FINALLY. The day has come, exams are now starting. I took a deep breath and looked at the sheet of paper in front of me and waited for the teacher to tell us to start answering.

I looked back and saw how Lucas smiled at me. I rolled my eyes and he chuckled lightly, of course he was having fun with my reaction! Am I a clown or something?

"You dead later." I whispered making him chuckle again, and finally Ms. Adler opened her palm and we saw a 2 hour timer there. The teacher was using her magic.

"Your 2 hours... starts now!" She said, everyone quickly opened their test papers, I heard how students silently groaned and some whispered some happy words.

I ended up smiling for I knew that I will pass this exam. As she quietly answered she didn't even notice that the 2 hour time was already finished.

"Well then everyone, thank you for participating and reviewing for the test today! You can now have your 1 hour break, come back after an hour or else."

Everyone nodded, they didn't want to be late for today! As I stood up already planning where I was going to eat and what I am going to eat because I don't want to be late, I almost screamed my lungs out when I saw Lucas beside.

"The first one and second wasn't that hard right?" He said, I nodded in response. "Better do everything you can to beat me though!"

"Yaah!" I scoffed, Lucas quickly laughed and stormed off out of the room, I smiled and ran off behind him. We were like kids. "Seriously Lucas, stop being a jerk." She blurted out making him laugh even louder.

"Oh come on, are you being my hater right now?" He looked back, still running and obviously pissing me off.

"Once I get you, I'm really really going to beat you!" I said while pouting as I started to feel that I was getting tired.

Lucas stopped and looked directly at me. "Never run when you know you get tired like this." He said, my eyes held confusion when Lucas suddenly gave me a water bottle.

Now, where did that came from? Magic? I shook my head and opened the water bottle and drank on it. Gosh, magic is so confusing!

"Oh no! Gotta buy foods—"

"Food." My eyes now widened even more when Lucas again appeared out nowhere with two tray of foods on his hand.

"Lucas how do you even?" She blinked a couple of times. "Oh! Thank you btw, but where are you getting this kind of stuff?"

"It's a secret." He said before giving the fray to me, I couldn't say no. So I was left there dumbfounded. I looked back and saw him eating. I shook my head with a little smile on my face.

The tests continued and slowly, I felt like all my sleepless nights were helping me. In part of becoming royalty, you have to impress others. Don't do anything that can make you look like you were someone low. 

And that what makes me angry. I gritted my teeth while answering, it's like they're treating us some kind of people that everything you do, they will judge you. I shook my head and just continued to read the questions.

"Congratulations for finishing your exams!" Ms. Adler quickly collected the papers using her magic, the papers were now floating up in the air and was going to her. "Well then, do have fun with the 2 days of no classes that is given for you guys! Again, congratulationss!" 

Everyone stood up except me and Lucas, they were all celebrating, as for I felt like I was suffocating or what. I tried to stand up but completely failed afterwards. 

Suddenly, I felt someone holding my shoulder. I glanced at whoever that person was.

"Lucas." I blurted out, he just gave me the 'Are you okay?' look, I nodded my head trying to ignore the fact that I was getting dizzy, my head feels so heavy.

He shook his head and leaned closer to me, making my eyes widen from shock. "You're not okay, let me help you with that." I tried standing up and felt how his hand wrapped around my waist. 

Heart was beating loudly, I can't even hear everyone that were busy talking. But I felt how their stares were making holes behind my back. Damn mind your own business or give me some medicine!

"Miss Adler, we can go now. Right?" Lucas suddenly asked making our teacher that was currently drinking some tea while looking at our papers choke. She coughed and with her widened eyes, the woman looked at us.

I saw how her eyes wandered around and ended up on Lucas' hand that was placed on my waist. I looked down as I felt a sudden rush to my face. A pinkish blush appeared on my face, as I heard Ms. Adler clear her throat. "Of course."

And with that we both left the room.

Meanwhile, as Lucas and Athanasia left the room, everyone stood up and looked at the door where they left. Some even shrieked and giggled due to what they saw.

"My, I really thought I have a chance with the Princess!" The man playfully said.

"Stop day dreaming! They look good!" A girl answered.

"How about Ejikiel though?" Another one asked.

"But still Lucas, is a worthy opponent!" A man said, but then a flying paper flew onto his face.

"As if you have a chance with her highness!"

And yes, when the two left... EVERYONE WENT CHAOTIC.

Lucas was about to let go of me when we were finally outside the door of my room, but I suddenly lost my balance and almost said hello to the floor.

"What are you doing overworking yourself even though you can't handle it?" I heard him tsk under his breath as he again helped me with standing up.

"Shut up, you brought my bag?" I asked him, and he lifted his left arm that was holding both of our bags, my tired eyes tried searching for the keys.

"You're burning." Lucas blurted out when he touched my forehead. I just nodded my head and gave him the keys. "AH, His Majesty will keep me after this." He said laughing.

"Shut-- it!" I said and when he opened the door, I couldn't even move my legs. So I closed my eyes, but when I felt like I was floating. I quickly opened it, my head hurts but what shocked me the most was I saw Lucas' face!

He was carrying me in a bridal style way! My eyes widened, he looked at me with his confused gaze. "What? You can't even walk properly." 

I looked down and tried closing my eyes again, my head was throbbing but my heart was beating loudly that I can't even calm down!

Why does it have to be like this?!
