It was chilly, the night breeze was making my hair wave a little, but I can clearly see his red ruby eyes shining brightly under the moon's light.

He went down, and stared at me. I didn't know why, but I gulped. I wanted to say thank you, but right now that he's infront of me.

I can't even speak properly infront of him. "L-Lucas" I finally muttered something! Thank God Athy, I thought I was going to embarass myself!

"Yea? What ya doing here?" He asked, still looking at me, I looked around. I don't know why but I can't keep on having eye contacts with him

My heart is going to burst!!

"I-I wanted to say thank you for.. helping me." I heard him chuckle, I looked up and saw how a small smile appeared on his face.

"Are you sure that I was the one that saved you?" He asked me, I didn't know why but I nodded. OH GOD ATHY, WHY ARE YOU DOING THIS *SCREAMS INTERNALLY*

"I just, connected the dots but even if you're not the one that saved me I wanted to say thank you for--" He suddenly went from like 3 feet away from me, to almost 5 inches away from me.

I ALMOST HAD A HEART ATTACK, IS THIS HIS MAGIC OR WHAT--

"So what if I'm the one that saved you?" He tilted his head, I gulped and tried to look down but he held my chin, his red ruby eyes were glued to my blue like diamond eyes.

I felt shivers down my spine.

"I-If you're the one that saved me of course I have to say thank you! Plus you have a bruise on your face! You got injured because of me, I need to say thank you--"

"So what now? Am I your knight--"

WHAT. OH MY GOD THIS JERK SERIOUSLY WHY IS HE ALWAYS JOKING!? I AM SERIOUS HERE!!

"Oh gosh! I just wanted to say thank you! Treat your bruise okay!? Uhm oh-" I started looking inside my bag and gave him an ointment for his bruise "-here, thank you.. for saving me."

He looked at the ointment at my hand, and grinned but still accepted it.

"Gotta go Princess." He said and suddenly disappeared.

Unbelievable. AAAAA!!!

I started kicking the air, I don't know why but he's really getting on my nerves! I'm going to punch you someday Lucas!!

I swear!!

Here I thought that I started liking him. That crazy jerk!

UHM. WHAT???

Ms. Adler was smiling widely, Ms. Alder please stop smiling!!

"We have our school festival!!" She giggled, I looked down and sighed. I should be excited right?! But why do I feel so.. nervous!?

"Well, we have our own booths and presentations for our school festival. Here are the booths" she waved her hand and suddenly an illustration came out, so she's using her magic eh?

Food Booth, Horror Booth, Marriage Booth, Picture Booth--

MARRIAGE BOOTH!?!?!

My eyes widened, WHY IS THERE A MARRIAGE BOOTH!? My eyes looked at Ms. Adler who's now smiling even more widely than earlier.

Why is this happening.

"Okay now! Let's group you guys eh?"

Blah blah blah--

"And Athanasia for the marriage booth" WHAT. THE. HECK!?!?!?! I heard Lucas chuckling, well he's happy because he was picked by our principal for the special effects team!

Argh! Is it really a good thing that he's good with controlling his magic!? Hmmp!! Slight pouting, I just nodded, I can't say no..

"Goodluck with that Princess" he said while trying not to laugh. This jerk, I swear I'm going to punch you one day!!

"Really?! HAHAHAHAHAHA!!" Jennette started laughing, she was assigned for the food booth, Ejikiel started chuckling.

Why are they laughing at me!?!?!

"Hey you guys stop making fun of me!!" I said and pouted, Jennette tried to stop laughing but failed and even laughed harder.

"I swear, if Uncle Claude found out that you were assigned to that kind of booth, they're all dead meat! HAHAHAHA it feels like fate is telling you that you're getting married soon-- oh about that you met your soulmate ehhh??" She then started pinching me and I stopped her. Stop teasing me :((((

I didn't know why, I'm not even sure but I caught Ejikiel looking down, like he was shocked and devasted at the same time.

"Well that's true but still, we should have fun for this school festival right? I mean, it's our last time before graduating." I said and took a sip of my milkshake.

"I was assigned for the Horror Booth.." Ejikiel said, I looked at him and smiled. Good for him!

"Let's promise each other that we should have fun, okay?" Jennette said and we all nodded. We should have fun.

UHM. IS THIS FUN!?

I feel so awkward! Girls are like going crazy, pulling their crushes and signing the petition for the marriage booth.

"Wait c-calm down everyone." I said while fixing the veil of that one girl, she looks pretty. Ahhh, they look so happy!

"Athanasia! This girl too!" I heard Ashley calling me, she's the makeup artist of our team. I nodded and fixed the girl's gown before going to another girl.

"Zayler! Please take their picture." I called put our photographer when I saw the groom was finally finished dressing up.

After a few hours, crowds started to flow down and I was smiling while looking at the couple that's getting 'married'

"They look so cute, aren't they?" I heard Ashley whisper, I just nodded and looked around, the special effects team did a great job for our booth. Should I thank them later?

"Athanasia!" I heard Ejikiel and quickly looked back, he was holding foods. Finally! Our savior, Ashley looked like a beast HAHAHAHAAHAH well we haven't eaten since the event started.

"Thank you so so much Ejikiel!" I said and started eating happily.

Hours passed and the booths are now closed, we're here at the big field for the concert that was arranged by the students.

I haven't seen Lucas ever since the festival started. Where is he? Oh gosh! Why am I even thinking about him?

I sighed and just looked at the stage, who's going to perform?

The crowd started cheering and screaming. The curtains opened and when I saw their vocalist my eyes widened

LUCAS!?!?!?!?!
