ATHANASIA'S P.O.V

"A bit late but understandable." Lucas smirked, his red ruby eyes locked with mine. He stood up from the chair, walking around the table, leaning against the table with brows raised at me. "You've got your teacher waiting for you. Tsk, tsk."

I rolled my eyes at him, chuckling. "Shut up Lucas." I blurted out while walking around the library, taking a look. My eyes widened, eyebrows raised in surprise, smiling widely at how organized the shelfs and books were. "Daddy really gave the design of the library so much thought, huh?"

I froze on my foot tracks when I heard Lucas clearing his throat, looking back through my shoulder. He picked a few books up from the table where he was leaning back earlier, snapping his fingers as the books flew back to where it was supposed to be. "You should go back to your chambers now, I'm pretty sure that you were tired from that bumpy ride."

Silently agreeing with him, I nodded my head a few times before walking in front of him. "Hmm. Yeah, I guess you are indeed right. Well then, before I go back to my chambers I have a question." Lucas looked back up at me, staring straight into my eyes like he was reading my own soul making my heart jump a little, I looked away quickly. "So what's our lesson for tomorrow?"

"About the past Emperors and Empresses, and what they've done to help Obelia." He replied, before standing up straight, stretching his arms. "Now that I've answered your question-" He paused, holding both of my shoulders lightly, we both walked in front of the doors. Lucas opens the door before pushing me softly outside the library. "Good night then."

He did not even give me a chance to greet me back because he quickly closed the door in front of my face making me scoff with a sarcastic smile plastered on my face. "Seriously, that guy!" I was about to continue on venting but stopped when I heard someone from my left clearing their throat. "Oh--Lily!"

"Your Highness, let's prepare your bath and dinner with His Majesty, shall we?" I nodded my head with a smile, as we were silently walking, I could definitely hear Lily giggling behind me making me twitch an eye. "Princess, I have a question for you."

Tilting my head towards her, I raised both of my eyebrows. Anticipating to what her question was. Is it about the thing she's been silently giggling to?

"Do you perhaps have feelings for that man?" She raised both of her eyebrows at me, with a cheeky smile that made me feel like blushing. "Oh, please do not tell me. I want you to realize it all by yourself, yes? Let us go now!" Lily said before lightly pushing me to go back with walking.

I shook my head, trying to erase those thoughts inside my head. This is nothing. Yes. Yup—Hell no. This is not nothing. Oh my God!

Her Highness went inside the dining hall. I was left with Felix, with a cheeky smile, I closed the door. "Are you okay?" Felix asked, looking back at him, with a soft giggle I shook my head at him.

"No, it's nothing really." He chuckled, and nodded. He knew that I would not tell him even if he tries his best to do so. A contented smile, I bid a short goodbye to Felix because I have to fix the Princess' chambers.

There's something new about her. Those were the only things inside my head while silently looking at my daughter happily eating her meal in front of me.

I am not dumb to not notice that she's been acting very—in love lately. Who the fuck is the man? Groaning lightly, I closed my eyes tightly. "The meal—" I paused for a while the moment Athanasia's eyes settled down on me. I chuckled to myself.

Time flies so fast, she used to be so small, huh? "—is it to your taste?" I raised an eyebrow at her, she beamed and nodded her head.

"Yes Daddy! I missed meals like this really." She giggled, taking a sip. I nodded my head, it's great that she loves her meals.

I opened the library's door, welcomed with Lucas in his original form. His hair was long, a lot taller than me. His eyes raised up to me, clearing his throat he nodded his head, pointing at the table in front of his.

"Let's start off with the first Emperor, yeah?" I nodded, silently opening the book. "That old man is quite stupid but is a great leader. He made—"

He continued talking and at the same time ranting on how much stress the past Emperors gave him.

"Your Mother." I froze, my hands instantly stopped writing, as my eyes looked up at him. "She was loved by many." I bit my lower lip and nodded my head. I wish I knew her like that too, haha.

"She must have been so great, right?"

"Yes, that's why you'll be great too."

I raised both of my eyebrows at him. "What?"

"Shut up, idiot." He turned his back in front of me before proceeding to our lesson. I chuckled lightly, going back to what I was doing.

LUCAS' P.O.V

Athanasia was busy answering questions I gave her. I slowly walked to the door and saw Felix waiting, his eyes swiftly went to me, he nodded his head and I did the same.

Awkwardly clearing my throat at him, I half whispered said this—"I think she wants to see her Mother."

I closed the door but I saw in the side of my eyes how Felix's surprised face turned soft while nodding his head.
