door. Semi nodded with a hum.
"Yeah, it's been here ever since we were second years. We've been upgrading it as time went just so the team would have somewhere to just hang out."
"Then why are you showing me?" I questioned in confusion, and they all looked at me. Tendou snorted.
"Because we want you to hang out with us more often, dummy! And so whenever you wanna get away, you can come here." The redhead grinned, his hands on his hips.
"Wow, thanks guys." I grinned widely, hugging each of them.
"Oh hey it's starting soon!" Goshiki called, causing everyone to nod.
"Uhh what's happening soon?" I asked Ushiwaka. I knew he was the most likely to tell me since everyone else was trying to keep everything a secret.
"You'll see." The ace murmured, sending me a rare smile which caused my face to heat up. "Don't worry, you'll like it."
"Uuuhhhh, i-if you say so." I blinked a few times before Tendou suddenly pulled me down into the long couch and told me to close my eyes. "You guys are too extra, I swear."
"Just do it Kazzy-boo," Doing as told, I closed my eyes and waited for him to tell me to open. "Now, open em!"
"Oh wow." My eyes lit up at the sight before me. It was a meteor shower, lights zooming across the sky.
"I know right?" Tendou grinned, leaning back with his hands behind his head. Yamagata was sitting on the other side of me while Semi sat next to Tendou.
Everyone else was sitting on the other chairs, and we all just watched the show in silent awe. Tonight was definitely a night I would never forget, I thought as I glanced around at the boys and smiled.
I'm glad we all became friends.

Keys of the Endpoint
Keys of the Endpoint is an illustrated web serial about the re-birth of civilization in a fantastical world suffering from a recent apocalyptic event. Every day, people appear from the storms that ravage the Endpoint. Whisked away from their own time and place by storms in their homelands, these newcomers find themselves in a hostile place made up of ruins and people from every timeline imaginable. Stranger still, they all soon discover they're carrying silver keys that grant each holder incredible powers. On Earth, most people have mundane excuses for the disappearances, but not Isaac. Having lost his brother Finn to one of these storms, Isaac becomes obsessed with finding a pattern. Not to prevent more people disappearing, but rather to get taken by the storms himself in order to find his brother. While chasing Finn’s faint trail, Isaac soon discovers how little he really knew about himself, his brother and how much loss one person can take. In Keys of the Endpoint there's portal fantasy, personal drama, magic (useable by everyone), plenty of combat, power progression, mysteries, factions, feuds and eventually war (in that order). The magic system is well defined and modular with nigh infinite combinations. The story starts out with one of the two main characters looking for his lost brother but quickly expands in scope from that point on. Breaking Horizons: Book 1: Snared Origins
Many want to learn things from a story, while others only want fast-paced wonders. We are human and we like to dream, we are alive and we want to feel. Don’t wander outside before knowing the inside. Even if this is slow, it gives you the reader, things to behold. This is a story but also knowledge. It isn’t fast or entertaining but makes you wonder. Everything starts from something unknown, we all want to know the untold. However, can you persevere if something starts being boring? Shouldn’t entertainment start from something unexciting? Open a door to what you might know or not. Learn to dream in my unhealthy abode. Start from the garbage since that’s the place where I belong. Welcome to Raccoon’s abode. Breaking Horizons: Breaching the Fourth Dimension. A slow story that will take you on a ride towards the unknown. PS: Will make things clear here. The actual main character is a human, the raccoon is a pet for the novel. So it isn't a raccoon Isekai or reincarnation as a raccoon. I still haven't added it to the story, as I am currently doing the intro. A long intro! So the start might feel off when you read it. The story will include many genres but starts with psychological stuff and low fantasy. The whole story is an enormous puzzle, but it starts with a tiresome beginning for many. There is a reason for that... If you want to know more about this story check my discord: https://discord.gg/rZs6mem You can ask what you want to know there. Or join a bigger and cooler server where many authors hang out: https://discord.gg/2hbvq8B (Its dungeon engineer and many cool stories' server) This is my own story, so its for me only. I will not have a schedule. I left it on hiatus for a while, can't write two stories, too busy.
